Normally I have no issues with this location and the food is great. This time was different. I placed an online order and included a pic of that order. I ordered 3 Italian sandwiches. One was regular as it comes. One had added veggies including bell pepper and black olives and one had added veggies minus bell pepper and black olives. My kiddos love black olives and raw bell peppers and I do not. Not even a little bit. I wish I did but bleh and yuck. Get home and welp. Both of the customized sammiches were made exactly the same. Lots of those detested black olives and bell peppers ON BOTH SAMMICHES!! And yes, I know it's sandwiches but I'm from Memphis and I say sammiches. Same as I apparently say warsh for wash. So I type phonetically so ppl can read in my Memphis accent mmkay? So anyway, lemme continue. So I tried to call but it was 9:02 and apparently they skedaddle on outta there promptly at 9. I wish same efficiency, promptness and attention to minute details had been applied to my sammich because I could not and did not eat mine. There were way too many undesirable items to try and pluck them off plus they leave that weird gross black olive taste on everything. Because I'm considered middle aged and I'm also a mom of kids ages 31 to 12, I feel the need to do this as a life lesson for the youngsters who probably made my sammich and failed to pay attention to details. Like failed to actually read the order slip and make 2 different customized sammiches rather than just do a quick glance over and assume that both were the same. This is a very important trait that needs to be improved on for life in the real world. I am a big advocate of equipping our youngsters with the tools they will need to succeed in the harsh reality of the adult world especially nowadays. Paying attention to details is a very very very important skill and one that should already be acquired by the time someone is old enough to be working at a paying job. I recently had a very disappointing experience at the Firehouse Subs location in Bryant, AR (3108 Horizon Drive #8). My friend and I placed a Grubhub order and went to the restaurant to pick it up. Unfortunately, the service we received was far from acceptable. Upon entering the store, we waited to be acknowledged, and when a staff member named Kelly finally assisted us, her attitude was immediately hostile. Despite being polite, we were met with rudeness and frustration from Kelly, who seemed annoyed by our simple request to pick up our order. When we showed her the Grubhub app for confirmation, she repeatedly asked for more information without clarifying what she needed, which only added to the confusion. The situation escalated when Kelly began making faces and stormed off to "cool down," leaving us feeling as if we were being treated like criminals. To make matters worse, the General Manager, who was present, did nothing to deescalate the situation or assist us. The environment became so toxic that we decided to leave without even receiving the drinks and chips we had ordered. We were also falsely accused of taking photographs of the staff, which was untrue and unnecessary. When we asked to speak with the manager, we were again met with hostility and a dismissive attitude. As someone who frequently promotes Arkansas as a top destination for both residents and tourists, I was deeply concerned by this experience. The unprofessional and antagonistic behavior of both Kelly and the General Manager was shocking, and I cannot recommend this location to others. This experience has left me unwilling to return, and I will certainly be sharing it with friends, family, and colleagues. After doing some research I found out that Kelly (lead) is the mother of the General Manager. Staff have reported that these outbursts are common and that its embarrassing and makes them feal uncomfortable. They also report that nothing ever happens because of their personal relationship. Are there not protections for that within Human Resources in Firehouse Subs? Upon reaching out to corporate and avoiding put this all over social media I was met with back-handed responses and nothing from management or the owners. I was not looking for a handout but more for an explanation on why the staff and general public have to put up with this. After speaking to several staff they all are uncomforatble with Kelly. I do not reccomend this location at all. While I do enjoy Firehouse Subs and the other brands in the management company, this one should be avoided until change is made. read more

Just had firehouse delivered. Still good sandwiches. Had a buy one get one deal so $17 for delivery on a Saturday was a steal. I only wish there was a way to ask them to include the fire sauce so we could have enjoyed our sandwiches with that signature firehouse sauce. read more

