Do you smell coffee on the back streets of Yulee? Well it's TRUE! We actually have a artisinial coffee roaster right here in Nassau County and wow does this coffee smell and taste terrific. I stopped by to see the actual place and to get the low down on the past and present of the company. I am always looking to support local business that truly make a superb product. Its amazing how you can quickly tell the difference between good smooth tasting coffee and bitter stuff. Nuanz also makes small batch iced coffee which I was able to taste. The iced coffee was silky smooth and delicious. I did end up buying a pound of Sumatra ground for my Keurig. The owner will grind for any type of machine that you have or you can buy whole bean and grind your own. I really enjoyed stopping by and plan on making Nuanz coffee as gifts for the holidays.

Great small batch single source coffees. We were treated like family. Hidden in a residential area off Blackrock Rd.

On December 1, I tried to order a printer, no matter what I did on my Apple phone or my computer,…read morewhich is not Apple I could not get this to work call people and customer service code 2 or three numbers. Nobody seemed to wanna help me they said they had no technical support. I was really upset because it's a big company and I would think that they would have people out there. I was told you have no technical support in this company for a customer if they're having a problem on the Internet, putting in the sale for a product that says Internet only so I was told to me on the phone that they could not help me, but I could go into the store and someone there would help me put this order in. I went to the store store number 357 there I met a person her name was NARDA on her tag is said customer service supervisor I explained to her the problem I was having she looked at me she said let me see what I can do to help you. We went to the computer department. They couldn't get it to work at your 45 minutes to an hour she realized there was nothing we could do, but she promised me that she would get to the bottom of it and figure out what to do to get my printer ordered. The prom was on November 20. I was going to have surgery for cancer. I was concerned I wanted to save the money on the sale. It was $110 off. She gave me her phone number to the store also wrote down her name because I'm 70 years old and I have a hard time remembering things. She was very considerate and kind and she really went out of her way. We must've spent an hour and a half to two hours trying to figure things out. We tried every different way but loose and nothing seemed to work . The next day I called her back. When I call that number, someone answered, the phone asked me a few questions. I explained what was going on. They asked me to hold on for a few minutes and they would get her a few minutes later. She came on the phone and she asked me how things were going was I able to order my printer? I told her now is still doing the same thing so she said to me I'm gonna call 800 number and talk to someone in customer service and see if they can help you so she called back and left a message because I was not able to answer the phone. I was talking to my doctor so I called back and she answered the phone. She asked me hold on for a minute. She was very polite about it. I said no problem. She said she is going to call 800 number . After she called that number and explained everything that was going on she gave me the Number 800-774-2678 to call the woman that answered the phone. Her name was CLETA. This was amazing. It took me about 10 minutes to explain everything to her and so she asked me to do a few things on my phone then my computer and we couldn't get anything to work. This woman stayed on the phone with me for at least 45 minutes to an hour. She was not willing to give up. She was determined to help me get this printer ordered, knowing that I was gonna have surgery for cancer on May 20 and she knew how bad I wanted to get this printer before the surgery. So I could save money on the sale. If I had surgery on May 20, if anything went wrong, I might not make it back to order it after the sale was over, which is the end of May finally after all options were used up we decided the best thing to do was to sign out of my Costco app and then delete it then sign in under a different email once I did this the order went through very smoothly. I couldn't think that two people that made my life so much easier even though there was a lot of complication they didn't give up. I try to give her a Google review, but three4 seconds went by and there was no recording. Asked me to leave a review on how good she was so I decided that I needed to send a letter to corporate and let them know how these two employees went really out of their way to make sure that I was happy. Sincerly BM #112021464806 Thank you.

**Racially Discriminatory Treatment by Floor Associate Pam**…read more My experience at BJ's Wholesale on July 16, 2026, was unacceptable, humiliating, and deeply concerning. Before checking out, an assistant manager had already confirmed that BJ's would honor my $20-off coupon. She instructed me to go to the checkout area and said she would inform the staff. When I reached the registers, a floor associate named Pam was the only available employee. She was wiping down the registers and conveyor belts, so I approached her for assistance. Pam immediately told me that the coupon could not be honored--even though she is neither a manager nor an assistant manager and the decision had already been made by someone with the authority to make it. Pam then announced that she was going to speak to the assistant manager "about that." When she returned, she looked in my direction and appeared to pretend that she was speaking on the phone before approaching me. She then stated that the coupon would be honored "this time," but began attempting to scold and lecture me about what would happen "next time." There was no reason for Pam to insert herself into a decision that had already been authorized by management. There was also no reason for her to speak to me as though I had done something wrong, attempted to deceive the store, or needed to be disciplined. I experienced Pam's behavior as hostile, controlling, racially discriminatory treatment. As a Black woman, I am very familiar with the difference between ordinary customer-service communication and an employee deciding that she has the right to police, undermine, or control an interaction that was already resolved. Pam appeared determined to override the assistant manager's authority and establish that she--not management--would control how I was treated. My concern is bigger than a $20 coupon. My concern is that a customer-facing employee felt comfortable treating me with suspicion, hostility, and condescension when I had already received approval from management. Does Pam's conduct represent the BJ's Wholesale brand, mission, and values? If it does not, this incident needs to be taken seriously. BJ's should review the store's camera footage, speak with the assistant manager and employees who were present, and investigate Pam's conduct. An employee who brings discriminatory, hostile, or intimidating behavior onto the sales floor affects customers, coworkers, and the entire atmosphere of the store. I am requesting a formal response explaining how this complaint will be addressed. I also expect BJ's to determine whether Pam should remain in a customer-facing position without corrective action, accountability, and appropriate discrimination and customer-service training. Black customers should not have to prepare themselves to be challenged, policed, or talked down to while spending their money. I entered BJ's as a paying member and deserved to be treated with the same dignity, professionalism, and respect as every other customer.

It was finally time for me to upgrade my glasses. I had an eye exam at a different doctor's office,…read morebut came to Costco to get my frames and lenses because I've been satisfied in the past. The particular day I arrived there were a ton of people looking at glasses. I didn't see any disinfectant wipes to wipe down glasses after I saw others try them on, so took it upon myself to bring some wipes. I looked at a bunch of different frames, seriously if you're worried that you won't be able to find any name brand lenses, rest assured; they have a bunch of different ones to choose from (Gucci, Fendi, Cartier, Coach, Oakley, etc). After trying on a few pairs, my number was called. I set down a few pairs and asked the associate how much each particular frame would cost based on my insurance. I whittled my choices down to two, then finally picked a pair based on price and look. The woman that helped me was pleasant, took my Prescription. I paid and then was told it would be about 7-10 days. After seven days I contacted the store and spoke to Jarrod; the manager. He said they had just gotten a shipment of glasses in and said he'd go in the back and check. To my delight my glasses were in that shipment. I went a few days later to pick up my glasses. It was an easy process. A few weeks later I had to get the adjusted, so when I went to Costco again they adjusted them for me. Pros: -variety of frames -brand names -helpful staff -quick turnaround Cons: -frames can be costly even with insurance -long lines Tip: when you arrive at the optical center, be sure to grab a number or else you'll be waiting a while.
