Then i had to go back to see if they could put my head liner on better it was loose and just sagging by the windshield. not even a 3 week later there was a crack in the windshield with no rock chip. it was a stress crack but the owner would not take responsibility and said that there is a rock chip but there was no chip just a line from the stress. now i am down 700 dollars and will be taking it to Telsa now. I will get conformation on the windshield from Tesla. Just not worth the head ace.

This place is a preferred provider for state farm and that meant there was an extra warranty that went with the windshield and also just a very easy communication between the two. The worker on the phone was super nice and helpful and got me set up within a few days for a home visit appointment. The technician called when they were close to my property replaced and recalibrated my windshield. The whole time they communicated what they were doing and were fairly quick with it all. One thing to keep in mind, which I didn't even think about, is if you have tinted windows they do not provide tinting. So if that's something that you need, either do that as a separate part of your claim if using insurance, or find a spot that does both if on a time crunch. It doesn't take away from the fact that they were wonderful to work with though.

I am sure they do good work no doubt about it but for the average joe they dont give estimates unless you leave the vehicle to be taken apart. To me they appeared very much in the pocket of the insurance and I did not trust them to deal with my vehicle. I went to a family owned immaculate body shop that is good to deal with. This fix it place am sure they are great but seem to be for high dollar newer vehicles and its hands off if you leave it. Even with other shops be aware that if you take the vehicle it will be kept and if they total it you will get a rental but you will not get access to the vehicle again unless you buy it back. That is with ANY shop. My case was for an older van old guy hit it they accept liability totally that is not disputed. In summation no matter how good fix it is the meeting was icy even though I was as polite as I could be when they saw I was not a rich old lady they almost "ran me off" and were not good to deal with for myself. I look at total experience not just if they fix things good which I am positive they do.

This is the 3rd time I've taken my vehicle to Avalos for tinting. The first 2 times went off…read morewithout a hitch and I was very happy. I decided I wanted to take my front windows darker to combat the Las Vegas sun. Everything went well, the windows look great but as I sat down in the driver seat, I noticed black on my passenger side window. I got out to take a look and noticed that my entire window stripping had been melted. I asked the sweet lady at the front if they use heat guns when removing/installing and she confirmed they did (they had to remove the previous tint). She went into the back and brought out another lady and I explained that my window stripping did not look like this when I got there. She since has told me that this was not because of them, it's because of the sun and heat when rolling my window up and down. Mind you, their establishment is indoors, so if it wasn't like that when I gave it to them, there is only one way it could have happened. They did not offer me any sort of discount, or even an apology. Unfortunately, due to this incident, I will not be returning to this establishment. $200 and a melted window stripping later, I'll now have to pay to get this replaced. **UPDATE: they have since reached out and apologized and have offered to cover the cost of replacement.**
