The CUTEST little spot in Ft Wayne. First the food was incredible, I got the crossiant breakfast sandwich and my bf got the sourdough biscuit with veggie sausage patty (I am kicking myself now bc his sammy was incredible and what I would get if we went back) we also had a piece of their lemon poppy loaf and best loaf I've ever had, hands down. My coffee was also pretty good, I got an iced Americano with a splash of almond milk and a pump of ghirardelli caramel bc why not and bf chose from their giant selection of tea (biggest loose leaf tea menu I've ever seen at a coffee shop. They were both good drinks Service was great too, they were slammed but the ladies working were doing a great job and very polite ! Side note there is an AWESOME mural of an owl on the side of the building you should check out if you're into that kinda thing .. and patio seating is great ! The disturbing part for me was the naked faries painted in the ladies room - like, vagina naked. I also expected really polite service since no one else was in line. My favorite coffee place EVER! I'm not even from Fort Wayne and I have to say, I wish I had a place like this near me. There are no cozy coffee shops like this in my area so I'm forced to go to corporate chains (ahem, Starbucks). I love to support this local business whenever I come into town... I probably hit up Firefly at least twice a day! I used to be obsessed with their Zebra Mocha, then it was the Turtle Latte... then my sister-in-law tells me they have coffee ice cubes and I was like "Say what!?" Now my go-to drink is an Iced Soy Caramel Latte with Coffee Ice Cubes-- make that a VENTI! My mother-in-law also ships me Firefly's Scotcharoos... I think I may have a problem? Like other reviewers have said before me, Firefly Coffee House is great. It has the cool atmosphere. Great espresso. Fresh fruit smoothies. A decent selection of food to have as a meal and tasty desserts. The wifi is excellent. My husband and I have been here a few times, and we've never had to ask one of the workers to reset it. That is my biggest pet-peeve with a lot of places advertising free wifi. Many of them have slow, spotty or almost non-existent wifi. You can either sit at colorfully painted two-person tables, relax in their couch area in the back or outside on their deck with or without the table umbrellas up. You know it's a good coffee house when they attract a wide-variety of customers. From poor students to business people to small families to the affluent. Firefly also has fun stuff to buy from T-shirts to Firefly mugs to greeting cards to knickknacks. The only issue my husband and I have with this coffeehouse is that it changed its hours during the summer so it closes at 8 p.m. seven days a week. During the winter months, it's open 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 9 p.m. Sundays. Since arriving in Northeast Indiana, my husband and I have been on the hunt for a coffeehouse that meets the standards of what we constantly experienced while in Austin. Except for closing hours, Firefly does that. We're willing to drive the 45 miles to get here. read more

This coffee house patio alone is worth a visit. The patio section right in front of the coffee shop is a breathtaking oasis filled with a beautiful atmosphere and fresh breath of green air. Beautiful picture OP or a place to chill with a drink or to take someone who's a lover of garden or plants. It's in a shopping center with a nice lil health food store that's closed on Sundays. I had the vegan sausage (quinoa patty) that I would have liked a lil browner, less steamed and some flavour maybe served with a side sauce to just make it more appealing or if you appreciate a basic sausage sandwich then this is it too! Not complaining just suggestions for the vibe! :o) ..also vegan cheese option would've been appreciated to. You have a choice of bread and I thought it was served with lettuce and tomato, and even though the cashier recommended spinach and that's what we decided, I got neither just the sausage and tomatoe. Nonetheless ,I recommend visiting while out in the fort. Also check out their bulletin board when entering or exiting the store. read more

It's a solid 4 every time I visit. Staff is friendly and attentive. The menu is vast and fresh. I love the PB mocha shake, it is my go to! fun fact: I met my soon-to-be wife here as well. This is within walking distance of our home and is one of the two coffee places we love to frequent in the '05. there is a great outdoor area to sit and relax outside, and ample space inside. They are also pet-friendly in the outdoor area as well. (our dog likes the bird sanctuary) They are about to add a whole bunch of new items so if you haven't been here in a while, pop in and ask about the new additions! read more

