We had roots growing through our sewer line, causing our toilets to back up. That's not a good feeling, when you can't poo! Anyway, these two servicemen, Felix and D, came through big time this afternoon- climbing through a tiny opening to dig out the affected pipe in our crawl space and completely re-routing the clean out so it doesn't happen again. This was a pain in the ass job and these two guys handled it like pros in no time, with smiles on their faces...then pointed out that I had two pecan trees in my backyard, which I was unaware of. If I could leave negative stars is an understatement. We've moved into this house this past May. Ever since then, we've been dealing with T&T service since then. No fixes, and if it was fixed, it was fixed for maybe a day then BOOM! it no work again. They offer 24/7 emergency service ONLY ONLY ONLY if you haven't called them a million times before after not fixing it. Once they see you've called more than a few times, after giving the address and name, they will not answer calls, texts, or emails back. They charged my in laws 25,000 for a new unit where it was a supposed SPECTACULAR AND UP TO PAR BY FAR unit and yet, once a week, we've had to call and tell them it's broken again. They have technician crews who WILL rip holes into your air ducts system, so when you need that cold air the most, all you have to do is walk up the attic and it'll be at-least 40 degrees in it while the rest of the house is at-least 90 degrees. But don't worry! They will not tell you about the rip or try and replace it at that moment. Professional scam artists, absolute liars, and lazy LAZY workers, extremely toxic and selfish as well. We will be filing with the BBB and state attorney over this "company". For the love of god, I beg of you, ONCE YOU SEE THAT 2 point whatever star rating DO NOT CALL OR YOULL BE IN THE SAME BOAT AS ME AND MY FAMILY!! And now we get to spend the night in a hotel! YAY! I was told they would get there Friday morning (called on Wednesday) to give quote and if approved work would begin. Thursday came around and no call for time window. So I called and was told by the office someone else will have to call you. No call back. Friday morning came, called for a time told I would get a call back for time. Some time went on and guess what no call back. So I called again and asked about it and was met with the rudest person in the whole company. She told me appointments are from 8-5! When I asked about when he would be there to do work she responded "1-5 anything else" Not only did they mess my work schedule up they also have completely destroyed my timeline for my shower renovation. I just had an unpleasant experience with T and T. I called and discussed EXACTLY what I wanted in great detail and they made the appointment. This is not / was not the typical clogged drain scenario or fixture replacement. On the day prior to the appointment, a different person called to confirm the appointment and told me that hey do not do what was listed on the Work Order which I pointed out to be wrong. That's not what I told the first person what I wanted and explained. That person made a correction on the computer and said no problem, we can do that and the guy would be on his way. When Justin arrived, I went through it all again just to make sure that he knew and understood what I wanted done, which apparently was not what he saw on his little hand held tablet. After some finger pecking on his tablet, he proceeded to tell me that they normally don't get up on roofs as this is a liability and that he might fall or break his camera so there would be an additional charge on top of the charge to snake the drains. I told his that he would not be doing anything and to leave. He then informed that there was a $69.00 service fee but he would not charge that. I replied that the fee was described as an accessment fee of $59.00 and he had not accessed anything so there would be no fee at all and that he was dismissed. Moral of this: Be wary of Thompson and Thompson. If deciding to do anything with them, get all costs in writing in advance and make sure that they are able or capable of doing what you want in the first place. Had a very unexpected plumbing concern. Called at 3 pm Tuesday Scheduled for Thursday morning. They called saying they had a cancellation and could come in Wednesday morning !!! Showed up on time when scheduled ( early actually). Kind. Courteous, professional, efficient. Provided great information and resources. Nick Wiggins and his team went above and beyond. I was approached by a guy at Home Depot, offering $50 HVAC tune ups in the fall of 2023. Since we'd just bought the house, I thought it couldn't hurt, so I booked a slot, confirmed when they called me, waited four hours for them to show- nothing. No call, no show. They called a day later to reschedule, we booked a time, wasted four hours, no showed, again. We ended up doing it ourselves so I declined rescheduling the next time they called, especially after being informed it's actually $99. Not that the cost was an issue, but why lie? Fast forward to Spring 2024, we need a tech to actually perform a repair. I decided to give them another shot and called. The girl on the phone kept asking if they've been to our house before (they installed the system for the previous owners) but refused to look up the address or previous owners to find the system info. I booked a time anyway, waited around the four hours, and once again, no call, no show. I called a local business, and as they were headed out I finally got a call from the tech saying he was wrapping up. Huge lack of professionalism for a bigger company. I have no experience of them showing up or performing any work so I can't speak to that, but can't say I'd recommend based on lack of simple communication, as well as respect for my time. read more

