A bit silly. They try to make this about the artichokes but it's about the money really... isn't it. From the parking, gate fees and food it's for those with disposable incomes. Please take this festival back to Castroville. Last words... music was fine.

I have also worked with better but that was through the military. I am not sure what renters are expecting, rent goes up every year, thats anywhere. Paramount raised the rent every year just about but never gouged us. They left proper notices before entering the home, answered inquiries if I had any, provided maintenance when needed and had a simple enough auto-pay system. Communication is key, I always made sure I communicated any issues or concerns. When I was able to buy a home I put in my notice, did the move out inspection. I didn't hire cleaners, I took time off work and cleaned and washed the carpets myself, we did small repairs but I know we left our mark in that rental we spent 24 hours in that house for almost 2 years just about. I did take my own pictures prior to move in and kept the original lease in file, documented the same when exiting and got about 40% of my deposit back (around 900). Frankly I think it was fair but if I didn't I have documentation to back it up. My suggestion to anyone is document, do the inspection and if you disagree go to court as it is your right but most importantly communicate and provide facts not opinions. Rental properties have rules, read the lease as it is a binding contract. Kind regards, CW

I was a honest renter who always kept communication even when there was never any maintenance done and I was told I need to pay for certain repairs in the condo. Do not rent nor buy from paramount properties unprofessional greedy people who insulted me as a single mother personally mailing me letter putting me down as a single mother from Marie miller the owner. Shame on this company. -5 stars.

For $25, it's pretty steep, that's the same price I paid to go through 7 museum floors at SFMOMA, this place has 2 house floors. I spend my sweet time at museums, and this place took me an hour and I've read every card, looked closely at every piece of work. SFMOMA took me 2 days to go through everything, this was back when they had the indoor pond for the sounds exhibit too. So a normal person can easily finish in like 15-20 minutes. Unless you tell yourself artists are poor until they die and with $25 you can support them for a cup of Joe and a sandwich, then this place aint worthwhile.

There's some interesting information on that sign as well, that I was not aware of.... He wasn't a fan of women parts and some of his art expresses that. He was definitely an eccentric artist. It was a fun trip, I'd recommend to others who enjoy art and know what they're walking into!

I believe :the Farm" used to have this -organic? - farm but they shut that down,one particular jail bud of mine's story as to how he,a week after being released from the Fram,came back on the grounds in a on St. Patrick's day dressed in a jail uniform and distributed pot,liquid methadone,and other goodies to the lads still inside perhaps being a reason for that. If he is to be believed... Supposedly,Santa Cruz will rebalance all its jail population,and all non-violent males will be at The Farm,though that says that DUI/domestic violence casesd would still be at SCCJ-Since those are two crimes that more "middle-class" folks can more easily fall into-The weekend,during my time there,would bring "respctable-er" new jacks/fish in those categories-I wounder if that will be so? The Fram,even if the "Farm" itself is gone,apparently is the "develop a work ethic' jail of the SCCO system,with peop-le having jobs,one other inmate of mine in SCCJ was seemingly recalling how,when there,"he did all te welding".

If you visit a field office, get the card immediately and paper maps ( Fort Ord). I visited the state parks website and they are sending me a card, too. Fabulous, because I am a country girl and prefer nature walks. Concrete jungles (cities) are good for shows, shopping and spending $$$, but I prefer the fresh air, sounds and sights of nature. We are so fortunate!!!
