My husband and I took a customized pistol personal training session with Bill last Friday. We have only been shooting since February, then took the CHL class. We practice once a week, but felt that we needed some training to make sure we weren't making any bad habits permanent. Bill listened to us as to what we thought we needed, and then he personalized the class for us. We started out in the classroom with the indoor Firearms Simulator. We learned so much about ourselves with this type of training. (By the way, it also saved us from using up precious ammunition.)Then we took it to the range. It is evident that Bill loves what he does, because he is knowledgeable, patient, and gives commands that are easily understood. We came away, after about 6 hours of personal training, with knowledge that will improve our technique. We plan to take more classes from Bill. My son, who is 12 years old, took his first Firearms Youth Safety Training Course with Firearms Training Fort Worth (Mr. Carlton) and WOW - so impressed. Mr. Carlton ensured that my son was knowledgeable of safety, firearms overall, and provided my son with his first real shoot ever - he was so exhilarated. Safety and the dangers inherent in misuse or mishandling of firearms and ammunition were continually reiterated and Mr. Carlton closely monitored my son's form and live-fire on range so that he had control of the entire period as well as allowed enough space and instruction so that my son could feel confident in his practice fire. Exceptional facility, great value. Took the CHL class on a Thursday and received a great deal of knowledge for a price that I could not beat anywhere else that I had researched elsewhere. The price included the range fees and they had guns to rent as well for the others in the class that happened to not have one to shoot. First class all the way and I could not have had a better experience. Was impressed with the other classes that the range had to offer for all areas of shooting and teaching offered. If you are a new shooter or an experienced shooter this facility has something for you. Safety was never an issue, everything was run in a smooth and professional fashion and timely as well. As a new shooter Bill has taken ample time to teach me all about gun safety and the proper techniques to shooting to hone my skills. I came into the facility never having held a gun in my life and he was able to guide me with knowledge and peace of mind to calm my nerves to become a good shooter and allow me to develop the self confidence needed to protect myself if the need arose.
