I am surprised that Firehouse Guest Services is not acknowledging the fact that the Franchise owner has abandoned this location after being accused of not paying his employees. This franchise owner also owns Lone Spur Cafe in several locations and they too were all closed by state and city governments. Firehouse Sub's website still shows this location to be open when in fact it has been closed for several months. read more

A year ago this location gets 5 stars. The world has changed. Hard to find employees. Now they're closed on Sundays. I do wish them better times. I used to walk in and a bunch of counter employees serenaded all the customers with welcomes and joyful attitudes. Today, one lone soul said Welcome to Firehouse. Thank you sir. I do appreciate you. Place had 8 other customers, plus me, at 1:15 pm on my receipt. None of the customers had large orders. 1 sandwich each. I didn't get out with my 1 medium sandwich to-go order until 1:30pm. Yes, it was Saturday. Lunch time. But unless I had just missed a rush, and the staff was fatigued...that's too long. The website says that this location would not accept on line orders. Next time, I will call them by phone. Again, possible lack of staffing? That's a tough one. No one has staff. At least this shop is open for business. There were 3 employees making sandwiches behind the counter and 1 cashier. All were working as fast as they could. No one goofing off. The roast beef had no taste. I did request no mayo, but it had onions, mushrooms, cheese, mustard...something needs to have flavor. This used to be a good full flavor sandwich. Here's why I 'm reviewing...on top of all those issues...my Firehouse brown bag was loaded with grease. The cause was not my sandwich. The walk from store to car...maybe 10 seconds? I did not notice this until I got home...see pictures...my car seat covers are stained from this grease. This bag went from behind the counter to the counter top with my clean sandwich box enclosed. Nothing was leaking from the box. Someone behind the counter had to have noticed. Please note the pics. I shall not be returning. If the owner is not on premises, please take note. Are you a NEW owner at this location? It has gone from a great location to this. If the owner IS on location...I wish you luck and a more joyful and caring future here. I Used to Love This Firehouse. I walked in yesterday and the gal taking my order was VERY grouchy and rude, you could tell she didn't want to be there. When I got my sandwich it was a mess and items were missing that I ordered on my sandwich. I had two bites left on my sandwich and I noticed mold on my bread. I was disgusted! About 30-40 min after I had left I was so sick, I was on the toilet for almost 30 min crapping the sandwich out. I had to go to bed! I am very sensitive to mold. I will NEVER again I repeat NEVER visit this establishment again. I do plan on calling the health department! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! read more

Pretty basic subs. I'm not into the toasted subs. I think it's cool that they support firefighters and that's why we stop in on occasion.

Besides the point that the subs here are pretty good maybe a 9/10, the service is trash. Mostly every other Firehouse I've been to the staff always yells "Welcome to Firehouse" right when I walk in, but not at this location. They seem very rude to me and not very friendly. Only one cashier that works here is actually friendly and it's the woman with all the piercings and tattoos. Go figure. Half the time the people making my sub forget the pickle and sometimes there's a bite in my sun with horseradish on it. I think they do this so we don't return. Well you got your wish. Very unsatisfied with the service and always seems to be an issue with their rewards system. The staff is awesome. The owner is a nightmare of a human being. The food was prepared correctly about nine out of 10 times, which I am OK with because we usually have a more complicated order. The restaurant was always clean, and I was always greeted with a loud welcome to fire house. Very recently, I found out that the owner keeps all of the tip money that I have been giving for the last couple years. This Hass to be one of the most lowdown dirtbag moves I have ever witnessed in the food industry it has come to my attention that this location is actually closed right now because all the staff walked. I usually don't hope for anything bad to happen to total strangers, but it would warm my heart to know that the owner of this franchise lost everything. I will never return to this location for any reason. If every other restaurant in the entire county was closed down, all the grocery stores ran out of food, and the only possible place to get something to eat was the fire house subs in Prescott Valley, I would go hungry. read more

Very disappointed that they seem to have been twice now out of a lot of their meats! If you ask me SOMEONE IS DROPPING THE BALL!!! PATHETIC!!! I showed up on Monday, October 11, 2021, 40 minutes before closing. We had a family gathering, and people in from out of state, for a funeral earlier that day. I was intending to order some dinner, and bring it back to the hotel that we were staying at nearby. We were going to order 12 subs. I was told by the female employee that they had already shut down and cleaned one of their steamers, and it would take an hour to make 12 subs. The gentleman at the register was ready to take my order, but it was obvious that the female didn't want to do the order. After seeing that her scare tactic to get me to leave didn't work, she went to a back room, where I could hear her talking to another person, probably the manager. During that time another guy came out to confirm how many subs we were intending on ordering. I said 12. The gentleman at the register started taking my order, and before we got the second sub ordered, someone from the back, told the guy at the front, not to take my order as it was too late. 40 MINUTES BEFORE CLOSING. YOU HAD 3 EMPLOYEES WORKING THAT I SAW, AND I BELIEVE A 4TH THAT WAS IN THE BACK. 12 SUBS WAS TOO MUCH??? PATHETIC!!! Representing Firemen??? My team ordered lunch from Firehouse Subs, in Prescott Valley on Glassford Hill Road today through DoorDash. . .the driver who dropped off the order was a sweetheart of a lady, who we tipped cash to. Our order was completely wrong and we were missing items. . .$112.69 total. A coworker & I drove over to Firehouse Subs to get our order corrected. The order we placed online was completely different from what Firehouse Subs received from DoorDash. The team at Firehouse Subs were amazing!! Very nice, very professional and very accommodating!! They remade our entire order in a matter of minutes. DoorDash is supposed to refund our order in 5-7 days. At that time, I will submit a review for them. Have been coming here for over 5 years and the place has been steadily declining in customer service. On one visit it took 3 attempts to make a simple sandwich. I tried to be patient with the workers but the manager, Tiffany, made me feel it was my fault. We came back recently to give them another chance because we try to support local businesses. I ordered a combo and wanted ice tea but I was told by Jasmine that they stop making fresh tea at 7:45 so they can clean the machines, the place closes at 9:00 and had several customers still eating. Jasmine and the other workers didn't seem to care, they were busy talking about what their plans were after work As much as I want to support Firehouse subs I don't think I will return after giving them so many chances. read more

