I hired DrawerDash to move two 50-inch TVs from a temporary storage location to my new apartment. Before DrawerDash picked them up, the TVs had been moved by a DIFFERENT moving company and stored at a friend's home for approximately one week. I personally inspected both TVs with my friend before DrawerDash moved them, and **there was no damage.** During that week, the TVs were not moved or used. My friend is older, her husband has limited mobility, and they do not have children, so there was no one there moving or handling the TVs. DrawerDash then transported the TVs to my new apartment. After their delivery, I discovered that **both TVs were damaged.** What is most frustrating is that the TVs were not documented or inspected for pre-existing damage before DrawerDash took possession of them. I contacted DrawerDash expecting them to investigate the situation and work with me toward a fair resolution. Instead, I was offered **$100 TOTAL for two 50-inch TVs.** I find that offer extremely disappointing and completely inadequate considering the circumstances. I am not claiming that I personally witnessed exactly when or how the damage occurred. What I can say is that I personally inspected both TVs immediately before DrawerDash moved them, they were undamaged at that time, they were not handled by anyone else while in storage, and the damage was discovered after DrawerDash's delivery. I would have appreciated DrawerDash taking accountability for investigating the situation and offering a fair resolution rather than making a $100 offer for two damaged televisions. **If you use DrawerDash, I strongly recommend taking detailed photos and video of every valuable item immediately before the movers take possession of it and documenting its condition in writing.**

I chose Firehouse Movers because of their glowing Google reviews, and their initial estimate was very competitive. Unfortunately, the final bill was a complete shock. To begin with, they insisted on a virtual estimate and refused to come out in person and assess the job. This was a 5000 sq ft home full of furniture, and I wanted the most accurate estimate possible. I asked multiple times for an in-person estimate, but my requests were declined. By moving day, I had sold two-bedroom sets and several other large pieces of furniture that were included in the original estimate. Even with significantly fewer items to move, the final price was more than double the original estimate. On the day of the move, I somehow went from needing two trucks, as stated in the estimate, to four. And from 9 to 17 total man hours. At the end of a long day, my husband just wanted them gone, so he reluctantly paid the bill before they could log anymore hours. When I called to discuss the bill, Firehouse claimed I had verbally approved the additional associated costs over the phone, citing a recording, which was completely false. I have asked multiple times for this recording, but I have not received it. That was not a small miscalculation. Our move was grossly underestimated. This whole experience felt misleading and dishonest. Stay away.

Before the move, we packed up most of the things ourselves, but Phoenix offered to have some of their office staff pack up the fragile items like dishes and art work on an hourly rate. This really helped! On the day of the move, they were on time and they brought in 10 people to pack the van and get us on our way quickly. When they moved us, they did not consolidate and transfer our things to another van, our things stayed in the same van until it reached its final destination. When they unpacked, they were very professional and efficient. To summarize, we had a great experience moving with Phoenix Express and I would highly recommend them for anyone to move with!

Due to financial constraints, I decided to store my things locally for now while I relocated. I'm someone who's huge on reviews (non-incentivized) and personal experiences people have with a company or product, so Einstein caught my eye. From the first conversation with the representative when I called, I knew I was in good hands. The conversation was calm, every step was explained, emails and communication was fluid thru moving day. The truck was much bigger than I was expecting as well as the ramp placement at the side of the truck vs the rear which made me nervous, but luckily we were able to make it work in my apartment complex. Sully and Kenan were friendly and understanding overall. Asked questions along the way as needed, and took some of the stress away from what typically comes with a moving day (especially when it comes to this being my first time moving things into a storage unit). I do have to note that the move may have finished sooner had one movers not been out of commission by his lunch choice longer than expected... Also, seeing the feet of my couch during the move has me a bit nervous about how they'll look when I remove my furniture from the unit. From a few feet away when I saw them on the cargo elevator and being placed into the unit, they seemed like they were angled and scratched a bit from positioning during transport. The email after my move stated that I can inform them if I notice any damages, whenever it may be, so I'll have to do a thorough check when I next access or move-out of the unit. Other than that, I would for sure use them again, possibly even for when it's time for that move-out.
