There was no pressure in paying upfront or holding up playtime until payment was complete. The payment link was shared and I was able to pay via phone during our 90 min session. There is no background music which felt like it was missing, but I do understand that it can be overstimulating for some children. There are three play rooms, each holding different things. Obviously, it's a no shoe place and there are provided cubbies for your personal belongings. There is an adult lounge and a kitchen with long tables for snack time or parties. While I understand being inclusive to all ages, I wonder if it would be beneficial for the kids to have a specific time slots for specific age groups? Even if it's just for a little bit. There some very little toddlers with bigger toddlers in the mix and gently reminding the bigger kids to be aware of the smaller kids or redirecting the smaller kids to something else can be.... idk what the word is. Also, there are some play mats that are slippery because it's not a matte/foam finish. But either give your kid some grippy socks or take their socks off completely to solve the issue. Anyway, besides that, there's lots of different toys to keep your kiddo(s) entertained, no matter the age. A great venue for an intimate birthday party too. 90 min is plenty of time for free play. Our 15 month old hit the 60 min mark and started losing her marbles haha.

They offer a variety of classes for multiple age groups, open gym hours, and more. I would do some research ahead of time matching your kiddos age ranges with the weekly schedule ~ our drop-in was around $20. I'm sure there are monthly rates and/or memberships, but we wanted to check it out first to see what the gym entailed. The staff is incredible nice, the families/kiddos who come are great, and I appreciate the open space format conducive to safe exploration and play. There does have to be a guardian present at all times, or at least for our time slot there does :) Equipment-wise, we were very impressed. This is most def a super-elevated Gymboree (or for us, the next step!). I'm not a gymnast so not sure the technical terms for the equipment, but from our fist time I noticed the open mat, climbing blocks, trampoline, foam pit, mini balance beams, rings, and more. For the kiddos, they get stamps at the end of the hour long sesh and fun music is played throughout. A trainer is present too. Overall, we will def come back again soon. There is safe parking adjacent to the building, and can't beat grabbing a few items/gas/snacks at Costco before or after class. Happy we have a space in the East Bay like this. Bravo!

The Costco hotdog was $4 and the local Mare Island Brewing Co. beer was $5. It was a fun experience and if you have any interest in baseball or even if you don't this is worth checking out. If you go on a Saturday night game in summer you may want to sit in the right field bleachers because it's less windy and you'll get the sun until sundown.
