Technically this shopping emporium is in suburban Rosemont, and hardcore shoppers from out of town have been known to make some last-minute purchases here before flying out of nearby O'Hare Airport. Most local shoppers drive here, and grouse about the cost of parking to shop here. We arrived via the free shuttle bus that makes a circuit around Rosemont hotspots and connects to the Rosemont CTA Blue Line station. We are not huge shoppers, but we enjoyed checking out a variety of stores and eyeballing the public art installations. There were deals to be had if you wanted them. We also enjoyed a couple of free treats from the wonderful chocolate shops, and there is a decent food court if you need a bite to eat. Amazingly there is also a 7-11 where you can get a beverage or snack, and the prices seem to be the same as those in standard 7-11 stores not embedded in shopping emporiums.

She knew the initial shoe I was looking for was out of stock. But when I asked about another shoe, she began comparing the in-stock shoe to the out of stock shoe. The features were comparable but it was half the price and it was in stock. It's also good to note, I usually wear a 10 1/2, but in this shoe 10 1/2 was too big. The 10 fit perfectly, so I was glad I came to the store, instead of buying online. Char, our cashier was wonderful. She was attentive and honored my online coupon. She even informed us about additional discounts. I save over a $100 with this purchase instead of the initial purchase, I intended to make. I was extremely pleased. Let's recap: Initial shoe was on sale but wasn't in stock. In-stock shoe was on sale but significantly cheaper than initial shoe. I chose this place because it's near my apartment and also it's not a hassle to drive. I came here for a second time and their products were good. Some of their selected items are on sale so you can save a lot of money. I chose to buy him a long sleeve polo. The fabric was thin and it's not too hot to wear. Staff said that it was comfortable to wear. She's nice and helps me to choose. Aside from that I also bought a jacket for my husband. Its thick and good for winter days. It's a little bit pricey since it has a good quality fabric. I bought everything I needed. Highly recommend this place.

They act annoyed when you ask for a fitting room and roll their eyes when you have too many. I asked a lady who was African American for help and she dismissed me then asked me to move. It's 90 degrees out today and I was so pissed I forgot my jacket at home. No no, that's not a…read moremistype. Whenever I fly, well, anywhere, I always take at least some sort of lightweight jacket with me as the airport and planes (especially in the summer) hover around seemingly subzero temperatures. Therefore when I arrived at ORD without my trusty summer "jacket" my first stop after security was Johnston & Murphy. There really aren't too many clothing shopportunities at O'Hare so beggars can't be choosers. I rifled through the racks and selected a coated denim jacket that is not only super cute but keeping me semi-warm on the second coldest plane I've ever been on (first coldest was this winter - it was so chilly it required 40 minutes of deicing). The gentleman working at J&M was friendly, helpful and thorough. He removed all tags, had me store extra buttons and had me on my way in no time. If you have a little time and money to spare in Terminal 1 (near B6) give Johnston & Murphy a look.
