Believe it or not, after my experience and seeing how the owner is reaching out NOW, I'm not surprised that he has "no record" of my order from over 5 years ago. As my order got delayed and delayed without any communication only then to insult me over the phone, I wouldn't exactly call this owner "detail oriented." On what planet would I be out to destroy a small business? If I wanted to do that, I just wouldn't use the service, which I don't. The Yelp review is to protect other consumers, not to directly kill the business. The owner seems to be doing that on his own, hence the "concerned owner response" over 5 years later. UPDATE: I only wrote this second review to show the time gap between experience and response from owner. I don't want this guy to come off looking like he cares. He doesn't. Especially now that he's asking me for receipts over 5 years later. FINAL UPDATE: Since this owner refuses to take responsibility, I'll post the meta-data showing we actually did correspond in late 2020. I was unable to get my deliver even though I placed my order two weeks in advance. I understand…read morethat due to the fires I was not able to get my delivery. However, my issue is not really that. Despite taking the day off from work, making sure my distance wouldn't be an issue and being notified they would not be showing up only 30 minutes before delivery. It was the fact that At no tome did I feel like the customer. They did respond to my request for quote quickly but took over a week to get back to me when I requested a delivery. I had to reach out to them which was difficult as they don't answer the phone and only text when they want. I was told that they where locked out of their Yelp account, again not my issue, but since no one else got back to me I went with them as the price quoted was fair. After I booked I received no confirmation so I reached out again to make sure there was no problem and we where good. So I'm just really disappointed in the lack of readiness to be a Yelp business, preparedness to handle situations and lack of overall customer service and the fact that I was left with no wood . To be fair after they threw their hands up in the air that morning they did call me back that afternoon and said they may be able to pick up wood from a friends yard. I thanked them but had made different arrangements. That is why I gave them 3 stars and not 1.

Never trust this company. I ordered firewood from Kyle and he brought it out the next day. When I…read morewas stacking the wood, I noticed that it was unusually heavy for dry firewood. I found out why the when I had my first fire... the wood wouldn't burn, it was not properly seasoned. I told Kyle about this via text and he thought it was odd but he said he believed me. He asked that I give it a week and try burning another batch and then let him know how it went. If it was the same result he said he would bring out some wood from another yard that had been around for 2 years. I had another fire the next week with the same result. In order to keep a fire going I had to keep the gas on the entire time. I texted Kyle about this four times and called him a couple of more times and he never responded. It's bad enough getting an inferior product but being lied to by the owner is the cause for me writing this poor review.
