I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. There are several food and beer and liquor vendors and all are overpriced, but that seems to be the norm at any large venue. Plan to eat and drink at one of the close by restaurants before your event for better quality and price. We have never had a hassle or issue and were able to relax and enjoy ourselves. Ticket prices for the hockey games are most reasonable. The place and the restrooms are kept clean.

We loved the game because it went into extra innings and the Yard Goats ended up winning the game The team store is somewhere that we already had planned on going and ended up shopping for family. I loved one of the Ushers had one. It said "goat herder" which was genuinely what someone in my family does!! I saw some of our family members with food and quite honestly I am sure they enjoyed it. It might take time to get out of the parking after the shows but it is manageable. I suggest to get there early to get good parking, light snacks, and some merchandise. The merch line is usually long but it is organized. All the staff is friendly and willing to help if you have questions. Seating in the theater can be a bit tight but it is not too bad. Overall I love coming here when there is show I want to see but don't feel like going to NYC to watch it.

That being said, I'd try to avoid this place in the future if I could. With multiple ways in and out of here, it was with great surprise that the police blocked all but 1 way in. I'm sure they have a logical reason for doing that but it made it so the were massive jams trying to get from 84 to the parking. Then, they rely on the actual traffic lights to move the flow of traffic instead of manually controlling it. It was a massive cluster F. I was about 2 hours ahead of kickoff when I got off the highway and spent about 50 mins to go a mile. The parking at the venue was $30 and I had prepaid but they did also take cash on site. This lead to even more delays trying to park as the attendants had to make change and run credit cards. They have a bunch of grassy fields in the back which worked ok except for the torrential downpours making the fields flood (bring you boots if it's raining). The stadium itself was ok with the highlight for me being the food and beverage. They had a nice selection of local craft beer and the food was as good as you can get at a venue like this. If the food was bad this would be a 1 star review. There also isn't much cover on the concourse so pre match everyone was crowded into small areas trying to stay dry. Getting out was equally as bad except this time they use all the routes in and out. Great, except when it sends you 4 miles in the opposite direction because you just happened to get into that row. It seems like locals/uconn folks know the secrets but as a one and done visitor it was painful. Overall, decent stadium with a decent food experience but getting in and out is poorly organized. Try to get there early and maybe even leave a bit early to beat the nonsense.

The O'Connell Center is the home arena for Division III University of Saint Joseph's volleyball,…read morebasketball and swimming/diving teams. The gym has bleachers on one side of the court and they can hold about 500 fans. One interesting thing about the bleachers, they are marked with black tape to signify where your personal space ends and where the personal space of your neighbor starts. We just attended a St Joseph's Men's basketball game that was part of the USJ Holiday Tournament. If you've never been here before, you have to understand that Division III basketball at USJ is no frills - no snack bar (except for a coed selling bags of chips from a table in the lobby), no pep band, no cheerleaders, no video scoreboard, and no halftime entertainment except for a half-court shot attempt by a spectator. What you will see is a great effort by some real student athletes playing hard in front of family and friends. We also got to see legendary coach Jim Calhoun on the St Joseph sidelines, he threw a water bottle to the ground twice, because of some dubious shot selection by his team. St. Joseph had a strong game against Fisher College - they sprinted out to a 51-15 halftime lead, then traded baskets in the second half to cruise to a 91-56 victory. One cool thing we saw at the arena was a 1/10th mile jogging track suspended above the court in a balcony where lots of banners honoring various student-athletes were on display. Admission was just ten bucks. Not a bad way to spend a few hours watching these kids play.

Dillon the mascot was so much fun and there were tons of people at the game. Like a whole world existed that I had no idea about. Food-wise, I tried a hot dog and popcorn. It may not be as fancy as the Hartford Yard Goats, but it is a super fun and clean stadium. The bathrooms were spotless. There was a beer garden and even a place to play corn hole. I had a blast at my first ever game and will definietly go back to another and bring some friends. The bleechers we packed with people and the energy was awesome.

It's a group venue at Dunkin Park. Our group deal got us a two and a half hour buffet chock full of these goodies - 1/3lb Grilled Burgers, Grilled Hot Dogs, Pulled Pork, Mac N' Cheese, Pasta Salad, lettuce/tomato/cheese, Potato Chips, Chocolate Chip Cookies and Non-Alcoholic Beverages. The Party Porch is in the upper deck rightfield corner, just by the foul pole. There were at least a dozen tables and chairs for us to hang out, chit chat with our friends, eat and drink and occasionally watch the ball game. The game ticket and food ran us about $45 per person, so it was a pretty good value considering what we received. Tickets were e-mailed to us and we had the choice to paper print them or download them on our phone to be scanned at the gate. I want to give a big shout out to the two staff members we interacted with. Cassandra was our bartender and buffet stocker. Anthony was our greeter, wrist band provider and a very genial host. Both were outstanding.
