I had been to this store before and went back to have the alignment and Car Care Package done. I was running 15 minutes late and called to make sure that it would not be a problem. I talked to Jeff True, Service Manager, who very courteously assured me that would not be a problem. When I arrived, Mr. True met me. He was as professional in person as on the phone. He was courteous and listened when I told him what services I had scheduled and would he mind explaining the functions. He explained in detail what would be done and about how long it would take. I was extremely impressed that Mr. True spent the time explaining the services in detail and answered all my questions and I never felt rushed. After my interaction with Mr. True in the future, I will schedule services but only if he is there. 9am SAT 7/13/24 Appointment confirmed on FRI 7/12/24 1:45pm Came at 9:05 am at the shop, they checked me in, I e applied for Firestone credit card, I was told 1h will be the service. 10:50am car still Not taken for the service (1.5h just waiting time). I think the online appointment system is not working properly. I've schedule another alignment for SUN 7/14/25 SUN at 12pm for another location. Let's see how it will go. A 2nd time will confirm my thoughts about the unprofessional approach to the appointments. Drove from Fort Drum, NY to this location for an alignment and tire rotation, which is a very routine service. I suppose the alignment and rotation were performed however the tires were not balanced which caused them to vibrate and lose air pressure during the drive back to the Base. Also, somehow my passenger side headlight was out which is honestly the most frustrating! I literally went in to have issues fixed but left with more problems. Fortunately, the Goodyear team on Fort Drum corrected the problems without any charges...needless to say, it was the worst service ever and I will not be returning to the Liverpool firestone location. read more

I have had multiple problems in this location over the years. This latest time they kept changing their mind about working on my vehicle causing me to stand and sit multiple times despite it being obvious that it causes me intense pain because of my bad back. I've also been at this location when a mechanic came in accusing them of selling his elderly parents nearly bald tires because they knew they could pawn them off on them. Some of the employees are friendly but many are rude and if you think they're giving you a good deal, I'd go elsewhere for a second opinion before you find yourself buying 'new' bald tires. read more

Today will be the last day I EVER come to this place to try to get any work on my car. The people I've dealt with since coming here these past 3 years have been remarkable. The last 2 managers especially Frank. He made me feel comfortable when arriving and leaving, but just last week I came in and found out Frank was no longer manager and there was another guy. when entering and making my appointment he already made me stand-offish because when I brought up Frank he stated I could go downtown to where he was, that comment was unnecessary and unprofessional because I use Firestone for the quality not who was hired. I brushed that comment off and stated that I would like to continue to receive my work from here. I actually had to cancel that appointment and today I tried making another and the manager was at it again. There was work done on my vehicle that isn't found in system that I've provided receipt for because for some reasons it's not in your guys system and he wasn't honoring them. I even tried asking can I provide the records I have from the work that was done and stated that Frank would try and help and not be so quick to not then he stated again well Franks downtown. He is a poor manager to run this place. If anything he should want to continue people coming to this location not drive them away. Again STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION THAT NEW MANAGER IS RUDE AND UNCARING. read more

