The young woman who helped me make the appointment was very efficient and extremely helpful while I waited for my inspection that took about 45 minutes. It was so painless. She informed me the gentleman who inspected my car was a man who had retired but Carmen asked him to work for him after he had closed his business. There was a small waiting room (with bathroom) I could wait in while the inspection took place. There's plenty of parking outside. It's on a corner of a busy intersection but not impossible to get out of if you turn right out of the parking lot! The next morning, I had to check out of my hotel so I came to G and V to wait. One of their lovely staff members gave me a ride to a local diner and even picked me up after! Here is our experience:…read more My husband bought a new truck through Carvana which had a few safety things that needed repair upon arrival and was covered under Carvanas insurance/warranty. We had to use a "Carvana approved" location, with Monro on Brewerton Rd being one of them. My husband drops it off, and we get the phone call of the few things that need to be repaired (things we knew about already) and my husband reminds them that yes that's fine and that it's to go through the insurance company (silver rock). He goes to pick it up and they tell him it will cost $200 and they refused to go through insurance... my husband was pissed, rightfully so, because this was agreed upon at drop off and was supposed to be taken care of. Monro refused to even contact silver rock about the repairs. He paid the $200 and immediately called Carvana to rectify the situation-- it should be noted that Carvana has been very nice to work with and they were going to investigate why one of their "approved locations" was not being compliant with their insurance agreement. It was just a very unprofessional situation and judging from the *many* one star reviews, this is not a place worth bringing your car too. Word of mouth is a big deal... do better, Monro.

Empire Tire was quick and efficient at doing an internal patch for me. The name brand tire place I went to before said, "Oh, that's too much damage, you'll have to buy a new tire." The Empire guys were common sense and got me back rolling. I haven't had any problems in 2 weeks, so I think I'm all right.
