We made a quick stop for lunch on our way to the beach. The vibe was less cheerful than my usual Firehouse location. My sandwich still came out quickly. My order was correct. The place appeared clean except for the restroom. They are convenient to the highway and provided a quick lunch so I am satisfied. read more

Great place to stop on the way to / from the beach! It's a welcome change from regular fast food. Our sandwiches were fresh & tasty -- the service was friendly & efficient. This is really probably more of a 3, but I want to give them the benefit of the doubt because they had clearly just been mauled by a rush, and though we came in after it, there was just so much out of sorts that it wasn't a great experience. Anyone who goes to the beach during the summer knows that Saturdays are "changeover" day for all NC beach rentals, and Laurinburg is one of the few places that it makes sense to stop and have a meal along your route. It's not a big place, but every restaurant close to the highway gets slammed during lunch on Saturdays, and this particularly day for us was no exception. There were people everywhere when we came in, and most were just waiting for their food. There was not a line to order, and we were actually helped pretty much immediately. The cashier did his best to be upbeat even though it was clearly a hard day. We ordered an Italian and a roast beef club with chips and drink. We grabbed our chips, and going to get our drinks, the Coke freestyle machine was basically out of almost everything, even just standard Coca Cola. We settled for a mix of unsweetened tea and lemonade, best we could muster, and as a group got up we took their table. We waited a pretty long time for our sandwiches, probably 20 minutes. Again, being understanding that they were clearly dealing with the aftermath of a rush. When we got them, I am happy to say they were well put together. I didn't love the taste of mine, but that is partially my own fault. I forget that Firehouse steams their sandwiches, and that's not the way I like cold cuts. I usually get a hot sub at Firehouse, it just didn't click for me then. My wife was decently happy with hers. Overall, not gonna be my first choice for those trips between home and the beach in the future I think, even if it were a more normal experience. read more

Sub was fine but we waited for over 40 minutes for a sub and it wasn't crowded. Bathrooms also out of toilet paper and in disarray. Not worth the wait for sure. read more

unbelievable how rude the "shift supervisor" was when I returned with a bowl of chili which was dry and black. I asked her if she was embarrassed to serve something like that and her reply was no, I'm not the owner Laurinburg has plenty of fast food places but until they get workers who care about their jobs, it is not the place to get quality food. read more

If I could give it 0 stars I would. If you ever wonder why service is lacking, they're only as good as their manager who double-scheduled myself and another which I found out upon my arrival. The "manager" left and went home prior to us arriving and was a no-show. Did not bother to call and apologize for being so unprofessional and wasting not one persons time but TWO. Firehouse Subs - Fast Food Near Me - Laurinburg, North Carolina

I had been to one other Firehouse Subs franchise with good results. I ordered three large subs, of which they got ZERO correct upon inspection when I got home.. The ordering station was not open, and was told to go to the pick-up window to place the order. Ordered first sub (Large Meatball on white), but it had NO cheese. Second sub (large steak and cheese) was supposed to be on wheat, but was on white Meat was over-cooked, bland, very little cheese, very little onions, enough mustard for four sandwiches. Third sub ( Ham on wheat) was closest to correct, but was HONEY HAM. ( technically correct as advertised as being Honey ham) but was soggy through and through. All sandwiches were without pickles, as there was a paper note printed on the door. At least the chili was edible...Not THAT good, but edible. One of the staff knew me from working at another chain. At least SHE was nice. The shift manager seemed condescending and almost rude to other staff and to customers to a mild degree. It seems this store is often out of pickles... None of us ate even half of our sandwiches, and I took them to the country to give to the 'critters'. I could not give this franchise ZERO stars, which is more than was deserved. I will NOT return to THIS franchise. read more

I'm surprised how different this one is compared to the ones I've been too. the roll was a lot smaller, and my sandwich was soggy.

We were passing through on our way to the beach. We stopped in and Roshanda was so friendly and welcoming. The sandwiches were amazing and correct, so props to the ones that made them. They offer a drive thru for those that prefer it. Our order was done super fast and definitely recommend stopping in on your way through. (apologies if name is spelled wrong as well) read more

It took 25 minutes for them to make our two sandwiches. The music in the dining area was hard rock and too load.

It may be higher in price for Scotland county, but y'all the subs are delicious. I bought a large NY steamer for my grandpa and I to split and it was prefect. Folks remember inflation has hit restaurants too and this franchise will give back to your local fire department and EMT's with life saving equipment. read more

two of our sandwiches were made incorrectly. one with just the wrong bread, and the other a small instead of a regular (half the size). when I told the cashier of the mistake, she said they would make me another small to make it the size of the regular. that would have been fine, but they made the original sandwich wrong anyways. eventually, she offered to remake my sandwich but took the original one she gave me back (which, if you work in food service, is a NO!). anyways, they also added on a combo and an extra drink that we did not order to our bill. finally, the soda machine ONLY HAD DIET OPTIONS. it's one of those coca-cola free styles where you can choose any kind of soda, but having no regular options is obnoxious. read more