I've had many decent experiences with this company in general but this place went above and beyond the good service they normally provide! I was on my way home with my dog when my tire was punctured by a screw and quickly started leaking. I had just passed this Firestone and quickly turned around and came here (having just moved to the state and never been to this specific location before), and with 2 minutes before closing time, apologized for the last minute request and asked if they could help me. They agreed to put air in the tire, as they were very busy trying to finish the last job of the day, but when they discovered just how bad the situation was, that putting air in the tire wouldn't make much of a difference as you could easily see the screw and hear the air leaking from it, they dropped everything and fixed it. They were even friendly to my dog. I will be sure to give this place my business in the future. Great customer service! PS Thank you so much also to the other customer who was kind enough to be okay with their vehicle service being delayed so the mechanic could fix my tire. Very bad service. They keep asking me replace items on my car during the every-year inspection, but never solve the real problems. Things go ridiculous this time. A week ago, I noticed there was noise when I started my car. My husband thought that might be some thing wrong with the alternator. We told the technician that before we left. But when we picked up the car, they said the problem was on the battery and starter, and they replaced them. The ridiculous thing was, they said there was still noise, and they don't know what it was...And they hoped we could go back if we met some new problems. Today, my car was broken on my way to the office, I cannot start it any more. I trail it to another auto repair store. Just like what I and my husband thought, the technician thought the problem was on the alternator!!!! After replacing the alternator, the noise totally went away. It is sweet that Firestone send coupon every month, but I just don't know why they cannot stop replacing items with no problems and keep charging money from my pocket! I don't know how their technicians work and how they can call themselves professional man. BE AWARE if you need their services. I don't know what is your experience here, but I will definitely not go back here any more. read more

Avoid this place if you value your safety! I had my tires changed here at the Firestone on Old Liverpool. One of the tires was not put on properly, and nearly came off while driving! If that happened, I may not be alive today! This place is full of incompetence. Clearly, there's no checks and balances to catch mistakes. I'm not sure if they are under new management from previous reviews by users, but I had the BEST experience here (as far as having to go to a car place, that is). I was here twice this week (because I wanted the tires they only had in stock at Cicero). They greet you immediately when you walk in the door. I worked with Tony who was courteous AND personable! He actually smiles and is friendly with customers. He explained every option to me and every cost. I went in with coupons from the Firestone website and he quickly entered those in with no hassle. I got the lifetime alignment (with coupon), new battery after Geico roadside jumped me that morning (with coupon), an oil change (just 19.99 with coupon), nys inspection (I have a 2010 Altima) and it passed and I purchased the buy 3 get 1 one free tires because I hated mine that wouldn't barely drive on snow. Tony actually walks you through everything and doesn't dump you on another associate ... He offered to have me get the tires the next day (as they transfer between stores immediately) OR I could wait until he worked 2 days later so I could stay with the same associate. I felt comfortable with this store and him so I waited until he worked again in 2 days. Oh... And they do NOT work on commission!! I asked straight out (cause that's me). The entire staff is very nice and very knowledgeable, & best of all will always give you recommendations for more to be done to your car, but will never pressure you to get more. BEWARE! This place is price gouge central! I have a 1994 Ford F-150 pick up. It's a Florida Vehicle without an ounce of rust. I took it here for two lights on my dash and state inspection. They called with their estimate and I questioned their price on one of many items they said needed replaced. (They were going to charge me $219.00 for a part that can be bought at any autoparts store for $65.00) After our call they said they would adjust the rest of their pricing as they "don't price gouge." Yeah right. They replaced a clock spring and two rear brake drums for $1,100.00. Uh....Thanks for the adjustment! I was charged $118.00 for labor on the clock spring that I just found a guy on youtube repair in 4 minutes and 46 seconds!!!!! If this was a new vehicle, or a heavily engineered 80's or 90's European car, I could see $1,100 for the problems....but a late model F-150? One of the simplest vehicles on the road with tons cheap and abundant parts? C'mon. They nailed me, Please, don't let them nail you!!!!! read more

I replaced new front tires in January, I asked for all season tires, but when I get to replace my rear tires at Firestone in different location in March, the technician told me that the front tires are summer tires, so I have to pay extra to change from tires to all season tires. I have been to numerous Firestone locations, but this store is the best one I have been to. I brought my vehicle in for an oil change and had some issues with the driver side. They told me that both my outer tie rods were busted, after I had both tie rods replaced from another Firestone store in January. They went to the extent of calling the Firestone store I went to previously and finding out what part they used for the tie rods and upgraded the quality of the part. The Store Manager, Grant was very professional and accommodating. The service staff did a fantastic job of fixing my vehicle and took their time of making sure everything was working properly. I will definitely return to this location!! read more
