Love the shop, love the service, and love the coffee! They will make you a custom espresso, coffee, tea, or decaf beverage at their bar. They also have fresh samples of all the main rosy coffee. The samples were very watered down, but it was enough to catch the flavor profile without the coffee jitters. I love the selection of tea, coffee, and accessories. I was pleasantly surprised they bag the espresso beans fresh when you order them. The 16 ounce (1 pound) bag of whole (or ground) beans was less than $16. My iced white mocha (extra shot, almond milk) was fantastic and definitely gave me the energy to get through the day. I'm so happy to find this gem tucked away in Keystone. read more

What a great new coffee roaster. At the end of a warehouse style building off of SR 100. I wasn't looking for this brand new business, I actually made a wrong turn and found it. They don't offer cups of coffee per say however they do offer free samples(4oz cups) of the coffee they are currently roasting. When I was in the store they were serving: a medium Brazilian bean, a medium Peruvian bean and a dark Sumatra bean. I've never cared for Peruvian coffee so I didn't even sample it. The Sumatra is not for me its too strong. For someone who likes strong coffee this would be very good option. I tried 2 samples of the Brazilian and ended up purchasing a 12 oz bag for $10.95. My purchase also included dinner mints and a coffee scoop, which I thought was an extra special touch. I purchased whole beans but they will grind them fresh for you if needed. This joints soft opening was April 6th. They haven't had an official Grand Opening yet. Talking with the owners son for a little while who informed me that they'll be holding coffee classes in the near future. The coffee class sounded like a wine tasting, only with coffee. It's a quaint little shop unfortunately my phone was dead and I don't have any pictures. The coolest part of this place is that the roasting/packaging room is open concept. Behind 2 huge windows you can see the process bean to bag. I love that. Very clean! I wish them the very best! read more

This place is pretty good! I went here with my dad. I got an iced coffee. My dad got a cup of hot coffee. There were many flavoring options for the coffee I got. They have a section full of different creamers and sugars. They also have some pastries you can buy, but we didn't get any. I will next time though. It's a bit expensive, but the coffee is delicious and the staff knows A LOT about the coffee they buy and sell. I highly recommend it. 9/10 read more

The owner (Bill) is knowledgeable about everything you could ask for that is coffee related - from bean types to origins, roasting temperatures to achieve different flavors and acidities, and they can literally roast a batch of beans to achieve any flavor you want. They have multiple carafes of different coffees out at any given time if you want to sample or purchase a cup of coffee, but the real gift here is that you can buy coffee beans (or have them ground for you) from many places, roasted to your preference. read more

This was my first trip to Keystone Heights (camping at Mike Roess Gold Head Brach State Park). Since I'm a bit of a coffee snob, I was concerned at the lack of coffee shop options. But, after trying FirePower Coffee Roasters, I knew immediately that I wouldn't have looked elsewhere even if there were a plethora of alternatives. FirePower Coffee Roasters' coffee is fantastic! If you haven't heard of FirePower Coffee Roasters, I'll sum it up quickly. It is a family-owned shop owned by a well-traveled couple who know coffee inside & out. They roast their own coffee in-house, which you can see (and smell) from the cute storefront. When I opened the front door, I was met with the most delicious aroma of freshly roasted coffee. They had quite a few different types of roasts to accommodate practically any preference. Even better, they encouraged me to try different samples to determine which one I wanted to drink. The first one I tried was so delicious that I purchased a bag of whole bean coffee to use in my Jura machine at home. If you enjoy a cup of coffee that tastes as good as any you might find in Seattle, I highly recommend stopping here. read more

Firepower coffee is the best! It has a nice variety of coffees and organic teas. I love the fact that when you order coffee online-you have the option to select different bag sizes and how you would like your bean roasted- light, medium or dark. You can also choose whole bean or ground. When you select ground- they have 8 different grind styles-everything from espresso, drip to French press. I also love the fact that the Cafe Femenino Foundation supports women coffee farmers and their families.
