I took my car to Firestone to get the front brakes replaced. I was told by my car dealership that they needed to be replaced and it would cost around $375.00 to replace the front breaks. I called Firestone to see if I needed to set up an appointment and to get a quote. the gentleman that answered the phone stated that an appointment is not needed and his quote was ALOT less than the dealership. I dropped off my vehicle near the end of the business day and I was told that the vehicle would be ready to pick up the next day around lunch time. I was surprised when I received a call from them stating that my drakes did not need to be replaced and I could pick up my vehicle. They could have replaced the breaks and I wouldn't have known anything but they did the right thing. The atmosphere of Firestone is very professional and clean. I was treated as if I was a family member and not as another $$$ I will definitely bring any vehicle I own to Firestone because of how honest they are. read more

I came in because I had a flat tire. The employee told me the tire wasn't repairable and said he needed to check the mileage and tread depth to determine how much I would have to pay. I assumed my warranty would cover the replacement, but it didn't, so I agreed to pay the prorated amount without any issue. What disappointed me was the customer service. I asked if they could rotate my tires while they were replacing the damaged one, and his immediate response was, "Only if it needs it." Considering the tires were already well past the recommended mileage for a rotation, I expected a little more initiative or at least a recommendation from the professionals. I also asked if they could perform an alignment since they were replacing a damaged tire, and once again, I felt like my request was treated as an inconvenience rather than an opportunity to help a customer maintain their vehicle properly. I'm not a tire expert--that's why I came to professionals. Instead of receiving helpful advice or recommendations, I felt like the focus was simply on charging me for the replacement and moving on. Good customer service is about more than taking payment; it's about educating customers, honoring warranties fairly, and making them feel valued. DO NOT GO TO THIS FIRESTONE LOCATION! Long time customer of Firestone. Not much of a person to complain, but I've had so many issues from this location that it's nothing short of amazing. One of the many issues that showed a clear lack of competence/customer care was that they didn't properly put my wheels back on. Almost lost one on the interstate going 75 (could have been injured and others could have too) but luckily two lug nuts stayed intact. All other lug nuts were hardly hand tightened. The manager showed little to know care or acknowledgment that they did anything wrong. Even though parts of my car were broken due to wheel being loose. This was after I had to drive back two other times to get items that they didn't put back into/on my car. (FYI: the there customers in front of me were complaining about paid work that wasn't done correctly) Once again, I'm not a big complainer but i would hate to see others over pay for this type of poor service and treatment. read more

The manager was unable to explain why I was charged for an A/C diagnosis that failed to find anything however they charged me for freon and evacuation service and the n after having to take it back because it wasn't fixed and somehow after a week developed leaks on suction and discharge side now, they do not want to compensate me for the misdiagnosis. I had an appointment booked for 3 days in advance and when i showed up to our appointment to drop the vehicle off i was told that it was my fault i booked online and online wasn't accurate so i should have called. (Online says they will contact us by phone if there was a conflict in scheduling). The Guy behind the counter was rude, loud and disrespectful to me, his other customers and his coworker. I told him he would loose a lot of business because of this situation. The guy followed me outside telling how rude I was and how I was wrong to speak to him in-front of his customers like that. Not to mention I listened to him argue with his supervisor on the phone in front of customers and his coworkers. The whole experience was a fiasco. This is the worst experience I have ever had with an auto service company. I bought tires along with an extended warranty. 1) Not only did they NOT honor the warranty, they damaged my car, falsely documented the damage, and they were dishonorable about performing the service I paid for. 2) They didn't properly replace the protective skid plate that protects the oil pan and oil filter. It came off my car when I left and started driving down the street. I had to pay to have it replaced because they denied any responsibility. 3) They tightened the oil drain plug so tight that my oil pan had the be replaced by another firestone location and I had to pay for it. 4) They were supposed to patch a hole in my tire and they failed to properly install the patch, so I had to buy a new tire to replace a new tire. Patching/plugging a hole is very easy and it was a simple task. 5) They were very messy with my interior. I had to have my seats professionally cleaned bc the mechanic that worked on my vehicle got engine oil all over my seats. 6) Their customer service was very unfriendly, disrespectful, and not helpful. They just denied any responsibility. I had receipts, photos, and estimates of the damage. They did not care... 7) I asked for the name of the mechanic because I wanted to make a formal complaint with the corporate office. They refused to give me any information on the individuals that worked on my car. This is the reason most people do not and should not trust most mechanics. I am a mechanic but I do not currently have access to a shop. The only reason I let them work on my car was because of the warranty I purchased -Yes, the extended warranty I paid for with hard earned money. I have a family and I make an honest living with my small business. It is businesses like this FIRESTONE that are destroying everything good about our economy and community. The American people should be able to trust businesses, mechanics, and the services being provided. Businesses like this should be held accountable for their actions/mistakes and they should serve the people with respect and honor. I find it very disturbing to think that any other person will have to go through the same thing I went though. Especially a single parent that recently lost their spouse in an automobile accident and works multiple jobs to provide for their children. read more

