I have anxiety issues and a gag reflex (which is made worse by the anxiety) and I've had everything from a dentist who walked out of the room because they thought it was "ridiculous" to the staff talking about me right outside the room and how awful it was to have me as a patient. My root canal was four months old because the previous dentist was unable to fit a crown which she had twice sent out to the lab to create the customized crown , but both times the crown could not fit right in my mouth . I was feeling pretty defeated as my recent root canal procedure was pricey and the tooth was literally getting reinfected since a temporary nor a permanent crown could be fitted . After the second time I realized I would have to seek out a different dentist . I chose Dr Solerno because of his office ability to create in-house crowns and felt this would make it easier for them to tweak one on! Boy was I right about my psychic impression !! Salerno insisted the tooth was in danger and that only dental surgery could save it. So I had a root canal(!) and part of my healthy gum cut off. Then, IMMEDIATELY after the final surgery, Salerno said I would lose the tooth soon anyways and that it wouldn't be long before it happened. So all those needles surgeries just so he could make some quick cash. Disgrace.
