I loved how many varieties of heirloom tomatoes they had. It was honestly so hard to chose, there were so many awesome options. I loved their little blurb about what each tomato was like. They had a large variety of annuals and perennials as well, the pricing is pretty comparable to other nurseries, probably a touch higher. The employees are friendly and there is usually always someone around to help!

I heart Amber, her energy, her taste, her philosophies, her creativity, & her genuine, infectious laugh. Every bit of Nico Scout reflects Amber & every bit of Amber is reflected in Nico Scout. What a selection of products! When I don't know what to get someone as a gift, I go to Nico Scout. Amber has done the hard work of thinking & collecting & curating, so that I can just show up & get inspired. I always find something for someone, & it's usually something I never knew existed. Last year I found an incredible book in the store about Black American musicians & the conception of jazz. I didn't know this book existed & didn't know I needed it until I saw it. It came home with me, of course, & was a perfect gift for a good friend of mine. Books, clothes, knick knacks, art, pottery, plants, homewares, etc. There is so much goodness here, running the entire gamut of price. There's something for every person & every budget here. It came wrapped in hard plastic that you need to cut with a knife or scissors to open. I believe the item was defective. I could get it to work to either turn the lights on or shut them off but not both. I went to the store, with my receipt, to return the item. At first, they stated they got it working and it was not defective. ( They actually got it to turn on an item which I also did). Then they said they could not accept the return because I did not have the original packaging and therefore they could not resell it. I asked how are they going to sell an item that is not working properly. They still refused to accept the return. I left the timer with them and walked out of the store. We will never return. Now I understand how Amazon is so successful.

We had 5 knives, so we dropped them off and within about 2 hours, we got a call saying our knives were ready for pick up. The one they could not do was my large Chinese meat cleaver, but otherwise all the other large knives were done right. Great job ! I was able to use my digital coupons and rewards towards this transaction.
