I waited 5 minutes, mean time, 5 EMPLOYEES STOOD AROUND HER OR WITHIN 20 feet of me while I waited. DONE! Long time shoppers will not return to here or Vestal...Go to Target, Walmart or other smaller excersise stores I have visited. Manager should be embarrassed and reprimanded...Customer service is what is going to keep your stores afloat and not go way of other large merchandisers...Good Bye!!

My…read moreboyfriend saw a button shirt he liked in our new store so I looked it up on the app for a possible Christmas present. The shirt retails for 65.00 and I never pay retail price. On the app some of the colors had gotten clearanced and the color he liked in the store was one of those marked down online to 19.47. The cashier looked at the app and scanned the item which was still coming up full price in the store. The cashier asked if I wanted him to ask a manager I said sure can't hurt. The employee said cause it was a clearance item it couldn't be price matched. I said ok well I'm not paying full price for the shirt I don't need it that bad so I headed to my car. That's when Chris came all the way to the parking lot to tell me they would absolutely match the price and there had been some confusion. He said they wanted to make sure I got what I wanted. I had a fantastic experience working with Thane on a big tailoring order a few weeks ago…read more I had 7 or so suits that needed various levels of adjustments, mostly simple stuff like shortening sleeves, hemming pants, and taking in the width on a few blazers. However, I also had one blazer that I purchased at an online tailor company that came out very wonky in the shoulders. Thane was able to perform surgery on it and perfectly fix the issues. He got everything done on a tight timeframe too, and put in extra work to get it all exact. Beyond that, he was a pleasure to chat with and very professional. The whole project came to a little over $1000, which I think was reasonable given the quantity and quality of work done. I especially don't think anyone else could have fixed the shoulders on that one blazer, so it effectively saved me the value of losing out on an entire suit jacket.

They did also this and answered a bike frame fit question that I have never managed to get a correct answer to. The visit was a win and worth the shop labor and time. But they have just about everything you'd want for athletic equipment, hunting gear, shoes, and active wear. This store has an especially nice and large section of Syracuse University clothing and memorabilia. The only major complaint is the checkouts. They are DESIGNED to produce long and ungainy lines. Even on a slow day, you're likely to wait 10 minutes to check out. This design does, however, make you feel like the only customer in the store when you ARE actually checking out.

I think one of the 2 staff members greeted me when I walked in, I wasn't sure but I said hello back. I was fine browsing alone, but not once did they ask if I needed help finding anything. The ENTIRE time I was in there (30-40 minutes), the staff members were talking to one another across the store, complaining openly about their income, about the way the store is run, about other coworkers, about their schedules, about their workload, etc. At one point one of them said something about threatening to "punch an old lady in the head," speaking about who I assumed was a co-worker from this store or another location. It was an energy draining experience. I left without purchasing anything because I couldn't stand to be around the unprofessional chatter anymore. The store itself was clean, spacious, and organized, had a decent selection of shoes, and a cute section for kids with a cartoon playing on TV. It's unfortunate that the customer service was so severely lacking, it really does make a difference in guest experience.
