I call around 11 and asked if they take walk ins. They said we can take you at 2pm today. Wow! Perfect! We arrive and the guys are so welcoming. My son pops in the chair. And they get to it. I explain what I would love to see. And he says. No problem. I normally just sit down and scroll on my phone but in the corner of my eye I see them working with my son. I watch as he carefully combs my son's hair and treats every move he makes so delicately. I'm thinking to myself. This guy loves being a barber because he treated my son's hair not like just a normal haircut, but a work of art. He took his time and the precision is in the detail. Just when I thought he was done. Cookie cutter haircuts for young people perhaps. After my haircut I washed my hair the next morning and it was very uneven- just a bad haircut. I went back the the shop to request that it be evened out and cut the way I asked. I was told there was no time on the schedule and I could come back at the end of the day to see if there was time for them to do anything. They acted very annoyed that I was asking them to fix their mistakes. Instead I went to another barber who happily fit me in. He said the haircut was typical of what men in their 20s wear and some barbers only know how to cut hair one way. I'll never go back, and I'd advise anyone else - unless you want a typical 20 year old's haircut, to find a different barber. Just as bad as the haircut was their attitude when I asked for them to fix their mistakes. read more

Very poor service. Waste of if time. I had an appointment arriving 10 minutes early Alfredo booked me for 11:00. after waiting extra 25 minute. I had to cancel due to Alfredo not having the time needed for the hot shave booked in advance. Waste of time. stay away don't go. read more

When I moved to Ramona it took me three years to find a barber I liked. I'm very specific when it comes to my barbershop. For me, the shop has to have an environment where everyone is laughing and happy, the barbers need to take their time, have attention to detail, and treat every customer like their good friend they've known forever, the price needs to be fair for the services provided, and last but not least, the haircut itself needs to be on point. Finest blends has absolutely all of this and then some. I have been bringing myself and two of my sons here for over a year now and have never once been disappointed. My kids love it as much as I do and it's great bonding time. Finest blends is the barbershop that I take my sons too and explain to them that this is what a barbershop is supposed to be. TJ is the barber of my choice for me and my sons, he's great, timely, professional and most importantly, he knows how to cut some hair. However, if TJ is out of town or can't cut our hair then I am perfectly fine if one of the other guys cuts it because they are just as good. Call ahead and schedule an appointment because these guys are very good at what they do and it seems like most of Ramona knows it, so they sometimes have their days filled with clients.