Well ordered the limited time menu bbq triple meat sub for my hubby. I ordered a tuna salad sub...lettuce tomatoes and cheese. The only cheese offered was provolone. C'mon they have all kinds of cheese for the variety of subs. So a small tuna salad sub...lettuce and tomato with one slice of cheese. This was my FIRST time at any firehouse subs so I was clueless walking in. My girlfriend has previously been here before so we chose firehouse over jimmy johns, mostly because I enjoy a hot sandwich. We were greeted promptly by a "welcome to firehouse!" from all the employees. Staring at the menu and because I'm indecisive, I had a hard time choosing a sandwich. Luckily our cashier was a young man, Nick, who gave some excellent recommendations! (I went with the Italian and my gf had the brisket) Nick also told us about the "fully involved", add-ons, and also how BOMB the Mac and cheese was. WOW WOW WOW everything was outstanding! Ordered subs and put on the order NO DAIRY!!! Picked it up got home and they had cheese on them. Then saw the receipt and was charged $39 for two subs. Called and explained the situation and was told a manger would call us back. Never received a call or response. This firehouse subs are definitely not like the others we have always gone too. They don't take the COVID seriously. The manager had her mask on her chin only, so her nose and mouth were exposed. She was talking to five of her employees who all were either adjusting, re-adjusting their mask, fixing their string of the mask or playing with their hair. My gut was to walk out but I ordered the steak sandwich. Took it home and it smelled so bad that I was afraid to eat it. I live in Camp Verde so I wasn't going to drive back for a refund, therefore a ten dollar sandwich was tossed in the trash. Wished I had a refund though. read more

We love Firehouse Subs sandwiches, but unfortunately, this location's service is consistently awful. We have gone here several times and EACH time (not an exaggeration) there has been something wrong with our order, or it takes a very long time to come out. Each time we have called to order catering, we are discouraged from placing an order and are made to seem like we are bothering the employee. We have also actively witnessed the manager (we think) being awful to her employees. I have several friends that have had consistently similar experiences. Wanted to order yesterday, but the door is now locked and you have to order from the app and then they will bring it out to you. God forbid you park in the area marked for pickup, if you do the manager will come out and yell at you and tell you to move as you are taking up valuable space for people to park that come to pickup food already ordered in a empty parking lot. We live in Williamson Valley and don't get to PV a lot so we do stop here when we can, but do to this fiasco, I guess we will just keep going to Jersey Mike's and scratch Firehouse off our list of go to places. Simply not worth it. I've noticed now for the past few subs (steak and cheese) that the meat portions have gradually reduced more and more. The last one I got was more bread than meat. I hate that they removed all the hot sauces they once had. They claim it's because of Covid but it's been proven over and over that Covid is not spread by touching stuff. Always a super crave-satisfying meal. The sweet tea is always freaking awesome (coming from a family of southerners too). The store is kept clean and for the most part, sanitary. BUT.... Once or twice visiting the store has smelled like humid fart, unsure if there were septic issues or what, but it was gross none the less. Secondly, the staff here are generally teenage girls with a TERRIBLE attitude. No greeting, no kindness, and just utter misery. Almost every time ive visited, the girls will stand in front of the POS system and stare at you, not even ask what you would like or how they can help you. I was really baffled to hear some negative reviews about Firehouse Subs since my experience has been awesome every time I have eaten there. The store is always clean (including the bathroom). Their wait time has always been quick (but then again I have never been there during peak hours). the food high quality AND tasty for fast food subs. The pricing is fair for their product. The staff is polite, helpful and efficient. I only have one recommendation: Offer a better selection of chips. The ones you offer are of smallish size and limited selection. I didn't catch her name but she was a loud blonde woman yelling across the store how they were "screwed" and she "wished she'd never became a manager." because they'd ran out of white bread. The store had probably 5 customers all waiting for their order as she very loudly discussed the predicament their were in with another employee as she sat at a table calling around to find bread. She was so loud and so unprofessional!! I would think having such a discussion would have taken place in the back away from the customers. She made picking up dinner uncomfortable!!