Placed an online togo order at 6:46pm for a pickup time of 7:15pm. Didn't receive our order (1 med sub, 1 kids meal) until 8pm. We waited in the pick up line/spot for 45 minutes- and this is what my toddlers grilled cheese consisted of, cold bread and a slice of cheese, no side/ treat that came with the meal. Been to this location twice since moving here. Rude staff and can't get the order right even when we are right in front of them. DoorDashing them isn't great either as they blame DoorDash for orders being wrong when I'm pretty sure DoorDash doesn't prepare the food lol read more

Huge disappointment--ordered online bc was driving from TN to LA and wanted a quick, relatively healthy stop. Order was supposed to be ready 20 min later. I got there 30 min later and they told me they didn't have any provolone cheese--I said no problem use whatever. I waited another 10 min and asked someone, and they said my order was 3rd in line. I said how is that possible I ordered 40 min ago. They didn't even start on our order until we got there and put us at the end of a long, slow line of orders! Drove back up to window and just asked for them to refund my money and was told by the manager on duty that he doesn't know how and I would have to call customer service. Well this was delicious. A lot of the sandwiches sound similar, but trust what they have is good. The bf only gets the Smokehouse Beef and cheddar brisket. He loves it with all his heart. Every clogged artery of it. Do your best not to look at the calorie chart online. It is shocking. I think the highest I saw was 1300 calories. How is that possible? I did realize if you hold the cheese and mayo you can save 400 calories. That's pretty significant. I've also realized I eat like calories don't exist in Arkansas, so I kept the cheese and used light mayo when I got home on my Engineer sub. Please don't eat here. Came in on a Friday night, there were maybe 4 other parties already seated in the restaurant and one person ahead of us in line. It still took them 15 minutes to make 2 meatball subs and a salad. There was no ice in the drink machine and they could do nothing about that except say, oh, sorry. My salad was absolutely inedible and I threw it away. The lettuce was wilted and brown and the ham tasted spoiled. Dirty restaurant and slowest staff I've ever encountered. Went there today to grab lunch, ordered online, and went to pick it up. Sat in the drive thru for ten minutes. Two staff members looked at me several times but neither came to the window to acknowledge I was there. Then after 10 minutes I had to honk my horn to get someone to the window. When the lady came to the window she was visibly mad at me and asked for my name and immediately got my order. My problem is this, busy or not, short handed or not, acknowledging your customers is simple and free. It's any easy way to ease wait times and frustrations. But ignoring your customer makes things worse. The manager came to the window and when I explained my issue I was met with we are short handed and I was blown off. I'm giving this a four star rating for two reasons first off these are really good sandwiches I had the New York steamer! The young lady who took our order seemed to careless. Throughout our time there I noticed she was eating at the register and actually delivered food to a table with a mouth full. There was only one person I noticed actually working, the young lady that was refilling and cleaning seemed to have plenty of time to get our cups and to ask us if everything was ok and if we needed anything. As a food service manager it seriously riled me to see one person doing the work while the others basically hung out, that's the second reason I'm giving a four Star because of the one young lady working by herself! Even tho it was Mothers' Day, my dad picked this restaurant since the more "Mom-ish" restaurants nearby were crowded (Cracker Barrell, Ruby Tuesday, etc). We have a Firehouse Subs in Midland & used to love the food there. The problem was, for lunch on Sunday there was no room to sit. I liked how this FS location is bigger & a lot less crowded. We also got here before it got pretty busy. One problem I had was that the restroom is only a 1-seater, & I had to wait for 2 other people before I could get in there, & that was before it got busy! The 3 of us could eat for $28.03, which is a reasonable price. I ordered the Veggie Sub, which wasn't displayed on a visible menu, but I knew it existed because I ordered it in the Midland location all the time. I usually get it as a medium-size, with wheat bread, all the veggies, cheese, & mushrooms included. I also got chips (Doritos, cool ranch) & a drink (some berry-flavor I selected from the drink fountain screen--which I always thought was a neat way to have so many drink options that don't have to take up much space) with it. I've been here several times now and the food is always excellent. The service is fast and friendly. Easy access off Interstate 30. Specialty sandwiches move from traditional favs to the more clever or adventurous. Amazing array of hot sauces. Now we have one in FoCo. I plan to frequent it often. read more

