Yum yum yum! What I would give for that delicious brunch right now! I came here when I was visiting some friends in Barcelona and was not disappointed. I ordered the eggs benny and it was just amazing. On the side were potatoes that were seasoned to perfection and an amazing little salad. All of this mixed together with the cute little booth we sat in was just a dream. I was so content and it was not overpriced! And they have Sriracha. My friend told my to get a Bloody Mary but I'm afraid of that so (stupidly) I didn't order one. I tried his and would have that drink every time I had a meal. Loved this place! Decor is cozy and fun! Service was excellent. This was our first stop after settling into hotel upon arrival. Great breakfast/brunch! The scrambled eggs were so good and the bacon was delicious and more like ham slices. The hot chocolate was amazing. The potatoes were really good. They were accommodating when my Daughter asked for plain pancakes and she enjoyed them. The pastrami sandwich was good. Even the mimosas were great! Highly recommend this restaurant. We were walking in the neighborhood and spotted this place. We were greeted at the door and were given the option to either dine outside, in the bar, or upstairs in their lounge. We opted for upstairs. The place has a warm vibe to it and played mostly Motown music while we were there. We sat at a table that was a bench on one side, chair on the other. Our waitress was over shortly after we were seated, presented us with menus, took our drink order, made a few recommendations and off she went. During our entire stay, she checked on us frequently and was polite and funny. Don't recall her name but she's originally from Brazil. We ordered Tapas, which were: Tandoori Seasoned roasted almonds - while tasty, there was just the slightest hint of Tandoori. Satay Chicken Skewers - Fanfuckingtastic! 3 pieces of chicken skewers with a side of coleslaw. Potatos Bravias - very good Not the best we've had while here, but still good. I've gone to Firebug twice so far during my trip, and I haven't ruled out going again. The first visit was for breakfast, I had the shakshuka which was lovely spicy. The second time I went for brunch, I tried the Turkish Eggs - OUT OF THIS WORLD GOOD!!!! I also had a cortado and mimosa (two mimosa actually...) and enjoyed them greatly. This place single handedly made my husband decide to like poached eggs. Wow! Service is very friendly, nice decor inside as well as outside tables. I came here with my friend on a rainy Sunday in Barcelona and we were not disappointed. As in Europe brunch is uncommon, we were very lucky to find a place with great options for brunch. I absolutely couldn't decide between 4 different entrees for brunch so I asked the waiter about his opinion and we were able to narrow it down to the final 2. Alas I decided on huevos rancheros because I have actually never had them before and to say I was happy with them would be an understatement. They were amazing, slightly spicy but nothing I couldn't handle. My friend ordered a chorizo dish and a mimosa. The prices were good for brunch prices and the service was fantastic, they even spoke english. I have recommended this to a few friends now who are visiting Barcelona in the future. This was the first place we stopped when we hit Spain. First of all, it was so nice to get a reasonably sized coffee after a week in France. Loved France, but I don't know how those people survive on such tiny cups of coffee. Service was great. The staff downstairs communicated with the upstairs and in the kitchen via earbuds. This made the place run like a well oiled machine. We arrived in time for brunch, and I know I'm running the risk of sounding like a BWG, but their avocado toast was out of this world. Mine was Mediterranean, and my daughter's was another lacto-ovo vegetarian toast. I'm actually getting hungry again just thinking about it. They have their menus in multiple languages, have a fantastic ambiance, and did I mention their food and drinks were to die for? My friends and I came here twice last week and once the food was divine and the second time the food was alright. We were also being served by different waiters and the second waiter had a lot of difficulties taking our orders (we were a group of 10 people and she had pen and paper..). However their juices are freshly made and always satisfying. I can really recommend the orange juice and the coffee. We came to the conclusion that all the salty food is truly delicious no matter what you order but when trying the pancakes your in for a quite a surprise because the base is mixed with so much cinnamon that the pancake is one big chewy something that tastes rather bitter than sweet. So my suggestion is to skip the pancakes and go on to the salty things on the menu, good thing they have a big selection. read more

Visited this spot for breakfast 2 times while visiting Barcelona. Between myself and my friends we had a couple of the bagel offerings, Mediterranean toast, French toast, cappacinos, the green juice and pancakes. Stand outs were Mediterranean toast and French toast. All the drinks were really good as well. The staff was very friendly, which was not the case everywhere we visited in Barcelona and the food was outstanding. I was tired after a long day of walking around the city, and boy was this place just perfect. I was able to get a table for one within minutes and the servers were incredibly prompt and nice. I'm a vegetarian and they had an amazing dish with three different types of dip and pita bread with honey and quinoa. It was meant for two, but I finished it all! They had an amazing selection of drinks. The only downside was that they ran out of tiramisu, but the environment, servers, and food was exceptional! The huevos came with salty wonderful tortilla chips. The portions were very big in relation to the tapas culture of Barcelona. I wouldn't recommend it for lite bites. We were super stuffed after brunch & welcomed the walk around the city afterward. We sat at bistro tables outside in the warm sun, it was very nice to sit for a while & take our time eating. I much prefered the huevos rancheros to the fry up, it was savory and had the perfect portion size. The restaurant is quaint and has comfy seating. Its not too crowded on weekday mornings. Came here for dinner a few days ago. We had the drunken shrimp, chicken wings, ceviche, and a few glasses of the house red. Everything was incredible!
