Marcia did alterations on my niece's and sister's dress, so on two days notice I asked her to add the rhinestone accents to my dress. They looked at me confused and said it has to be after noon which no one told me. They hadn't even started it. It was a simple fix. However, the lack of communication wasn't appreciated. When I picked it up, they just handed it to me. They didn't show me the work and when I started to look at it, they just kind of stared at me. In fact, she shared her history of skill and passion for sewing, and she was very experienced in alterations like mine. This woman is a lifelong teacher and one of those artistic gems we never find nowadays - she worked magic. The outfit was meant to wear with no undergarments (it had a built in bra etc.) and frankly it didn't suit my body at all. She was able to detach the built in coverage, change the placement of the clasps, and the whole ensemble (an ornately adorned two piece) fit like a glove!!!