We moved to the area and I've been wanting to try this place out. It's your perfect local coffee shop. It has comfy chairs and couches along with plenty of tables. It's got a great hang loose vibe. There are so many different coffee drinks to choose from. I just got a house brewed coffee in a REAL mug. I appreciate that. *comfortable chairs *real mugs *nice and patient workers I can't speak to the food but they have sandwiches, soup, salad and baked goods(from their own kitchen). I was disappointed that there were no vegan/plant based options in the food. That's the reason for the 4 stars and not 5. They did have Plant based milk options. I'm not sure if they cost more. Oh I found it...yes they do charge extra (which is bothersome) .65, .85, and 1.05...I'm not sure why places think this is acceptable. It doesn't cost that much more for plant based milk. When I travel I prefer to support local businesses and see the offerings of the local community I'm in. I read the great Yelp reviews and decided to stop on for my morning coffee. Sadly, I left disappointed. The biggest issue was the customer service. The two ladies working were rather rude and seem annoyed I didn't know what I wanted immediately, despite being one of two people in the entire place. Instead of offering a recommendation I just got the death stare until I hurried up and ordered. I ended up trying the vanilla but latte which is basically vanilla and hazelnut. It was a good latte. I also got a gluten free peanut butter chocolate chip cookie for an afternoon snack, which was extremely good! But sadly the poor customer service really made me not want to spend my money here again. I wish businesses especially small businesses) would understand the value in treating your customers well, whether they are regulars or first timers. read more

Firefly Coffee House is located in one of my favorite strips of FW - the North Anthony Corridor. This section of town has really grown in the past few years and some great local businesses have moved in. This used to be one of my go-to spots for studying while in college - ATTN: IPFW Students - this place is a lot more comfy than the library. I usually just opt for an iced coffee or a hot, black coffee. Nothing fancy. Recently one of the employees (male, dark hair, glasses) made me the best tea ever! I was looking for a little boost but not too much before my 6:45pm yoga class. He mixed together a few and it was phenomenal! He even said if I hated it he would come up with another concoction. Service is on point here clearly! They offer some smaller sandwiches and snacks as well. Outdoor space is big! Bigger than I think any coffee shop in FW. Very cozy inside & out! read more

As many reviews have already said, the staff here are amazing! Very polite, friendly, and helpful. I am currently on a Keto diet, and their milk alternatives were awesome! I was able to get almond milk in my Flat White, and Stevia instead of sugar. It is easily the best Flat White I've had in Fort Wayne. If you are in the area of South Anthony, or you are just looking for a better alternative to Starbucks I would highly recommend making a visit. read more

A cool hangout/meeting coffee shop in Fort Wayne that has an eclectic homey vibe. They serve food okay food items. Their desserts are pretty great and their drinks a numerous. I remember my first time there I was a bit overwhelmed but the staff is pretty patient. They also have specialty drinks that change constantly. Their February drinks are very valentines based and have some punny names to them. I have come here to do work before and it seems a bit too busy for me to focus but I know a lot of people who come here and get work done just fine. This is definitely a great spot for meetings though. I've had a few for my job even. I also see tons of people coming here to catch up with friends. The staff was super sweet and friendly. They also offer free wifi and plenty of seating. I stopped in on a cold Saturday morning for a hot drink and breakfast. I decided to try a seasonal special, so I went with a peppermint chocolate chai. It was a tad bit too sweet for my liking being that I am a coffee drinker. But I enjoyed something different! I wanted somewhere to have a light lunch and relax for a bit in the middle of a seven-hour drive, and Fort Wayne was about the midpoint. Thanks to Yelp Search, I found this cute little joint, which sure beat the hell out of highway fast food. Friendly service + a wide selection of lunch items and cafe drinks + the standard, eclectic functional and comfortable mix of coffee-house furniture = stamp of approval. I had a thai wrap with chicken, very good. I walked out with a sugar-free vanilla chai latte, also very good. I debated between that and one of the fruit smoothies, but it was a cold day.
