We went there and we ordered two chili hot dogs and one large fries. Chili tastes old and we couldn't taste the hotdog. My wife showed me that her hotdog is not cooked. It's red meat. Fries taste blanks and not hot. Result I got so sick and went to urgent care today and they said it's either food poison, or old and left over foods. They gave me a medicine to help me feel better. We will never go back again until food and health inspection done with them soon. read more

This was one of my favorite places for a burger. Not after today. Not only was it over $5, it wasn't even an 1/8th of a pound! The burger was so small, I folded the top bun in half and ate it that way. It was 2-1/2 inches across on a normal size bun. I asked for mayonnaise... none. To top it all off... it wasn't even warm! If I could give no stars I would. Decided to to try this place one weekend after seeing it on several occasions. First after I placed my order I waited for 45 minutes.It wasn't a complex order. Two double cheeseburgers and a quesadilla and a large fry. After seeing multiple people arrive, place orders and receive their order.I asked what was the issue which they revealed they had forgotten half my order.Which I didn't even complain just said ok. So when they finally completed my order. The quesadilla was so greasy it fell apart and the cold burgers were so cold like they weren't even cooked. I will never be back and I like to support local businesses.Save your money and try some of the other establishments in the area. read more

New owners took over just a few months ago. The food is great if not better than before. But I've been up there 5 times when there credit card machines were not working this is not the way to do business this day and time. Absolutely terrible service. Our food took over thirty minutes to make then they gave it to someone else. When they refilled our drinks there was a fly in my drink and we decided we no longer wanted to dine and asked for a refund. The manager was not there so we had to wait an additional 15 minutes for her to arrive. She immediately stormed up to our table and yelled at us. She made the comment that a fly in the drink wasn't a big deal then as she walked away she said "all this over a fly". She was against us receiving a refund until we offered to call the cops to dispute it. After that her attitude changed and she gave us a refund. read more

Used to eat here before remodeled. Food used to be excellent but now it is horrible. Hot dogs were red, not normal hot dog color. Onion rings overcooked. Sweet potato fries were hot but soggy and greasy. Worst of all, two employees sat in dining area to smoke less than 10 feet from us. We had to sit in our car to eat. Drove up to Lavonia from Atlanta for fishing on Lake Hartwell. Stopped by Finley's which is a food stand for a bite to eat. If you like a homemade, old fashioned, burger this place is a must stop. The burgers are cooked to order, so you may have to wait about 10 minutes. The burger was served hot and juicy. The fries are steak fries and were piping hot. I wasn't able to eat all of the fries, so I took the rest home with me. With the over $10 "gourmet" burger craze in Atlanta, its pleasing to know a delicious burger and fries can be purchased for under $10 in America. Call ahead if you are in a hurry. Great American food at its best. Don't let the little trailer fool you by its looks. Chili dogs, slaw dogs, hamburgers and cheeseburgers, onion rings, fries turkey sandwich, blt and the list goes on. The hamburgers are pattied out by hand and not frozen and it's 100% beef. This place is most always full of people and the food is made to order but they get it to you really fast. They have out door seating under a small car shelter that is great when it's raining or it's hot outside. They have been selling food here for a long time and know exactly how to do it rite. It's only 1 1/2 miles from interstate I-85. It's worth the time to stop by if your traveling down I-85. read more

It's better than it looks, way better. It's nice to find another trailer selling reasonable priced chili dogs made by friendly folks that like nothing better than to please their customers. Easy to eat two chili dogs here. They are small well constructed dawgs. Soft steamed bun caroled the load well. The weenie had never met a rabbi I'm pretty certain. The chili had never been to Texas. Chili tasted like mommas. A pack of chili-o mix, can of tomatoes and about twice the hamburger the recipe called for. It's better on Thursday than it is on Monday. Onions were fresh, crisp, chilled Bermuda's. I had two down before the whistle sounded. Had I gotten a third one I'm not sure I'd made it back home but I wasn't willing to chance it. They seemed to sell more burgers than dogs. Prices were reasonable. Service was agreeable. I'm glad I found the place. I had better luck catching chili dogs here than I did fishing on lake Hartwell. The place reminded me of coming up at home 50 years ago. Sandwiches wrapped in paper., made to order, by folks who were in no great big hurry, but gonna get the order correct if it took all day. We have seen this place several times so today we stopped. We are glad we did !!!! This is a little place with outdoor seating only but the food and the Happy staff is a delight. Definitely a little gem of a place with fair prices and humble environment. We were only passing through and selected Finley's based on other Yelpers. I wish our experience was as good. Great to grab and go but if you stay for the outside seating be prepared to fight against flies for your food. Fries and tater tots were soggy and needed longer in the fryer. Granted they were a little busy with call ins and walk ups but I was willing to wait for crispier items. Hubby had the chili dogs which could have been hotter, luke warm dog with like warm chili. I had the corn dogs which were huge and delicious and hot. Ordered 3 not expecting them to be stadium size, could only finish 2. Don't pass this up just based on this one review, menu had lots of things to try and not everything was in the fried department. read more

Tasty perfect cheeseburger and huge steak fries cooked to order. My husband tried the special of the day- turkey club and it was delicious. We got our meals to go but there's covered outside seating if you don't mind traffic sounds. Want to try hot dogs on next visit. Will be going back soon! read more
