I never really ate here until T-Mobile Tuesday kept on advertising it. So we gave it a try, and well their sandwiches are actually good. Can I make my own sandwiches at home? Sure, but again, I wanted to try it out. The staff here is friendly. The store is clean, but I do worry about cross contamination. They asked for mine when I was there. Prices are typical with most fast food places but they're good none the less. Worth a try if near one of these stores. Server was quick on making my meal. Firehouse subs has one of the best pastrami sandwiches I've had in Middle Tennessee. Probably only because you rarely even find pastrami in Middle Tennessee. I wish we had an authentic Jewish deli...maybe one day. Anyway, they definitely do a better sandwich than subway! And their bread is much better too. So, the reason for the 3 stars, is that 5 out of the 6 times I've recently ordered they got my order wrong. Club- NO CHEESE!! I'm allergic and can't eat it. This time tonight @6:33 (11/5/21) yet again it's wrong, but unfortunately I'm already home and I'm not driving another 30 mins to return it. I threw it away. I've been hearing ads for Firehouse for a while now, but since there's none in Cool Springs it took a trip to Murfreesboro to be able to try them out. I tried out the Beef Brisket and Cheese - it's essentially Arby's Beef n' Cheddar, but with higher quality ingredients. As far as fast-food sandwich shops go, I'd easily rank Firehouse above Subway, Quizno's, Lenny's and Jersey Mike's. It's closest contender would be Jimmy Johns, but because they're an entirely different type of sub (Firehouse is a hot-sandwich type place, Jimmy John's is cold-sandwiches) I'd say they are a good compliment to each other. All in all, I really liked the bread, quality of ingredients, and taste. I particularly liked that they have two sizes - a medium and a large sandwich, and that their medium is actually a well portioned amount of food. It's satisfying without feeling like you were short changed. So now I'm left hoping that a Firehouse Subs will open up in Cool Springs to give us another tasty option for sandwiches. read more

I love this place so much. Favorite sandwich shop in the Boro, if not favorite in Middle TN. I'll admit that I was hesitant at first when my husband suggested it. I just kept thinking Subway, which is meh in my opinion, but after eating here this is simply not the case. My go-to is the sweet and spicy meatball sub, but everything I've tried has been outstanding. My # 2 is the brisket. I also like the fact that they have more sides to choose from than just chips like all the other sandwich places. If sandwiches weren't so carb heavy, I'd be eating here a lot more! read more

Came here on a Wednesday at lunch. Didn't have to wait long in line. From the outside it looks to be a very small place but it's not . Nice and plenty of room inside. I did have a problem with my order. I asked for a turkey bacon ranch with extra ranch only instead it came loaded with everything. Great place to eat and sit and get some work done. I have stopped at this location at least once before and it is very well kept. The owner should be very proud. I hear he owns several of these in the area and it shows when someone really knows what they are doing. I have some friends who work in the area and he even has the reputation as a "good tipper" shhh, don't tell anyone we got rid of the person who said that anyway. As a fellow business owner albeit in the solar contracting business and not the restaurant i really appreciate it when i can see someone being successful and help out good causes in the community. Didn't have a good experience at this location. Bread was not fresh, the staff was unwelcoming slow and lazy and the sandwich was just okay. Penn Station is better for heated subs and I'll take Jimmy Johns hands down for cold subs any day---fresher bread and better service. There's not too much I can overly say about a sub place, but I don't think I'll be going to any other sub place in the area again since going to Firehouse. I have never been a big steak and cheese fan, but MAN. This converted me. The other person who went with me got a steak and cheese and I got some turkey sandwich that had mushrooms (which I would've never thought of), and we split our sandwiches and each had half of each. Needless to say, we both finished the steak and cheese first. It is just so delicious. They also have really good brownies and cookies there. Who doesn't love firehouse? I usually go for the NY Steamer with some bourbon hot sauce. The manager at this particular location suggested that pairing and I am eternally grateful! I love that they have online ordering and you can specify when you want the order to be ready. I will use that sometimes to order food that I can pick up on the way home from work. It's always fresh and they have no problem with getting weird requests right. I love that I have one of these so close to where I live! read more

The best subs in the boro always fresh. The club on a sub is excellent however eat it there or within 15 minutes. The sandwiches seem to become very soggy after thirty minutes so they don't travel very well. Several friends had other subs and all stated they were delicious. Much better than subway. read more

Its shocking what one can do to make wanting to return to a foodary seem like an upsetting idea I asked for a custom sandwich everytime I come their ..its not hard to make. Yet I have heard an excuse why they make a mistake everytime. Then when its brought to their attention ,I'm the one with the nasty way of telling them it's wrong. They always fail to butter the sub or place extra pickles I. With it. Fail to say we DONT give extra tomatoes cause we will run out.....are you kidding me. This is the u.s.a. subway dont have that excuse. Then I called to inform them they failed to butter it again and I was told they do t need my attitude. This is place puts other sub shops to shame. Subway has bumped so far down the sub shop list that me and my fiancé will never go there again. The food is so good and the service is exceptional. It's not just the sub that is awesome but the cookies and drink options are also awesome. Firehouse is a bit pricy compared to others but it makes no difference because of how awesome it is.
