This was my go to in Concord. Very good wings bone and boneless. But Pittsburg is a hit or miss, mostly hit. I always try to resolve directly with the store 1st but they do not allow that so I went to Yelp. Anyway, this was my fav wing spot. I usually love the chicken skin for the seasoning and crispness. But, last week the salt and pepper wings tasted old like it was precooked before I ordered and then sat for way too long. Today, the chicken was SO HARD I was concerned for my teeth. It was clear they double fried (possibly) some old chicken or they have changed their recipe and process and it now tastes like trash. Spent nearly $40 and, in this difficult economy, we deserve an edible meal. Please train your staff to answer simple questions or to know how to obtain the correct answer and provide professional customer service. No one knew anything about the bday meal & how it works, Noone knew how to lodge a complaint directly with the store mgr, owner, or ceo, Noone knew how to reach the mgr, owner, or ceo or when they would EVER come back. Bad experience...you are on your own. Now, what if this was a food poisoning and I cannot reach the mgr, owner, or ceo? You clearly do not care for your customer base. Food was hard, and we can't do nothing but wait DAYS or WEEKS for a return call. Yeah, we also aren't parents, working, commuting, going to school...so take your time. Call us when YOU feel like it. And don't let me start on those hard wood seats and the excessive number of flies in the restaurant today. read more

My man took me here, I never been. I ordered 10 wings, half of it was teriyaki and the other was garlic parmesan (I think). A lot of items on the menu wasn't available. My wings was delicious! I wish the cheese was more melted on the Parmesan though. Overall it was good. My man ordered some boneless wings and it was a pretty good size. I forgot what flavors he ordered, but he said it was good. Service was fast. The place was nice and clean. Boneless wings are cheaper on Monday and Tuesday I think 85 cents? Instead, it's the same story we've seen too many times--owners who open a business here, let the staff run it into the ground, and move on to the next location. The food is inconsistent, the tables are sticky, and the employees seem checked out, just taking orders with no effort to make customers feel welcome. They don't even bring food to the table anymore, they just call your number and walk away. It's frustrating because it feels like the owners don't see Pittsburg as worth their best effort, like the community doesn't deserve a clean, well-run place to eat. We do. THIS IS ACTUALLY A GOOD REVIEW IN THE END: Came in "originally" on Thursday 11/06/25 ordered my usual 10 piece salt and pepper combo extra crispy extra seasoning. Unfortunately, it was a miss. The chicken was very dry, so I went back in the same night and asked them to remake it. The supervisor was very helpful, but unfortunately, when I got back home it went from being very dry to being undercooked.. tired from work I just stayed home and had 3 different pieces hoping it would get better and it didn't and then I was over it. Spoke with the gentleman very kind (possibly Filipino I don't know it really doesn't matter I'm only trying to ensure he gets the proper recognition he deserves- he was wearing glasses. Apologize for the inconvenience and communicated with the cook in the back to remake my order. The cook from behind ( Hispanic full hair - sorry again only trying to ensure they get the proper recognition they deserve) said I'm going to chop your garnishments fresh for you so it's gonna be another 4 to 5 minutes to which I was very appreciative. I don't know the names of the duel who was working Friday early afternoon around 12 noon on 11/07 but they are amazing! The chicken was great and the freshly chopped garnishments was chefs kiss! Those two really made my day start off great! Thank you. Mind you I would not write a negative review as I would rather communicate directly to the store to give them a chance to fix it. Ordered some cheese sticks on the side for my Wednesday Wings special and got me some not so special cheese sticks. It seems they dipped the cheese sticks in fried chicken batter! Then, when I bit into the cheese sticks, the cheese didn't really stretch like cheesy, it snapped instead! I'm convinced this is a cheese nugget! There's a process to making cheese sticks. 3 bowls ( Flour, Egg wash, breadcrumbs) First layer: Dip each stick into the flour tapping off excess then dip it in the egg-wash allowing excess to drip off. Second layer: repeat dipping process going back into the egg-wash, then back to the breadcrumbs. After breading, you place them on baked baking sheet and freeze them for at least an hour before cooking them. That is the perfect way to make them. In fact i believe it to be common kitchen knowledge. I learned how to make cheesesticks when i was 11 years old! The service is outstanding , great hard working employees, very friendly & they keep the tables clean and they serve fast. Also I live about 15 mins away from the store and I asked them to get started on the remake and they declined because they want to see the hairy food. I really like them, but every time it's a different experience -- cold fries, too much sauce, poorly cooked chicken, or just scraps. It's clear that several staff members are truly local to Pittsburg and seeing their contagious energy and commitment to naturally create such a hospitable experience for customers is mind blowing. Finally, the food: I ordered the 15 wings (10 wing combo + 5 extra) in Peanut Butter, Jamaican jerk, and BBQ Chipotle along with a side of Fire Fries. The fire fries were delicious and lived up to their name with a nice kick. The BBQ Chipotle was delicious and a pleasant take on the typical BBQ flavor you may be accustomed to. The Jamaican jerk was exactly how you'd expect it to taste and was surprisingly aromatic as well. Now onto the 'unknown': Peanut Butter chicken wings. It reminded me of my trip to Singapore and the sauce I dipped my satay in at Lau Pa Sat. Oh my goodness, the flavor is a MUST TRY.
