I called three different roofing companies and Alex came out the same day. I never even got a call back from other two places. Ever since that first visit Alex has been a fantastic communicator. His crew came out and replaced the roof and vents in one day. His other crew came to replace all the gutters and downspouts. They even hung a new gutter/spout by the front door entrance and told me it would be no charge. Alex also personally replaced our hail-damaged screens. Now for the icing on the cake. Because we chose impact resistant shingles we are eligible for a significant reduction in our homeowners insurance. Alex took care of all the paperwork and communicated directly with our insurance company to make that happen. THAT is customer service and blew me away when he told me he would do that. Koren was super pleasant to work with all around. Fast, clear communication before the initial meeting. A lot of a great ideas during the initial meeting, for how to keep our project within budget, and where it was worth splurging or dialing back. We had requested a bid on two main projects (Kitchen and Primary Bathroom) and help deciding the scope for the remainder of our projects (Flooring, Guest Bath, Office, Patio, Etc.). We were shocked by how much of the "bonus" projects we could fit in, and yet felt very confident with Koren's insights that these were realistically within our budget. The formal quote came in REALLY fast after our meeting, and was very easy to follow and extremely fairly priced. Jerry painted the exterior of our house a few years ago. There are a couple of things he did that…read morereally stuck out to me. First, when he made his first assessment, he noted that we had some rotted wood on our porch railing. Part of his proposal was to repair the damaged wood before painting. Second, he gave us a couple of choices on the quality of paint we wanted him to use. Choice one was a builder grade paint that would have been cheaper, but the reason we needed our house painted was because the builder grade paint had faded badly in the Texas sun. Choice 2 was a higher end paint that is designed to hold up under the Texas sun. And so far it has. The quality of the paint job was excellent. The timing of the job was tricky, because we scheduled the job and then it started raining. So he worked around the weather and the job got done as quickly as it could have been. I appreciated that he didn't want to rush the job and risk letting the weather mess up the work. I know he had other jobs lined up already, but he gave the right amount of attention to our house and didn't rush things in order to get to the other jobs he had scheduled next. We would definitely use him again. (But we won't have to for a while!)
