This is honestly the worst firehouse I've ever been to and I love firehouse. Don't count on anyone being friendly, they all have a piss poor attitude every time. I was in the mood for a type of deli sandwich, but I didn't want Subway or Jimmy John's, and I didn't know of any other sandwich places open on Friday night. I know they are subs, but I ordered the Engineer and it totally hit the spot. I think it was the combination of shredded lettuce and mayo that reminded me of a deli sandwich rather than a sub. I also had it toasted and I think that also made a big difference in the taste. We dined in and didn't have any issues with our order whatsoever. We were a total intrusion into their lives , I've been more happily welcomed by a wounded cobra. But customers was horrible no greeting when ordering food the employee kept looking at her phone I told her it was my first time coming here and I was looking at the menu. The employee stepped back. Went in today around 1:00. Myself, my husband and our 4 kids. We Loooooove Firehouse. This was our first time to this location and sadly probably our last. The man working the register was less than happy to be there. Which should have been my sign to just leave but everyone was Hangry. So, I ordered. Nothing over the top 3 very plain subs and two steamers. Our total was $59. The entire drink station was filthy which I would have understood had they been busy but we were the only people there. We finally get our sandwiches and all of them are wrong and very light on meat which isn't usual for a firehouse. The steamers had been overloaded with mayo and there was no trace of the Italian dressing it comes with. My kids only wanted meat, bread, mayo and mustard. Well we got no mayo or mustard. We ate anyway(except the two youngest because they can just be that way when it's not right). Then my youngest had to go to the bathroom and that was a hard NO!!! It was disgusting. Hoping this was a bad day and the guy at the counter was just having a bad day. But $59 for sandwiches with bad service and filthy conditions is just a hard no for me. read more

This was a major disappointment! Took a late lunch waiting for my husband to bring home my Firehouse Sub (New York Steamer to be exact). This was the most disgusting sandwich I have ever paid good money for. $22 for a Large Steamer and Large Steak and Cheese that both were basically thrown in the trash. They were like totally cold...I dont know how to really even describe it. The bread was like it was taken straight from the refrigerator and the sandwich made with cold bread and meat...but yet the cheese looked somewhat melted???? We order on their app several times a week. Food great and if you have their app you rack up points for free food. Now who can beat free food. We enjoy their side items as well. Had the best experience today, (Sep 14). The customer service was awesome, quick, and courteous. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to make my experience a very pleasant one. Food is fine, but service was horrible. We pulled up to the storefront and noticed two employees sitting on stools using their cell phones. The restaurant was empty and it was 8:05 pm, 55 minutes before closing time. As we were ordering, the cashier insisted that we take our food to go, because they had already cleaned up. By the time we were finished ordering and had our drink cups filled, it was 8:10. As we left, one of the employees went back to her stool and got back on her phone. So, by the time we got home, our food was lukewarm. We will most likely return, but definitely at a different time. The evening staff is pretty lazy and inhospitable. read more

01-22-2019. Placing our order was fine. We sat and waited and waited, while we waited a customer that came in after us, ordered his food, got his food and left with his food before we received ours. The employee apologized saying he had to remake one of our sandwiches. That's fine mistakes happen BUT ours should have been taken care of before the customer that ordered after us. My husbands sandwich was wrong, had lettuce on it and he had ordered hook and ladder with no lettuce. The employee took it back and just scraped the lettuce off, my husband still had to pick pieces of lettuce out of his sandwich. My sandwich, Club on a sub, had very little meat on it. I asked how many pieces of bacon come on the sandwich, I ordered extra, he said 2 and he put 4 on my sandwich. He said he put extra extra on there, "no you didn't" , you put what I ordered and paid for. He acted like he had put even more then I paid for on it, doing me a favor, not even close. I spoke with the manager who offered a free desert, we declined. I spoke to the District Manager, Iris Miller, she could not have cared less. She would "research" the incident and call me back. So, I take that to mean she does not believe what I have told her, no return call from her. The employees have had time to figure out their stories. Between the Greenville Store, McKinney store and sometimes the Rockwall Store, this was the absolute worse experience and sandwich I have had at a Firehouse Subs and will not be returning or recommending. read more
