I ask for the grail sauce because of a medical condition I'm supposed to not eat red sauce And of course, when I picked the pizza up, they technically were closed so by the time I got back to the house and saw it had red sauce, I tried calling nobody answered, and I couldn't take it back plus the toppings weren't great. We drove the 48 minutes to try this pizza heralded as the state's best pizza. We ordered the Deep pan supreme. First, there is no way to get a half and half Pizza so you have to agree on what you want. Or order more than one. The wait staff was friendly enough, but they were not overly attentive. They were all clearly in high school and I did not see an adult on site. As we waited for our pizza I did notice the racks of canned goods and supplies in the kitchen so if you were hoping that the Alfredo was house-made you would be disappointed. When we did receive our pizza it looked great, and there was quite a lot of cheese on it. The flavor was so good but the bread was not thick like Chicago style pan pizza. It reminded me a lot of Indian fry bread that was too dense. The reason for only a three-star review is the fact that the teenage boy that was working stood behind the counter for the entire time we were there and picked the zits on his face and arms. Whether or not he is actually handling the food, I have no idea. However he did bring us our pizza so I was rather icked out. I kept all of this from my husband because he is a germaphobe and would not have eaten anything after driving so far to get it. Not going to lie. I like it quite a bit. My father would be telling me to hit 5 star as he routinely drives 30miles to get a pizza here because he says it's the best he's ever had. I like it but not as much as him. I do like their specialty pizzas. We went to the lunch buffet one time hoping to try a wide variety of the special ones, but they mostly put normal stuff out. I can say it's the first pickle pizza I've ever had. Although I think I preferred their Philly cheesesteak pizza even more. They also should get your business just because they really seem to care about the customers and the community. I ordered the garlic parmesan wings with a side of jalapeño ranch (they make it homemade), deep dish meat lovers pizza, and loaded cheese bread with bacon and sausage. The wings tasted excellent, crispy with good flavor. After trying the jalapeño ranch, I asked for a couple more cups because I could've drank it straight out of a jar. The deep dish pizza was some of the best pizza i've ever had. I've been to NYC and had NY style pizza, I'm from Michigan and have had Detroit style pizza, but this pizza beat them out of the water. Crispy crust with what I found out to be five pounds of cheese! The whole pizza weighed seven pounds. The cheesy bread was really good. I smothered my jalapeño ranch in it because again, the ranch was that good! Had a scoop of the lemon pie gelato and wish I would've got another scoop! The service was excellent. Oh My Goodness!!! - Delicious Ooey Gooey Deep Dish is in Elgin, OK. Definitely worth the drive. We are always on the look out for a deep dish pizza and come to find out there was a scrumptous one not that far away. We ordered a deep dish with pepperoni, sausage and beef and it was so yummy! If you see the pictures you may think "That does not look like deep dish, it has cheese on top!" And you are correct, but it was delicious and I actually enjoyed the additional caramelized cheese on top. The owner said the sauce on top was just not pretty enough and did not look like pizza to him so he put his own twist on it. He prepares the crust and lower layers first, cooks them, pulls it out to add more sauce, toppings and cheese on top and puts it back in the pizza oven to finish off. And it works; it was delicious! The crust was thick and held up to the 6 lbs of toppings but was cooked all the way through and still tender and flaky. The toppings were flavorful and moist, the sauce rich and tomatoey and the cheese was gooey and crusty at the same time. Really enjoyed it and will be back. We also ordered a small batch, 6, of the traditional Buffalo chicken wings and they were delicious too. Wonderful flavor, and the chicken was tender and moist. Not to mention they were big for chicken wings, lots of meat on them. Service was small town friendly and attentive. Building is plain and unassuming but clean. They also had 8, I think, flavors of ghellatto available. Unfortunately I was too stuffed to try any but they looked creamy and very tempting. To top it all off the price was unbelievable. For the gigantic deep dish (over 6 lbs of pizza), 6 chicken wings and two drinks the cost was only around $25. They are only charging $15.99 for that huge pizza! I did tell the owner that was ridiculous! So if the deep dish is a little more expensive next time, blame me. But we felt like we were robbing him. It is definitely worth $25 for the deep dish pizza alone. Will say if you are looking to dine in, heads up that the staff was not wearing masks. So if that makes you uncomfortable during these Covid times you may prefer to choose take out and pick-up at drive through window. Cassie our waitress order takes filling our drinks was polite and sweet. Very helpful and informative and helped us get our pic with 1 of our friends moving away. The other guy came out and said hi, was cooking all the yummy pizzas. Cauliflower pizza I didn't get but 2 friends did. They loved it. We all had the honey barbecue chicken and loved it. Okay pizza - far better than Fat Boys but still just decent. Our Meat Lovers pizza was over cooked a bit but the cheese was good! We ate inside and expected a little more from being "served". On a whim, I decided to try Pizza Corral. I ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pizza and the house specialty calzone. The calzone was very tasty. It's basically a medium Pizza folded in half if you get a small and a large pizza folded in half for a large. The creamy Italian really sealed the deal. I also got a pepperoni pizza. I had ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pizza. Honest mistake sure, but being as I was the first person in the door when they opened it makes it a little irritating. Itech a sample of the gelato and it was very creamy and tasty. I will probably go back for that and the calzone. The pizza did not impress me. Not nearly enough sauce for my taste and the crust was different than I'm used to and wasn't particularly enjoyable to me. I don't think it's particularly bad pizza it's just not my brand. So as far as the price goes the large pizza with 2 toppings (even though I only got one), a small calzone, and a 2L of soda ran me $25 and change. read more

I'm not sure why the other ratings are low. They are always friendly and after the first few months kinks were worked out the service improves every time we visit. The pizza is delicious, fresh, hot, and many options to choose from. I haven't tried the calzones yet but the cheesy bread is perfect! My husband is pretty picky when it comes to pizza and we come here at least once a week to eat. They also offer a salad bar that is good and also fresh! read more

I wish I could give a half star. The food has taken a severe drop in quality and is little more than frozen pizza now. It was 1,000,000 times better than fat boys could ever hope to even think about being. There was flavor! We didn't get heartburn! It was even amazing cold! We ordered last week and.... even hot, it was completely unappetizing. The crust was obviously frozen. The sauce was exactly like fatboys, flavorless and far too acidic. I asked the girl at the front of house if anything had changed, knowing it had and she claimed it was the same quality it had always been. I asked to speak to the owner, as something tasted off. She got extremely rude and began cursing at me, and said that if they were using the same supplier as fatboys it was none of my f**king business. I never once mentioned fatboys to her. Good job, you just lost repeat business due to being rude and making disgusting food. I really hope they go back to how it was a few months ago.
