I would not recommend this business to install your fireplace or to maintain it. They ordered the wrong part for ours which delayed getting our fireplaced fixed. They could not even tell us if the fan would work when they installed the broken part. They've been nothing but a headache to us. I initially contacted Fireplace LLC to work on a family member's house, and the technician did a good job. Later, when my own gas fireplace stopped working, I called them back to troubleshoot it. The standard $250 service fee was expected and not an issue. The tech identified a broken part and said they needed to order an OEM replacement--also fine. The problem started when I was told there would be another $250 service call just to install the new part. I wasn't thrilled, but I agreed. I was told the part would arrive in about four weeks, which already felt long, but I decided to wait. After eight weeks with no update, I called Fireplace LLC to check on the status. I was briefly put on hold and then told it would be another four weeks. At that point, rather than be strung along again in the middle of winter, I cancelled everything. What really bothered me was the attitude: there was no apology, no concern, no attempt to make it right--just a "thank you" and goodbye. Overall, the experience felt careless and dismissive. I thought it was worth sharing--pretty ridiculous service for something as important as heat in the winter. read more

The salesman was very helping in finding exactly what we wanted. I hate give anything less than perfect, but the installer complained up going to be difficult, more than once. Dimario is great! He did everything he could to resolve the problem and did an amazing job with educating me about the issue. He did mention the fireplace needed a "Fresh Air Kit." Unfortunately, after he left, I had to shut the fireplace down because I became so sick, even with the window open, which is no fault of his. I honestly don't know if this landlord will do the right thing and install the fresh air kit; but I will not be able to use this fireplace at all. I even had a window open. The smell just seemed to get worse after Dimario left. I had to sit outside for quite awhile. This was not his fault though. He took his time cleaning up the disgusting mess that was left by this landlord inside that fireplace and placed the logs in the appropriate position, but unfortunately; it's not going to be enough for me to be able to operate this fireplace. read more

Leland G. came out because our pilot light kept going out randomly even though there was no interruption in our gas line. He listened and diagnosed the problem and provided a fix with explanation. He cleaned our glass, rearranged our logs to look even nicer and told us we had been shorted a log on the install. He ordered the new log for us. We had a problem with our stone surround our firebox getting too hot causing it to crack. He recommended a blower, got us a quote and installed on the same visit. Heat comes into the room now instead of up and lingering on the stone. He protected our floors and cleaned up before leaving. Great service! read more
