Scammer and cheaters!! I went there yesterday to get my car inspected. The gentleman at the counter, let's call him Bob, informed me that he won't be able to do my inspection until my registration shows my current address. I told him that was fine, and we ultimately agreed do a courtesy check on the vehicle, which still costed me $10. After the check, he informed me that, "the car would probably pass the inspection, but it still needs some work". I asked him to elaborate and he told me that it would need roughly $600 worth of work, which ranged from the suspension, tie rods, etc. I told him unfortunately I won't be able to get that done at the moment, but I will be back tomorrow with my updated registration for the inspection. Today, I brought the car in for an inspection with my updated address. Bob and another gentleman, let's call him Jim, were at the counter. I approached the counter and Jim asked what I needed. I explained to him that I was returning to do an inspection with the updated address on my registration. He pulls up my file on my computer and says, "so are you getting these done before the inspection?" I explained to him I won't be able to get it done today. Jim interjects and arrogantly replies, "well I don't think you'll pass the inspection without getting these done." Suddenly, Bob looks over and calmly says to Jim, "no, she's fine". After a brief moment of Jim nods back and tells me to have a seat. These people clearly have a hand in who they choose to pass and fail the inspection. They manipulate people into believing they need more work than needed through devious tactics. They definitely lost my business and anyone I know personally, and I would highly caution anyone from coming here. read more

Absolutely the worst ripoff artists in the business. Horrible service, incompetent management, and ill-equipped mechanics. They must hire the vo-tech drug dropouts. And the credit payment system at CFNA is so obsolete that the 19th Century called and wants its horse shit back. I hope Firestone goes completely bankrupt. read more

After my wife's car decided to call it quits while heading home from a long trip on I-80, Firestone was the only repair shop within 20 miles that was open on a Saturday afternoon & willing to help a stranded person out. Being 100s of miles away, I explained over the phone to the friendly manager the situation & that it was likely the alternator. He was able to order a new one within an hour from a nearby auto parts store, while my wife's car was being towed to their shop. Within a little over 1.5hr, they had her back on the road so that she could make it home safely. They even stayed past closing for a few minutes just to finish the job & were extremely friendly/helpful throughout the whole ordeal. I wanted to provide an update based on my earlier review. I placed an update regarding my son breaking down in his car that was 200 miles away. The repair that was done locally in February was in need of replacement. We needed to scramble to get the repairs at a different auto repair shop and I wasn't about to pay for the same repair twice. I contacted Firestone of Hermitage and shared the information with them. I also contacted YELP and placed the comments in their system. They also followed up with me as well. The local Manager - Thomas was very helpful in addressing these issues. Do not recommend this place whatsoever. I ordered new tires from Tire Rack and sent them here to be installed. I was expecting installation to be $11.60 a tire plus tax, so around $50 or less. When it came time to pay, it ended up costing $83 and some change because they installed new Tire Pressure Sensors for $25 without asking for my approval first, even though the old ones were 11 months old and had less than 15,000 miles on them, and they can last for over 50,000 miles and 5 years. They also charged me $10 for a tire disposal fee even though I was taking my old tires home. Finally, they made me wait for almost 30 minutes after my car was done and pulled out of the garage. I will not be going to this place again. read more

TL;DR: Extremely friendly and helpful, saved us while on a family vacation! In July of 2016, we were on the final leg of a 2000-mile family road trip to Bar Harbor, Maine and back home to Ohio when I hit a shredded semi tire in the middle of I-80. It dragged the plastic guard under our car's front bumper down so that it scraped against the road, and loosened the heat shield on our catalytic converter so that it also dragged. I pulled over, called AAA for a tow truck, and about an hour and a half later, the driver took us to the Firestone in Hermitage, about eight minutes before they closed. I was prepared to be told that it was going to be an expensive fix or they weren't going to be look at it until the next day, which would require driving an hour each way with our other car after being picked up by relatives. However, they insisted that they would take care of it immediately, despite the fact that they were closing up, and proceeded to inspect our car, remove the damaged heat shield, and secure the front guard to the bumper so that we could make it home. After thanking them profusely, I drove the 50 remaining miles home without an issue, and the plastic guard is still secured to the bumper while our car is in our driveway waiting to get into our local repair shop. Thanks again to the guys at Firestone! Based on their professionalism and sincere concern for my family, I feel comfortable highly recommending them. read more