Awful. I took them my truck because it wouldn't start. I knew it was a fuel system issue. So, I asked them to check the fuel injectors, and the fuel pump driver control module. 3 days later they haven't done either, and they refer me to the dealership citing an ECM failure. Which I know is ridiculous. So, once again I have my truck towed. Take it to the dealership, and guess what. Water, and debris in the fuel injectors. 0/10, do not recommend. They ended up not charging me for the diagnostic. But, I still towed them my truck for absolutely nothing. I mean, I literally told them what to do. I don't get it. read more

Decided to try out Firestone for the first time today because A) Walmart doesn't do alignments B) Every time I go to Walmart, I am called honey and treated like a dumb woman. Just going to hit everyone with the facts so this is an unbiased review: I dropped off my car at approx. 3:30 (called first and was told that there would be no problem getting my car completed today, which was important to me because this is my only day off this week :)) Was told it would be done around 5. Called about 5:45 to say, um hi, whats up guys? They said it should be ready at closing time at 7. Showed up at 7:01 PM and was told that my car was never touched. The guy I dealt with unapologetically said "wanna just leave it over night?" Car was parked in the same spot I parked it in originally. Hey NWA is there anywhere that I can go to have my car worked on as a 27 year old woman and not be harassed, belittled or cheated? Oh and yes, actually have the work completed? Firestone sucks and I would HIGHLY suggest looking elsewhere for assistance. Only thing that worked out is that I am SO glad they didn't receive my money and my business. read more

Chaotic energy! The manager talks too much about whatever, not really keeping on topic of your car or any questions that you have asked. I went in for an assignment and I asked about pricing on air & cabin filters and he talked about pricing on one but not the other. He said he would order the cabin filter and it would be here later and then I told him I could come back the next day to do it. After the signee was done, the ticket showed charges for both air and cabin filter. The mechanic in the back didn't put in the cabin filter because it wasn't on his ticket but yet it was on the ticket that I was being charged for. He said he going to put it in real quick, so I ended up getting both my air and cabin filters. The alignment, and putting in both filters took a total of two and a half hours. During that time many customers came in and left out of frustration. They either over booked people or took in people when they knew that they were already booked. Either way, the shop was not run very smoothly. I'm not doubting the mechanics ability, I'm calling out the manager's inability to fix his business into a better place of service. Focus on work and the task at hand, professionalism is more than just making pleasant conversation with customers, it's about treating the customer on the customer's level of what they are asking or needing. I didn't want my cabin and air filter replaced today. I wanted to do it tomorrow but I got pushed into doing it today because the manager didn't fill out the tickets correctly. He just assumed he knew what I wanted. From now on I'm going to a different location. read more

Scheduled an appointment for 1PM on a Thursday for a rotation and an alignment. I told them I would be back at 5 to pick it up. I was assured it would be ready by then. I arrive at 6 after being at work late, and the car is in the lot. I go inside thinking it is done, but no. Only the rotation had been done. The tech ensures me (its 6:15 at this point) that it will be done by closing time at 7. If it only takes 45 minutes why was it not done already? I refuse his offer and take my business elsewhere. Roll ahead to Sunday. My girlfriend schedules and appointment at 9AM for a rotation, oil change and a battery check. Guess what time her car is ready at? 4:50PM. So, was her car the only one that got worked on that day, since she scheduled at 9 when they open and it got done 10 minutes before closing? Imagine if I hadn't picked her up and dropped her off. Before you take your car here make sure you have a ride, or you might be sitting in the waiting room for 8 hours again 8 hours. whoa! As you can see there is no point in scheduling an appointment at his place. These two cars should've taken 3 hours at most. This is clearly a management issue and Firestone should make a change here. I live out in Goshen, and probably would've taken my car here for years, now I will have to drive by this place every time I need car work done. read more

I have no roadside warranty since tires came on the car. Firestone sold me a new tire and are putting it on in a timely manner. They always take good care of us here and get us back on the road. Friendly, fast, and inexpensive! Stephanie was wonderful. She worked around my difficult schedule, provided accurate quotes, and was friendly and patient. This is my second time purchasing tires through Firestone and their warranties are solid. I was able to walk out with 4 new tires with 70,000 miles warranty for $325 including installation & fees. I had requested a quote for replacement of all 4 brakes (AWD) and rotors because another mechanic said they all needed to be replaced. I was given a fair and reaonsable quote. Later, when I came to pick up my car they had determined my front brakes were perfectly fine and only replaced the back. This kind of integrity & honesty makes for a great mechanic. In addition to the competitive rates and fast service, Jason waited past closing time so that I could pick up my car. He was clear, thorough and friendly when discussing the services and charges despite having to wait for me. He went out of his way to make sure I was a happy customer! I brought in my car with a blown radiator hose. After they checked it out, they came back with their list: all 3 radiator hoses to be replaced (@$35 part cost ea), the thermostat, even a probable cracked radiator... over $800 in this that and the other. We asked the price to replace just the single busted hose, but was told that because the other 2 were in "such bad shape" they couldn't let me leave with them. I took my keys and drove across the street to the little oil change place the Grease Monkey right next to the sonic. They replaced the ONE requested hose for $20 part cost and I was out of there for under $80 for everything: parts, labor, and coolant fluid filled. It's been 2 months and my hoses, temp gauges, and radiator are working just fine. Firestone made it seem like I wouldn't be able to drive home without all those additional repairs. read more

