Me: A female with an undercut with a hard part (because my hair is so thick that it gives me a headache but Inwant to maintain length) who had had a hard time finding a barber that would cut my hair (called several places that told me they don't cut womens hair even though I was asking for a man's style) I was going to a Sport Clips regularly where one of the stylists was perfect with my hair but she sadly left the state. I can't justify paying over $50 at an upscale salon that would consider what I want trendy nor am I interested in paying the price at a higher end barber shop that does all the frills ie hot towel etc. I was honestly just looking for a mom and pop shop that could be trusted to shave my head properly. They gave me a bad haircut, it was cut very very short which was not wanted. Instead I wanted to get a 1 inch trim off which was requested and announced. However they cut more than around 3-4 inches off the sides. read more

This place uses vacuums that keep you clean when you get your cut. Translation: get a haircut at lunchtime and be able to go back to work without being covered in hair clippings from head to toe. That's a big time saver and super convenient. Plus they're open later than most other barbers! My old barber shop, Roger's Barber Shop, used the same setup and I got spoiled with that convenience. We had a bad experience and we're not going back. We took my 14-year-old son here, who wears his hair longer, for "a trim." We specifically told the barber that, and said "half an inch." At some point in the barber's mind that turned into 1 inch. That made a huge difference, and my son's not happy. I'm not sure how someone loses such simple information in such a short period of time. We went here as an alternative to great clips, which as many know, is hit or miss, and overpriced. Well, they don't miss the mark by this much ever. The hunt for a regular Barber continues, but I would not recommend anyone going to this place unless you want to treat it as a bad learning experience. read more

Really nice lady, but didn't listen to a word I said. I wanted a neck trim as I have longer hair, she tapered the back of my neck even with long hair, so it forced me to cut the sides, then the sides were way to short and my hair looked very goofy long, so then we had to cut the top and it looks unbelievably uneven. I told her I was very upset with the results and thinking about just buzzing it instead. read more

Going to start off with how much I love this Barbershop and how welcoming they are to customer typically waiting outside to great customers approaching (If there is no line.) - The man that owns the shop as well as the wife and a younger gentleman always give a A++ haircut and I typically get a low skin fade with a hard part and comb over style. *****However, for the first time I had alot older man roughly dressed and I received a terrible haircut and must have corrected at least 4 times and I was very polite when doing so. I didn't want to chance more damage ai I just stopped saying anything so id be done and could leave. I requested my normal hair cut and instructed by pointing to where I wanted my low skin fade to be (slightly below mid ear) It ended up far beyond the top of my ear and wasn't faded. The transition was night and day. My hard part (also pointed to where I wanted it) was at the completely wrong spot and had him stop. The lengths on the top and trimming was sub par quality at best. To add his breath was rancid and could kill a cow. Stay away from him at all cost. Everyone else at the Barber is absolutely great though and I will return but I learned my lesson and this guy wont be cutting my hair again. read more

I came back from college hoping to get a new fresh cut before summer classes start. I was pretty excited that the reviews were pretty outstanding for Teo's Barber Shop, and after my trip I can say I was not disappointed at all! I had the lady over there cut my hair, and she was extremely efficient and precise. You could tell how much she cared about being meticulous by the way she would pause to look in the mirror and also gauge your expression. She did a great job. Additionally, the place is very well kept; the razors they use have a built in vacuuming system so you don't go home with hair itching all over your back. Their prices are very reasonable. I guess the only downside is that it's cash only! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a new barber. Cheap, efficient, and all around a great vibe to be in! read more

Great no frills barbershop that gets you in/out quickly. They have cool vacuum connections to their electric buzzers which automatically clean up hair clippings leaving your head/face/body clean without the need to wash up afterwards. I kept telling him several times to cut above the eyebrows and really short in the back and he even assured me he knows what he's doing. Teo's is open now with lots of precautions for safety. They can cut your hair without having to take your mask off which felt very safe. They sanitize all clippers, scissors and combs for each customer. They have an outdoor station set up for cutting and it felt very safe. I was very happy with my haircut. So yes they are OPEN. They cut your hair they use hair vacuums so no hair on your neck and my son and I have never gotten hair done wrong here. over all 5 star rating. Never again. Decided to give this place a second chance after my first cut was messed up. Noticed that my hair line had an indent like he cut too far in and the top wasn't how I wanted. Second time was worse. Thought he understood what I wanted. I wanted to keep the length on the top, but clean it up a bit. Went too short, there's a line from around my ear that's not clean and my side burns don't match and look terrible! Sure it's cheap but I pay the same in Orange County and my old barber never made such mistakes. read more

Do not come here if you're looking fo a quality fade. I asked for a low cut skin fade and to just trim the top. They cut to much off the top and gave me a comb over I didn't ask for. My fade is uneven and they cut the top of my hair wrong since it isn't even symmetrical. They're fine for basic haircuts, but if you're looking for precision and consistency, especially with fades, I don't think this place is appropriate. read more