I contacted the company to have someone come out and install my washer and dryer. It needed to be changed from a 4 prong to 3 prong due to an older house and the washer needed to be connected to the dryer for the steam line. They knew what needed to be done and sent the appropriate contractors (I assumed). The guys showed up promptly and did not look very experienced. Needless to say, they did not do the job correctly. My washer ONLY runs hot water and the steam line runs water to the dryer every time I turn the dryer on! This SHOULD NOT happen! I called to tell them company thinking they would do the appropriate thing and send out someone as soon as possible to fix it fast at no charge since this was their error. And especially since I paid $340 for the service which was a rip off in itself! The call center person said she could send out a plumber because those were electricians to look at it but they might charge me for whatever service he did! Are you kidding me?! You should have sent the right person to do the job from the beginning!!! I SHOULD NOT be charged again for their error! A good business would have corrected their mistake at no charge and done so without stress to the customer!!! Very bad business! And way overpriced for poor work. read more

I will never use this company again. I have used them twice now and only received shotty work from them. They are not professionals. I have a hole cut into my floor for no reason but stupidity from one of their service techs that has 30 years experience. A week without ac in the summer because they couldn't figure out the problem. I later used them again to put a toilet back on. The second they left I flushed the toilet and it leaked everywhere. I got quoted $350 to fix the toilet and $535 to replace the toilet! I went to Home Depot and bought a new $150 toilet installed and brought to my house (old one taken away) for $315 total . This company takes advantage of people. So yesterday I had Thompson & Thompson come out to give me a quote on a job (I'm getting three estimates before we decide). The quote they gave me is 2-3 times what I've received so far. It comes in a "narrative" format and seems to include things we don't need, so I called them this morning and asked for an itemized explanation of the estimate. Their response? "We don't do that. Company policy. Sorry." I am speechless. Truly, the audacity. I mean, I've always heard how T&T is the most expensive service around, but like I said, we are collecting a few proposals in order to make our decision. We received an estimate of $720 to reseat two original toilets after flooring was laid and we felt that the pricing wasn't competitive and called a different company. This company attempted to charge me for a job which was not completed, only until I refused to pay, and complained to management did they correct the bill. However some of the techs who did come out were very professional and performed the second job very well. So I pass no blame towards the workers. (150$ just to show up) Called to see if someone could come out and see why there was a tapping sound in the wall when we run the hot water. The woman I spoke with told me they only charge if they find something wrong and fix the issue, so I had them come out. The plumber told me why the sound was happening and I declined any repairs due to it was nothing major. They were here around 5 minutes cost 150$ for the conversation and them showing up. I would have never agreed for someone to come out and perform no work for 150$ that's a very steep inspection and quote for work. Had I gotten any work done I guess the 150 goes towards the whole labor bill. I've had AC companies do checks on systems and service units for 75-100$. To have someone just show up talk with me and my wife for around 5 minutes and charge 150$ with no work being performed is outrageous to me. The woman that scheduled the appointment was misleading. This company replaced our AC unit at the beginning of the summer. I stressed about having to make this big purchase, but was pleasantly surprised. They were by far the best price and super helpful through the whole process. Installation went smoothly other than a bad storm that rolled in. Techs helped my husband get our pups in the house while tornado sirens went off. Techs, husband, and pups had to cram into our bathroom waiting for the tornado to pass! At least the techs got a little break! After storm had past, techs completed the install and our new unit has been working wonderfully! I will definitely use this company for yearly maintenance for our AC unit or for other services they offer. read more