Several weeks ago my wife was driving through Fayetteville and blew a rear tire. She thought it was fortunate that it happened very close to a Firestone store so she pulled in and asked about getting someone to put on her spare since she had been told that the tire was too badly damaged to repair and that she would need to replace the tire. To her amazement she was told they were too busy and would not put her spare on. She was perplexed about a course of action so she called me, 30 mins. away and at work. Fortunately a young man leaving the store offered to change the tire, which he did and she was able to get home. Recently(4 months) bought a new set of tires from Firestone but you can bet I will never shop there again. Thanks a lot, Firestone! read more

I think it's a great place to figure out every little thing wrong with your car, but it will cost about $100 to do that. If you actually want to fix your car, I wouldn't actually do it there. You need to decide what you actually NEED to fix before you do anything. They will "recommend" you many little things, but you don't necessarily need to fix everything they do recommend. They also overprice for their labor. It's great quality, but unnecessarily overpriced. You can get better prices at other places for sure. read more

This Firestone is the McDonald's of garages in Fayetteville. Furious. Alternator died on a Sunday some time ago, and they were the only shop open. Being a full time single dad, I had no choice but to go with this location in order to keep the car (and our lives) moving. The alternator died again (while under warranty) and had to pay $105 labor to fix it. While in their care, they damaged my power steering. I received a call while the car was in their care from a mechanic who informed me of the damage to the power steering and kept adding, "But, we didn't damage it" before I ever had a chance to say a word. Of course they damaged it. I took it back to have it "looked at," at which time I was told, in summary, "You can't prove we did it." I've never written a negative review of a business in my life. But I will inform as many Fayetteville residents as possible to avoid Firestone as possible so that they won't deal with the same terrible experience as I did. While waiting, I can also tell you that I wasn't the only frustrated/angry/disappointed customer in that waiting room. This place is awful. AVOID. read more

We were not impressed by this place at all. We dropped of our jeep for them to check for a short. We had already went through 3 batteries and was needing it repaired. My husband said when he dropped it off it was like they wasn't even listening to him. We live 10 minutes away and by the time we got back home they had left a message on our answering machine to tell us to pick it up there was nothing wrong. Just the brake light was out. Thinking the short was in the brake light we called back. They told us the brake light had nothing to do with the battery. We didn't drop the jeep off to pay $46 dollars to change a bulb in a brake light that we can fix ourself. So they said there was a cable lose that they tightened. So I asked if they looked for a short and they said they ran a diagnostic test. Which if they would have listened we had already had done for free at auto zone. I told them that wouldn't find a short. They said well if your asking if we tested each wire we didn't. That is what we dropped it off for them to do. So I asked if the lose wire would fix our battery problem. They said it probably would. So I said so if it doesn't and it ruins another battery will you stand behind your work and replace the battery? They said no. So then I said so basicly we just paid you $30 so we could take our jeep back home pull the battery back out and have to take it to another mechanic, because you may or may not have fixed the problem? I had to call the main office to get my money refunded, because they would not make it right with us. In were I found out we should have been told they can not even run that kind of test there. He told me they should have told us that from the beginning. I told him if they would have listened instead of talking over us they would have known we had already ran the test they ran. It is pretty bad when a women with zero knowledge of vehicle repair has to tell them that test will not find a short. Run do not take your car there. Save money and have the same test ran for free at autozone. read more

Find a different auto shop. They will take advantage of you any chance they get. Took my car in for a diagnostic to find out why it was misfiring. An hour or so later they called me to tell me that there was some water in my gas tank. It was going to cost $100 to drain it.I asked if this was going to fix the issue. The man said yes. I don't know a lot about cars. So I thought he knew what he was talking about. Thinking that the diagnostic was done, I agreed to have the tank drained. When they were done they called me to tell me the gas tank was done, but now there is a coil that is going bad, and needs to be replaced for $200+. I told them not to replace that, because I think my problem is fixed. I get down there to pick up my car, and it is running exactly the same as when I dropped it off. I went back inside, and found out that when they had called me the first time they had not finished the diagnostic. Apparently, the guy on the phone didn't have any idea if draining the tank would fix my problem with my car. I am a single mom with 2 kids, and the $248.15 this visit just cost me is not easy to come by. I thought we were past the point where auto shops were taking advantage of people who don't know about cars. I have taken every car I've had to this place, and spent thousands of dollars on tires to maintenance only to be taken advantage of. I will not be coming back! read more
