Stopped by to have a screw taken out of one tire. Also the tire icon was lit up. I had psyched myself up to spend at minimum a labor and service charge for the tire repair. I was relieved to know the screw didn't break the treads. Then the nice gentleman gave me my keys and that was it. All four tires were inflated properly. I did buy a windshield wiper for the front. I had only replaced one of them a month or so ago. Yes I have been a customer for over 20 years and am glad the company work ethic is strong across the USA. read more

Discount Tire seems like a friendly neighborhood tire shop since they offer "free" tire rotation and flat patching. However, it's very clear that these services are simply a marketing tactic to sell more tires. We had a punctured front tire and came in to see if they could assist. After taking a look, they let us know that both front tires were very warn and should be replaced. The only thing is we had visited a different Discount Tire just a few weeks prior for a rotation/balance and nothing was mentioned. We were told they could attempt a patch on the punctured tire, but it was very likely not possible. The puncture was tricky, so I don't blame them for saying there was a low chance of success, but it didn't give me confidence knowing they were already hoping to sell us 2 new tires. We ended up taking the car to a different shop and paying less than $30 to get the tire patched. They also confirmed that both front tires still have plenty of tread left. read more

Came out of the hotel and saw my rear tire was flat. Yelped discount tire and found one 5 miles away and was able to get there after I filled my tire enough for the drive. Pulled in and they were outside waiting to check me in. They told me 1 hour to a hour and 45 minutes. Went and ate breakfast and walked back (about 45 min) and the tire had been replaced and ready to go. We have the extended warranty on the tires which I renewed and we're done. These guys are awesome here. We were at Home Depot and the hubs noticed the back tire was low. He thought it might be a leak in the valve stem. So in we pulled to Discount Tire which is known as America's Tire in California to have them check it out. We have an account in CA and it is honored throughout the country which is awesome! Anyway they got us right in and checked the tire. Come to find out it had a small pin hole in it from running over something. All the tire needs is a small patch and it's good to go. As a 23 year old, I know absolutely nothing about my vehicle. When a friend pointed out a bubble in my tire, I had no idea what to do. I reached out to a friend, Nolan Kistler, who works at the Keller, TX Discount Tire location on Davis Blvd. He immediately called Benny at the Fayetteville location to help me. Within a day, they had a tire for my Mercedes and were working with me to get the tire replaced. Although it took me a few days to get in, Benny was kind and so was everyone working there. I was in and out in 45 minutes. The associate that had helped me knew I had a doctor's appointment that morning and made sure to be transparent about times so I could potentially find another ride. He promised me I could make my appointment, and not only did I, but they beat their approximated time by 25 minutes. While I waited, they even let me borrow a phone charger and answered any and all questions my clueless self had regarding the tire. Absolutely recommend. As a European car driver, I typically would go to the dealership, but after my experience at Discount Tire in Fayetteville, I will always come here. WARNING: STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE. I have purchased tires through Discount Tire for the last time! The sales people are all about up selling you on anything they can possibly sell you. They push tires telling you they have a warranty, however, that warranty doesn't actually buy you anything but a replacement if the tire falls apart after you roll off the parking lot. I had bald tires after only 30,000 miles of use and when I asked about the warranty I was told it's for mileage not for tread. I was offered a $30 discount off my new set of tires when I was under the impression they would be replaced for free. When I asked to speak to the manager he would not meet with me. Instead he sent another guy who had overheard my original conversation and did nothing. He was sent to "deal" with me and explain how life works. This is a pathetic excuse for a business. They do nothing to help you and work very hard to take advantage of you. Everyone, especially Danny and Justin, who works at this establishment should be ashamed of themselves! read more

I went to have a tire repaired due to a screw and of course they had to do an evaluation and guess what? I needed a new tire and because my tread was so low, they were unable to repair it and wasn't going to due to safety. However, had I refused the service they would have let me drive away with screw in my tire.......explain that to me. Then after I purchased a new tire because a used one would be the same price as a new one, they tell me my lug nuts are not market for my car and they have to replace the whole set. Again, it is unsafe to let me drive off with off market lug nuts but not a problem with me driving off with a screw in my tire. Beyond disgusted with the customer service. They did not have my safety in mind, they had their bottom line in mind!!! You literally ruined my day with your lack of customer service and caring. I was reading the reviews and I see one lady was given a free used tire because they were concerned with her safety! Was she white? I believe she was. Scheduled appointment yesterday for 1:15pm to get tires rotated. I ended up leaving at 1:55pm to pickup my kids since my car had not left the spot I parked it in when I arrived. Very frustrating. Great place to get tires. The last time I bought my tires I purchased the roadside warranty with them. So today brought in my van because I have hit something on the side wall and blew it out. But when I showed up his computer system would not let him look up any roadside warranties and instead of trying to get me to buy something or argue they just replaced my tire for free. This is my 4th set of tires thru them on 3 different vehicles and I've never found a reason to complain. I ordered some replacement tires and new wheels for my truck. They have a good selection and the prices were reasonable. I brought my truck in early on a Saturday and the new set was installed. Monday morning I opened my garage and the right front tire was completely flat. Lacking an air compressor, I used a bicycle pump to put enough pressure in the tire to drive to a gas station with air. I drove to work at the U of A where I teach and called Discount Tire as soon as the opened. They told me to bring the truck in during my lunch break which I did and they took the flat off and put the spare on. Since they are only open until six I had to pickup the fixed tire on Saturday. The new tire had been fitted incorrectly to the wheel which caused the rapid deflation. Everyone I spoke to was extremely polite and professional so other than the shop's short work hours, I can't complain about the service. I just don't understand how a business that makes its living selling and installing tires can make such a basic error. read more

Woke up this morning, to a completely flat tire. Put the spare on, drove to work. Called the dealer as I had just bought the tires about 1.5 years ago through them. We have purchased tires over the years from this company without incident. However, I'm not sure how you can possibly test your work as a mechanic if you don't drive the vehicle which they don't as a company policy. We bought 5 brand new expensive truck tires here in the Spring of 2018 to the tune of $1400 or so; we brought the truck back twice because the tires were "square" after they installed them and the truck doesn't ride smooth anymore. We have even taken the truck in to this chain in other locations without satisfaction. Disappointing and won't buy from this company again; you get what you pay for....well sort of, still expensive but tires are very disappointing and the company's unwillingness to make it right even more so. read more

I recently ordered 4 tires for my vehicle over 9 days ago. Today I went to my scheduled appointment and waited in the waiting room. I was told that they did not have or could not find the tires that I had ordered. This was a huge inconvenience as I desperately needed the tires, had driven in from another town, cleared my schedule for the day and was already charged $530 a week ago. I asked for a refund but they said it would have to be *processed* and could take 3-5 business days, further putting off being able to purchase tires anywhere else. Also, they bizarrely asked if I could call my bank to see if they could get me the refunded money sooner? Very strange. Quite a waste of half a day... still waiting on the refund. I have had to come into the store twice in the past month for tire problems that I've had and even as someone who likes cars, going to the tire shop normally means bad news. However, I worked with Jaxson both of the times that I went in and he was amazing. Both times they got my tires fixed for free which is awesome, being a college student .
