But if you liked grind chicken strips - it's really good and the fresh squeezed lemonade is also awesome! We enjoy their fried and Cole slaw too - as well as the Texas Toast. The last time I was there - a young man was working the cash register and taking orders. He was polite and friendly and did an excellent job. A teenage student and his friend entered the line and snickered and laughed and poked fun at the cashier - seemingly acting as if they were better than the cashier and as if the "working class" guy at the register was deserving of being made fun of. I was offended at the actions of the customer in front of me - but I was extremely impressed by the cashier who kept his composure and was polite in the face of the sarcastic customer who was inappropriate. I admired both the professionalism and the obvious management training and preparation that had been done to help teach the cashier how to respond and move on without allowing himself to be tripped up by such poor customer behaviors. Way to go to the excellent customer service and great food!

Once cooled off they were still so crispy and crunchy and the least bit greasy. They gave us plenty of sauce and ketchup too. Without saying, everything was a hit! Sorry, but I am not going to use a touch screen to order that is covered in germs and boo-gers from who knows. The lovely young lady who finally appeared from the kitchen was super friendly and took our order. When the food arrived it was very delicious. I am in love with the spicy ketchup. But I do understand why the Burger King across the street is far busier.

It's a burger joint. Better than McDonald's, but not quite up to par with Sonic or Burger King. Other than the novelty options like the Sweet & Spicy Bacon Burger, I couldn't see (or taste) anything spectacular enough to make the place stand out. I DID order the S&S burger, and it WAS tasty, but it looked like a dang mess. Overloaded with condiments and toppings (which I normally appreciate), but served in a bun that couldn't handle that much pressure. I opted for the onion rings, and I gotta say, those saved the day. Made with real rings and not minced onion, the tasty o-rings were cooked to crisp, golden perfection. So good I didn't even need sauce. Deep flavor and soft insides, all I could ask for. I think we paid close to $25 for two combos, that was pretty steep for average sized combos even by today's standards, but still worth trying once if you never have. The place was quiet, but also pretty empty. We were there around 2:00 on a Saturday and were joined by only one other couple. Kinda strange how dirty the tables were considering they weren't overcrowded or fighting their way through a lunch rush. Surveyed the area a little before we found a "clean" booth which I had to wipe off myself before sitting anyway. The food was delivered to the table, that was a nice touch, and the staff were friendly and patient. Remember, we had never been to a Whataburger, so it took us a minute to decide. Based on the pricing, the uncleanliness, and her entree, my wife doesn't ever want to go back. She had a grilled chicken sandwich that didn't impress her any, but she's a picky, PICKY eater so I never consider her opinion in my reviews. I do though. I get it; everybody has off days. We may have come at the wrong time. Plus, I've still gotta try the Avocado Bacon Burger. I know the pictures are misleading (EVERYWHERE!), but that thing looks delicious! All in all, if you're a fan: keep going. If you've never been: try it at least once. You may have a better experience than I did.

Founded in 1962 by American entrepreneur Glen Bell, the chain has more than 7,000 locations (Including 915 Greenwood Road, Fort Smith, Arkansas and over 350 franchisees worldwide. Its commitment to branding and its changing product lineup have made it one of the most accessible and unique fast-food restaurant chains. In the current times, it has become a place where families go to enjoy their meal, be with their children and have fun. A year ago, I had an opportunity to buy into stock belonging to Taco Bell. I did so because I believed that Taco Bell industries represented more to a community than any other company, as it targeted the youth and helped those that needed help through their Taco Bell Foundation. The Company stood for something, represent something, and always strived to better itself, and to further the community as a whole. I had an opportunity to see what a managerial worker at Taco Bell located at 915 Greenwood Avenue in Fort Smith, Arkansas thought of the company or its values. I am curious if during her rant, whether she ever thought of how her actions would affect others. Taco Bell has Principles, Values and they stand for something! Our HUNGRY principles reflect Taco Bell values and what we stand for. Helpful We serve others with an "I can do that" attitude. We aim to surprise and delight and resolve issues respectfully and compassionately. Understanding We strive to understand and deliver on the needs of our customers, each other and business partners. Never Settle We aim to make the customer experience better at every visit and always stay true to our core value of serving safe, high-quality food that's craveable and affordable. Grateful We say thank you and mean it. We are passion-ate about appreciating what makes each of us unique to each other and our customers. Relentless We strive to be the best at everything we do and we don't let anything get in the way of doing what is right. We make sure everyone feels welcome and included. Youthful Spirit We are an active part of our communities. We believe in all people, are inspired by tomorrow's leaders and help them pursue their passions and dreams. Sadly during a recent visit to 915 Greenwood Avenue in Fort Smith, Arkansas as a Door Dasher, I observed disturbing actions from a Manager that we placed in position that not only went against the policies of the company, but went in the very face of the values of this company and the true principles of the company. I entered the front of the lobby and there was multiple people standing around. One of which was a Dasher as well, waiting on an order. I stepped up to the counter informing the male (50-60 yrs old) that I was there for my Doordash order for DM. After a few minutes he comes to the front handing a rather large bag to the other dasher who then departed. After waiting several minutes, I stated that I was still waiting on the DM order. The guy at the counter tells me that he just gave that order to the other dasher. I explained that my DM's order only had one item, that it would not require a bag. The Female Manager (Unidentified by Taco Bell Corporate or Taco Bell Location) comes from the side drive through walking along the front the to the rear of the prep counter stating, "We will run our Shit back her and you can run that up there." At first, I was stunned. I stated, "Excuse me", and she stated it again! I asked her name as I was calling corporate offices, she refused to give that information to me. I left the store, unassigned the order, and called the corporation. Now. What will the corporate office do with that information? We are still waiting to find that out. My venture of guess is to believe that they will allow her to represent the company in that manner, and it will go unpunished, as they would rather employee workers that go against the values and principles of what the company represents, than have a shortage of team workers. I'll take the wait with great customer service vs the speed with rude people that have no values for themselves so they try to reflect their valuelessness onto the company and others, which not only affects the business, but community as a large.
