I almost didn't let my 8-year-old son attend the field trip yesterday to Fireball Mountain because of the reviews I read. Thankfully, I changed my mind at the last minute when I realized the YMCA camp he attends has been bringing kids here for at least three summers without any issues. My son had an amazing time! He said it was awesome because he felt like he was in an action movie while playing non-stop Laser Tag. He definitely wants to go back, especially if it's with a group of kids. Worst trip ever. Me, my husband, and 2 kids came here and absolutely regretted it. First, they fill up the water jugs with unfiltered hose water, and it tastes like cardboard. It is also uncomfortably warm and the cups are very low-quality. Next, there was little to no shade and one kid from another team passed out, and the staff didn't even notice until we had to carry him out hospital stretch-style. The employees were also very unenthusiastic, and even went on their phones for about 10 minutes. The game itself was fun, but I would overall not go again. read more

Zero stars. I do not understand why this guy is still in business or why he decided to run a business that caters to children in the first place. The owner is aggressively rude. I brought a cooler of gatorade for my son's birthday party on a hot summer day. As I was getting the cooler out of the car, I was told that it was not allowed so I asked why? He told me that "no drinks are allowed" so I double checked their website and the party contract and it does not state this. I asked him where this rule is stated. He argued that "it's written ALL OVER the website". When I pointed out that it is actually not written ALL OVER the website, he became nasty and disrespectful. Bringing in Gatorade would not/does not lessen the amount of money I already paid for the food and drinks that were part of the party package. Bringing in Gatorade did not take away from his profits. When I tried to take pictures of my son and his friends playing laser tag (see photo attached), I was told that I was not allowed "past the sign". I was approx 10 feet past the sign, just trying to see a little better and as I was walking back the owner came charging at me yelling that I couldn't go in there, "THE SIGN SAYS DO NOT GO BEYOND THIS POINT!" I said "ok, I was just trying to see if I could see more past these trees." I had literally walked 10 feet past the sign into the FIFTEEN ACRES of the property. Sir, this is very controlling behavior. I wish I had known ahead of time that I would be unable to monitor or at least ALLOWED to see the group of 15 boys (aged 11-13) that I was currently responsible for. Lastly, my son and his friends had a lousy time because they were set up to play against another party full of large high school kids. The other group CREAMED my son's group. The other boys were so much bigger and better that my son and his friends had no chance, and could barely play because they were always hit. A seasoned "professional" who has owned this business for 15 years should be aware of this issue. It would have been simple to split each team in half so it would have been fair and more fun for all. Not worth the money for all the drama and disappointment! Especially with so many other competitors in the area. DO NOT give this man your money. read more

I'm not one to write reviews, particularly a negative one. But the owner of this place was an absolute jerk to the kids and parents. Yes, it's a unique idea to take laser tag outside. But in this day and age, people should be thankful for the business we receive. Lots of competition out there. He was not only abrasive to the young kids, but out right rude and abrupt to the parents. At one point, one of the young boys fell and hurt his wrist. The very nice, late teenage boy working the party went to get him and Ice pack, and the Owner (Robert) stopped him and said for him to go back and clean the tables. The worker explained where he was going, and the owner still ordered him back to the picnic tables. I would NEVER go back, and NEVER recommend the place to anyone ! As my 9 year old said. We just our son's 10th birthday party on Saturday. It was fantastic! we asked if there was anything else, they said no and we left. Monday my husband gets a call, that we need to pay the bill. my husband says that he is in work and will not have access to his wallet till 330. That he will call back at 330. I call them at 1230 looking to review the bill. I was YELLED at by the OWNER for 10 minutes. he then told me that my husband was rude and they he would send the cops to our house. I was so shocked!! I asked him to stop yelling and he continued. If any one pays a bill without reviewing it they are stupid. I don't think that asking to review a bill is a terrible thing to ask. he was rude and told me over and over how rude my husband was. I don't know if my husband was rude or not, but the owner of the company was rude to me BIG TIME. They lost all future business from me and any referrals I would give! which would be a lot of them. Horrible! My friend payed for 20 people to play laser tag. We received our 20 suits and they told us that we had to pay 10 more dollars so we payed it. Then when we left they made us pay 187$ more! This was the worst experience ever! If you dont like to be treated equally and fairly, I advice you that this place is not the right place to be. Me and my group wanted to enjoy a nice outdoor laser tag party for my birthday. They charged us $609.00 for the package, jumpsuit and pizza. I did not receive an email stating that exact amount. I received an email stating that my remaining balance was 330.00, no email about the 609. This is a scam!!!! A disgrace to society. Never again!!! I was the birthday girl who just wanted a good time. I did not even get to eat my pizza with my family and friends. The games were not the time frame stated in my package. I hope this business gets shut down. Worst experience. The staff was so racist towards me and my group. We were paired up with a Caucasian group and they treated them better than us. They were all greeted with smiles while our black/Hispanic group were given rude looks the whole time. On top of that, they purposely charged us a large amount of money at the very end when we were walking out with no awareness initially!! Our birthday guest didn't even get a chance to eat her pizza at the end because they held her back and attacking her for the money that they never asked for until we were all done. I planned a party for my child. All week the forecast called for rain. I called the facility two days and the day before the event, and they assured me that the owner will watch the Doppler to determine if the party should be cancelled. The morning of the party, I called 6 hours before the scheduled time and spoke to the person in charge. The Doppler showed major storms during the time of my party. The person in charge said that it will be fine and he'll keep an eye. I tried to explain that I had to rent a van to bring the children to the event. He said that he would call 4 hours before if he believes the weather warrants a cancellation. An hour and forty-five minutes prior to the party start, we get a call from Fireball cancelling the party. Meanwhile, I had already rented the van, and kids were at my house ready to go. Fireball mountain refused to give me my deposit back. Now, I'm out $ for the party and $ for the rented van. Booooooo read more

Had my daughter's sweet 16 at fireball mountain. Everyone who played had a fantastic time. It was very different from all her friends parties and she was so happy to have it there. On the field our kids had a good time (not great but good). The office staff booking our event was friendly and nice to deal with. The teens working the parties after the kids are off the field are helpful. BUT and a BIG BUT..... The adult male staff running the place is extremely rude. Not child friendly at all. If you are adults, I am sure it is fine you can deal with him. But if you have young kids that may need a little extra time with checking in or understanding the set up for a first time, you are NOT getting Mr. Rogers more like a malfunctioning ROBO COP yelling at them, pushing them around etc. NOT only that he yelled at adult guests and the host in front of everyone. There was a little confusion with the party afterwards and instead of coming over to the host and asking a question, HE YELLED at her in front of all the guests across the tables. NOT something you would expect from a service oriented company. If that man was not involved and they had a more customer friendly manager (I think that is who ROBO COP was) I would have given this place four stars. In the following weeks we went to Long live Paintball in Monroe, Night and Day in customer service on site, they took the time to help the kids out, where patient and spent time with the adults explaining everything. Just beware and as long as you don't have to deal too much with the manager on site...you will be okay....but for the price and the remote location.....think twice for a party, a walk on event is probably a better Idea. read more