The two kids that made the subs goofed off for the 15 minutes it took to make our sandwiches. Plus, they put pickle on the sandwiches despite the instructions not to do so, and put so much sauce and mayonnaise on my wife's sandwich that she couldn't eat it. So I go in a buy a Fully involved Italian sub. No one else is ahead of me and no one in the drive thru. 5 minutes later they call my name and I get my sandwich. It is white bread with lettuce and tomato that's it. Nothing else. I walk back up and say, there is something missing. No one could tell me what was missing, so I had to point out there was no meat. Oh, well....... Then they proceed to argue over who's fault it was. I move to the side and 3 minutes later I get the same sandwich back with a little meat on it. Not every kind of meat that is supposed to be on it. I say, what about the sauce and other stuff. Well that's an Italian sub, is their response. I say, I payed for a fully involved. Well....... Nevermind, have a good day. I take my sandwich and leave. I would have asked for the management but the first guy said he was, so that would have been a waist of time. Place dirty. Most tables look dirty or thy look clean but are sticky. Drink station is nasty. Had one kids hat left (figured into cost of kids meal instead of a toy). Only one left. Had black stuff all over where you put your head and was sticky. I had to wash it. Not short staffed as I count 5 employees at 2:30 pm. Staff very unhelpful. Don't plan on coming back. read more

Giving this review 2 stars instead of one because of prior visits we did not encounter these issues. Change in management? Not sure. We we walked in there wasn't anyone in front of us, 6 employees we standing behind counter having conversation. We were not greeted and stood there awkwardly staring at the employees chatting and laughing for 5 - 8 min. We almost left but decided to wait it out, finally someone took our order. Then we sat down waiting on our order, 10 -15 min went by. They asked name for my order so i assumes they would call it out when order was finished. Our backs were turned to the expo line, our food sat up there and got cold. Finally I see sandwiches up there asked employee if they were ours, he said yea my bad tried to get someone to run that. All that was needed was my name called out. Then i asked where the pickle spear was and he said sorry we are out. As a manager i would go buy them from the store if your out of anything. Then go to get hot sauces and I counted 8 empty bottles that need to be thrown away and all the others were crusty on top because they haven't been cleaned. We leaving I asked if business was corporate or private owned and they said corporate. If so that store needs some attention and employees need retrained, it's hurting your brand. Earlier today me and my husband stopped at this location!! There was little kids running all over the restaurant. You could tell they were employee kids. They were going in and out of the kitchen and food prep area. Playing with the soda machine. We witness one child go to the bathroom and had an accident. A lady not in a firehouse uniform to the soiled clothes into the kitchen area. At this point we lost our appetites and left. I called the restaurant to let them know how inappropriately and disgusting it was seeing what we saw. She acted (the supervisor) it was no big deal. I told her that if the health department or OSHA came in they would get in serious trouble. She said "yeah I know. Thank you! And hung up on me. I walked into firehouse today(01-07-18) and I noticed it was one of the most disgusting restaurants I have ever been to. I would have rather eaten at a gas station. All the workers were so rude. Especially the so called "manager." It all started when I simply tried to call in an order. The workers would answer the phone and say "please hold" before I could say anything. This happened at least 4 to 5 times. When I went to pick up my sandwich, I waited in line for at least 20 minutes at the window, before deciding to go in. My sandwich ended up being soggy and had tomatoes on it, when I specifically asked for tomatoes not to be on there. Overall, my trip was horrible and I do not plan on going back. I would expect these things from subway. I hope these things will improve in the future because my past couple visits have not been satisfactory. read more
