Sessions vary depending on how my body feels and Sabrina spends time understanding where to put the work. Sometimes we do really deep work and other times not so much. Sometimes we do a lot of cupping work, other times less so. It feels to me like Sabrina is really feeling out your body to understand where we should focus during that session. With other practitioners I've visited, it feels like they have a cookie-cutter approach and aren't truly understanding what your body needs. Jane shared some 3-D anatomy imagery with me on her phone, pinpointing that she believed I had injured my bicep tendon, which was contributing to the drag I'd feel on my shoulder when attempting any downward reaching movement. During our session, Jane focused on fascia/Rolf techniques that were therapeutic, and she used herbal massage creams that helped ease the tension. For the past few months, I've been seeing Jane regularly for treatments. My shoulder has greatly improved, and at a recent physical with my MD I mentioned I had been having some shoulder issues, but did not tell him what Jane had suspected was the problem.
