Salerno insisted the tooth was in danger and that only dental surgery could save it. So I had a root canal(!) and part of my healthy gum cut off. Then, IMMEDIATELY after the final surgery, Salerno said I would lose the tooth soon anyways and that it wouldn't be long before it happened. So all those needles surgeries just so he could make some quick cash. Disgrace.

My root canal was four months old because the previous dentist was unable to fit a crown which she had twice sent out to the lab to create the customized crown , but both times the crown could not fit right in my mouth . I was feeling pretty defeated as my recent root canal procedure was pricey and the tooth was literally getting reinfected since a temporary nor a permanent crown could be fitted . After the second time I realized I would have to seek out a different dentist . I chose Dr Solerno because of his office ability to create in-house crowns and felt this would make it easier for them to tweak one on! Boy was I right about my psychic impression !! I finally have a tooth after months of unable to have a fitted crown . I was referred here by a trusted high school friend who is also a dental hygienist. I was taken in almost immediately. Doc Sevarino gave me a complete consult and identified all problem areas. Let's just say I drink soda like water. I was given a referral to a local endontologist (spelling). The entire process was less stressful than expected. Just recently I cracked a molar in two. My only real day off is Monday. I was able to get in with no fuss. They work well with my insurance. They are quick, gentle and just a great group of people. Plus the fact they make it a point to know you by your first name and generally care it's refreshing. If you're looking for a place that will actually care about you and what they are doing, then this is the place to go!
