Had a noon appointment for a simple oil change and tire rotation. I show up 10 minutes early so I wouldn't miss my appointment and wouldn't keep them waiting. 30 minutes, then 45 go by and then a full hour since I had been there. I can't wait any longer so I tell them I have to leave. The lady tells me they are probably working on big jobs. I asked if it was better to just walk in and she said she didn't know. What's the point of an appointment if they don't really honor them? They over stack appointments so heavy that any waiting customer is going to be screwed out of their time. Third time in a row I've waited over 30 minutes to get my truck in. This is ridiculous. Last time going there. Btw, their men's bathroom would send a trucker gagging. That was terrible. I purchased all new tires at the end of November. I scheduled the appointment and stayed while they worked on it. David at the front desk was super nice and accommodating not only to me but other customers, even the rude ones. The tires were a decent price which is why I always come here for tires. read more

It's sad that you have to double check Firestone's work after they work on you vehicle. Took the wife's van there to replace a tire and they put the spare back up under then van so I thought. So I noticed as we were about to pull into the driveway that the tire was almost touching the ground so I had to wind it back up to where it was suppose to be. Could have caused a wreck if it caught on the road and cause damage to the vehicle. Update: had my car in for service and after it was done they said they checked the battery and said I needed it replaced. Well I told them I had it replaced not even a year ago. I dont know what battery they tested but I'm sure it wasn't mine. So I took my car to advanced auto parts and had them test the battery and it was fine. In the pic on the left was Firestone's on the right a day later was advanced auto parts. 2 completely different readings. Yeah done going here! I have been going to Firestone in Pekin, IL for years, this year 2022 something has changed the service has changed and no communication. I make appointments for my oil changes and sometimes it can take up to 2 and 3 hours and they know I am waiting. This is the last time I will have them touch my car. Never Never Again!!!! read more
