I talked to Sean and he answered all of the questions that I had before I decided to go to their showroom to look at it in person. I stopped by the Holliston store after work in April and I was impressed by every employee in the store practicing social distancing, wearing masks, etc. during the peak of COVID-19. I looked at the hot tub in person and it was everything that I was told it was before I got there. The salesperson was very friendly and answered all of my questions that I had about the Caldera Spas. The salesperson was not pushy at all. I ended up purchasing the same display model a few days later. Josh came to my house to perform a pre-delivery site survey and drop off the electrical service panel a few days after that. A couple of weeks later, the Hearthside Service team came to delivery my new hot tub and install all of the accessories on it. They were all very friendly and cleaned up after themselves prior to leaving. I have had a very positive experience with the purchase and delivery of my new Caldera Spa and highly recommend Hearthside Fireplace & Patio! I can also highly recommend the Service Team over at Hearthside as well. I have had a couple of issues with the my new spa, but that was to be expected as it was a display model and a couple of years old. The technician that comes here is very friendly and always leaves everything exactly as he found it and cleans up prior to leaving. I recently had an issue with the Topside Control Panel on my hot tub which was causing the hot tub to shutdown and the temperature has been below freezing. The heater was unable to operate due to the faulty control panel and I was worried that the water inside of the hot tub and plumbing would freeze leading to more problems. Hearthside was able to get a technician in within the same week to figure out what was causing the issue and what they needed to order. Hearthside then ordered the part and was back here to replace it only a couple of business days later. The hot tub is now good as new. I am very impressed with their service and response. Hearthside was able to expedite the shipping on the new part that I needed even during the COVID-19 pandemic and they were also able to get the technician back here to replace it as soon as it came in. When you are purchasing a new hot tub/spa you want to make sure that the dealer is going to service it after you purchase it as they are the ones that honor the manufacturer's warranty. I can safely say that Hearthside will service your hot tub and honor the manufacturer's warranty if needed. If you're looking for a new hot tub, I would not hesitate to checkout a Caldera Spa at any of Hearthside's locations!

Just a month and a half after installation, the ice maker stopped working. They attempted to repair it four different times before finally discovering the issue was a faulty motor. During this frustrating process, we had to spend over $400 for a replacement refrigerator because they didn't have anything available in our original price range. On top of that, they charged us $140 for plumbing work and tried to blame us for the malfunction, suggesting it was a faulty water valve. In the end, it was confirmed to be a motor issue -- not anything we had done wrong. What made this even worse was the lack of support and accountability from the store. I had to take time off work for every repair visit, and at no point did they try to make it right or offer any meaningful help. When I shared this experience with a friend, she told me she went through almost the exact same thing and ended up stuck with a fridge that had a non-working ice maker. We will never shop here again. Supporting local businesses shouldn't come at the cost

Thank goodness for the experts at The Bar-B-Que Barn - they saved our BBQ this weekend!…read more I have an extremely old Skyline Series Weber grill, and when we ran out of propane the new tank didn't fit the hose on the grill. A trip to Home Depot yielded an adaptor that didn't fit, and with 3 hours till BBQ time, I was getting desperate. I called The Bar-B-Que Barn and spoke with one of the guys there, and when I described the problem he knew exactly what I was talking about and how to fix it. I ran over to their store in Arlington and in five minutes he had produce the piece that I needed to convert the hose on my old grill into one that would fit a standard propane tank, and even put some sealant on the piece so it wouldn't leak when I installed it. He gave me a quick tutorial on how to perform the minor surgery needed to install the new piece and told me to invest in a 9/16ths wrench and I was on my way. After arriving home, I was able to fix the grill in less than five minutes, and thanks to The Bar-B-Que Barn, when 20 guests showed up for dinner the grill was cookin'! If you live in Arlington, Cambridge, Somerville, or anywhere in the surroudning area, I highly reccomend a trip to The Bar-B-Que Barn to fill or exchange your propane tank or stock up on grill accessories! They might even offer you a hot dog fresh off the grill while you are there :)
