I had to do the job myself (replace the belt tensioner) but it was not an easy job without a lift. I found that a nut was frozen and the bracket was bent as a result. They failed to replace the plastic cover panel. I asked for it later by phone but Mike pretended to not remember and said I had the wrong number. Definitely the right number and right person. Kevin. promised that the vehicle will be as good as new and if I notice anything wrong, it's because they've done something wrong. After a lengthy battle with the insurance company to provideJoe's with all OEM parts and all the funds needed to repair my truck correctly. Joe's failed to install the parts correctly. The bumper was completely misaligned. The sensors did not work. The welds are horrible and the quarter was welded in the wrong place , the tail light does not fit in its place. I had a horrible experience with Kevin trying to get my truck corrected. Joe's made a serious mistake, and after two more attempts of trying to get it corrected, I realized that there was no way this shop was capable or wanted to repair my truck correctly. There's just absolutely no quality control in the shop. This was a very expensive project. I'm so disappointed because I did everything I could to provide Joe's with the best parts and all the funds that they needed . attached our photos of the repair after the third attempt . this was a very expensive repair!!

Instead of buying a new van (because the interior looks very good, only 88,000 miles and it runs great), my husband and I decided to get it painted. Well, how fortunate for us that we found Spike. He suggested a white pearl color instead of repainting it red. What? I thought the most practical thing would be to repaint the same color but we trusted Spike every step of the way. The initial quote increased but that was because of the premium paint that I chose and some other issues. We still feel that what we paid was worth every penny. Spike is a perfectionist. Work requested: Brought my car here to have some decades-old, sun-damaged paint protection film…read moreremoved. I was able to remove a section of this myself (without any damage, mind you) but it was just taking too long so I decided to take it to a shop. I was told when I got the estimate that they could damage the paint in the process, which may lead to a need for repainting. We said we'd cross that bridge when we got to it. Timeline: Dropped the car off May 14th, was promised back May 16th, or May 19th at the latest. 3-5 days. Late completion: They had the car for a week and never called to say it was running late. I finally dropped by to check on it, discussed the little bit of progress they'd made. I said I was patient and just wanted it done right and to avoid painting it. I didn't get the car back until the 2nd week of June, nearly a month after dropping it off. Outcome: When I went to pick it up they told me they'd painted it. I never OK'd this, but they did it for free so I guess that's ok? The paint job looks pretty bad. It's not blended in, there's a huge streak across the hood. You can see the line from the film they were supposed to remove, painted over. So they never really finished the job I paid them for, but they did paint over it all at no charge to me. My objections to the condition the car was returned in have been met by the refutation that it looks much better (they also detailed the car, which I appreciate). Which, yeah, it does, it also has a paint job that looks like it belongs on a salvage title car at a buy-here-pay here lot. The door handles on my car were damaged when sanding or polishing. It's evident a rotary tool wore the chrome off the corners. The manager of the shop bought me new handles out of his own pocket (I didn't realize, or misunderstood he was doing this at the time), seemingly because he didn't think the shop itself would make this right, despite it being their work that caused it. Additionally, the finish of the headlights on my car were damaged, looks like some some kind of chemical, and another spot maybe from masking tape being pulled off. I dropped this topic because it was pretty clear they were going to charge me to do anything else, even if it was fixing damage caused by them. I want to give my thanks to the detailer who cleaned the inside, the car has never looked better. Otherwise, I wish I had never brought my car here and had just done it myself.
