Always great to dine in. Don't order a large take out order. We were having a retirement lunch at work. They forgot so much of the order. They made it right, but still forgot a side salad, which I didn't feel like going back a second time to get. Basically gave them money for the salad. We had a lovely dinner out. The ambience is pretty much what you would expect from a family run Italian restaurant. The decor is somewhere along the lines of family interpretation of Olive Garden. Plenty of seating. We were seated quickly. And had the most delicious bread. My husband ordered the lobster raviolis. My daughter had spaghetti and meatball. And I ordered the pizza. Margarita. Lobster ravioli, was definitely a 10 out of 10. Very rich and delicious. My daughters, spaghetti, and meatball, we're a 10 out of 10 for her and she ate practically everything. Pizza margarita was very delicious and had leftovers for a few days. We also ordered the chocolate mousse cake for my husband's birthday. It was decadent, dark and delicious. We started with the $11 Milano salad that was supposed to come with olives, tomatoes, peppers, and mozzarella. Ordered the Shrimp Diavolo which was very flavorful and came out hot just the way I like my food, my only critique is the proportion vs. price return do not match, I feel like there should have been more pasta and should at least come with a salad, but the dish was absolutely delicious and I would order again. We drove 1.5 hours to eat here based on a friend's recommendation. We absolutely loved this restaurant! When we first walked in, we were warmly greeted by several staff members. Within minutes we had our beverages and the bread..... oh my goodness, the bread! Hot, fresh and absolutely delicious. I ordered the Shrimp Alfredo. The shrimp was large and cooked to perfection. The Alfredo sauce was superb. My husband ordered the Linguine Tutto Mare, which was a mixture of mussels, scallops and shrimp, sauce and pasta. It was wonderful as well. First time here since it changed from Pusan Korean Restaurant to Milanos. I was craving some heavy carbs and figured I'd give it a shot. The atmosphere is nice. Open floor plan with an array of both tables and booths. Low enough lighting (plus the soft italian instrumentals playing) to give it a romantic vibe if you want a date night, but not so low as to make it too romantic for a casual solo or family dining trip. One wall is all murals of famous Italian architecture, otherwise the decor is classy and simple with just wine bottles and mirrors. Service was quick and friendly, and I was waited on within moments of being seated with fresh garlic knots and my drink on the table in no time. I ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms for an app and the Spaghetti The Works. The app: 4 large mushroom caps with a heaping pile of crab stuffing and (the BEST part) resting in a creamy sauce perfect for dipping the garlic knots in. The sauce was a mix of alfredo and marinara, and it was definitely the highlight of the app and main meal! The Spaghetti The Works was just OK. It's the main reason for the lack of stars. As the main part of my meal, I was expecting better even though it's exactly as other reviews stated it would be. It was basically all the types of spaghetti available on the menu in one dish. Meat sauce, marinara sauce, meatball, italian sausage, and sauteed mushrooms. Spaghetti is probably my all time favorite food, and it's hard to mess it up so I'm not saying it was BAD. I definitely enjoyed it. I'm just saying for an italian restaurant it could have been better. The meatball was my least favorite. Dry and completely unseasoned. The italian sausage was okay, but nothing special. The meat sauce wasnt really flavorful, but the extra marinara helped it out there; however, one of the sauces was really watery. The pasta ended up having the sauce on top, but sat in a bowl of red tinted pasta water. Like I said, not bad .. but room for improvement. Of course I still had to have dessert... and of course I couldnt decide. So I ordered two. The classic Tiramisu and also a Lemoncello Marscapone Cake. OMG.. I thought the mushroom sauce was my favorite until I tried these. I can't decide which dessert is better! The lemoncello is two layers of cake with a light and refreshing lemoncello marscapone (obviously) cream between/on top. And the tiramisu was exactly what it should be,and I was happy to find that there was LOTS of coffee soaked in there! I can't give them zero stars because: I'll start with the good. The bread was delicious. They huge garlic knots with garlic and with some butter, they're seriously delicious. Our waiter was also extremely nice and took great care of our table and the whole staff actually was really nice. It also seemed they were inclusive with their hiring, which was nice. Now the bad. The sauces that were on the pasta were quite heavy and really disgusting. My husband got the chicken moto mid and the sauce made me seriously sick it was so disgusting. My sauce wasn't too bad and the meat portions were definitely nice but they definitely need to revamp their sauces. Italian food is very hard to mess up in my opinion. Prices are fair but definitely won't go back to spend money because the entrees were that bad. Calamari was pretty bad too, it wasn't melt in your Mouth it was chewy and flavorless. read more

Tried Milano's for the first time tonight for carry out only after finding out Olive Garden is only giving two bread sticks with each to go meal... honestly, was not down to pay Olive Garden prices for two breadsticks. Anyways, Milano's did not disappoint. I had the chicken primavera and was surprised at the amount and quality of the vegetables in it. Everything from squash to broccoli to artichoke hearts. It was DELICIOUS. The sauce was also good however due to the carry out it gave more time for the oil to separate.. that's okay though, to be expected. My son had the kids chicken Alfredo and his own words were "I have a stomach ache but I can't stop eating" so there's the 5 year olds addition to the review. Husband got the Milano's special and my nephew got the shrimp and scallops Alfredo. All happy customers as well. One area for improvement. I ordered a Cesar salad and the dressing was already on the salad leaving it slightly soggy by the time it got home. The Cesar dressing was great, still ate majority but would recommend dressing on the side for to go orders. Now the real kicker, that really impressed me. We had an entire large sized pizza box FULL of rolls. Had to of been 20+ rolls in there. THAT was pretty epic. I have been to many Italian restaurants all over but I'm not impressed with this one. To start out our waiter did not know his menu and he had to go ask what the Tortellinos were stuffed with and the person he asked didn't know either. So I ordered the Carbonara but again I was disappointed because I never had this anywhere with marinara sauce mixed in. But the biggest disappointment was I had to go ask where my dinner was because my husband was halfway through his already. We did not take any leftovers and we will not be back. We were on a trip across the United States, headed home. We were given a recommendation for this restaurant from our hotel. Because of the pandemic every restaurant was closed, but many were offering take out, including Milano's. I had a house salad and two meatballs in sauce. My husband had loaded spaghetti, a salad and garlic bread. The salad was hearty and crisp and the meatballs very juicy and delicious. My husband enjoyed his spaghetti which had sausage, meat sauce and mushrooms. Really very flavorful. The soft hot garlicky rolls were very delicious and comforting. Restaurants are really stressed and are barely hanging on with this shutdown. We were happy to patronize this little restaurant. We will certainly return when we are in the area in the future.
