The owner was very pleasant who made sure to acknowledge every customer and made sure they were finding what they were looking for, while keeping the music flowing. This place is a little more unique, compared to other record store that I've been to in the area. This place not only has nice used and new vinyl at respectable prices, but they also have vintage audio equipment such as tube amps!! Be still my heart. If you're not in the market to buy, I hear they also do repairs on audio equipment if your setup needs some TLC. What if you're not quite certain on a particular record? Well, don't worry, just take a seat at the listening station they have setup for your enjoyment. If you're a fan of vinyl, you must give this little record store a chance, or you're missing out.

If a business is going to be closed during a time they are normally open, there should at least be a note on the door saying "closed today due to illness" or whatever it might be. We…read morewere visiting CDA and had mentioned to multiple people that we'd like to check out Long Ear and they all encouraged us to go. The vibe is cool and the staff were really friendly. I was hoping they'd be selling movies in addition to music (they weren't) but the music collection was pretty extensive. It did seem a little pricey and I am accustomed to vinyl shops being on the less expensive end but that wouldn't discourage me from spending a morning digging around for some records. Enjoy!
