The Chick-fil-A Greenville location is a disaster. The space is poorly laid out. The drive-through is a cluster. The parking lot is a hazard due to the drive through. The congregation around service counter, awaiting their refills of their big gulps and ice cream makes customer service chaos. While the food is on par with other chicken places in this town, I don't think it's worthy of a trip due to problems with inadequate the drive-through along with inadequate staffing. read more

I always get either the chicken sandwich, waffle fries & Diet Coke or I get their crunchy chicken salad. The food is always hot and tastes amazing. This time my kids sandwich was missing, it's one thing if it's mine but my kid can't sit here and watch us all eat. The longest wait any any chic fil a ever, they need someone out directing traffic or re-do their parking lot and give people more options to get out of the drive through because the problem is people are getting stuck in the drive through, after they have their food, because the drive through line is backed up in front of the only way out is blocked by the line to get in... it's the literal definition of a CF. No one will let people out of the line because the wait to get in to so long and if they stop to let vehicles out, a vehicle trying to get in will just jump in front and block them again because the line is so competitive, further exacerbating the problem, It's not a complicated fix. I think the LONG line in the driveway and inside speaks for itself. The food is always hot and made the way it's requested. Everyone working there is always very helpful and polite and there is always plenty of room for people to sit and enjoy their meal inside or outside. This Chick Fil A is between Starbucks and Cotton Patch Cafe. The food is on par with other Chick Fil A's, which is to say, excellent. It's not as busy as some, but the drive through does get backed up at times. Their lemonade is the best, and the peppermint chocolate chip shake is right up there, too. Just placed my order and was told "we don't have any lemonade." I asked how long it would be before they would have some and the manager on the speaker said with a chuckle, "oh a long time, HOURS. We haven't even started squeezing the lemons yet." There was no offer for accommodation. The manager, Logan, was standing there in a blue shirt at checkout and did not bother to turn in my direction to acknowledge me or anything. I've been to a lot of Chick-Fil-A's, and all of them have great food, service, are clean, etc., but this Chick-Fil-A, the Greenville, Texas one, is OUTSTANDING! I'm as socially liberal as they come, but political opinions aside, Chick-Fil-A has damn good food period; and every single time I visit this specific location, my food is fresh, hot, well-portioned, and just yummy good. The inside is spotless, too. (Not a shocker). Also... this Chick-Fil-A is located right off the hwy in a small, country, Northeast Texas town, so everyone is already nice, but the employees here... man, they must be taking daily Prozac or something because they are the absolute most upbeat humans I've ever come across. I'll occasionally drive 40 miles to this location just for a lemonade, solely because they will make your day. Not kidding. They are that happy. And one time this summer I had to wait an extra 5 minutes for my meal from the drive-thru line, literally just 5 minutes, it was no big deal at all, and the manager came to my car, apologized, and gave me free sandwich coupons.
