I realize their jobs are stressful dealing with sick, cranky, inpatient customers...but come on now!!! I literally drove the 35 miles to Frankfort area because the clinics in Louisville and Shelbyville had 4hr or longer wait times...but this lady was very rude. The wait time here was only an hour, and there was about 5 patients there,but I wanted to ask her "What's your problem"..it wasn't just me she was rude too, it was everyone. At last, I was seen,prescription called in to Wallyworld and flu test that made me scream like a big ole baby..but negative for FLU...THANK YOU FLU SHOT IN OCTOBER!!!

When I called the office first thing the next morning (August 14th, 2026) as well as two other times that day trying to talk to a provider to get a different medication, no one ever called me back. At the end of the day, it turned out the provider called my pharmacy prescribing the same medicine that I had been prescribed the day before!! It was as if no one had paid attention to what I had described to the woman answering the phones that Friday. From the beginning it was obvious in how she spoke to me that this woman wasn't very interested in providing detailed messages to the provider. Instead, she was more concerned about getting off the phone, while in the background I heard several women talking and laughing and being very loud. It is very possible that the ball was dropped when providing communication to the provider. But the provider should have at the very least checked the file before prescribing the very same medication. In addition, I should have been given a phone call to verify what I needed. Usually when I have gone in to Concentra in the past, I have seen Dr. Sheela and she has always been great. However this recent experience with staff, and the other provider working that day, has made me never want to go back there. Their lack of detail, lack of professionalism, and leaving me without the care I needed was a detriment to my health. I went elsewhere that weekend to get the correct medication I needed. I will never go back to Concentra.

I went last week suspecting Covid or flu with an awful sinus pressure headache. I went back today and was greeted with a condescending provider who told me I was wrong and not having sinus pressure, that I was have a STROKE and needed to go the ER. My blood pressure was low to normal, I'm in my 20s with no risk factors and I was never given even the slightest neurological exam to warrant her to believe I was having a stroke. Then, she suggested I drive myself to the ER while she believed I was possibly having a stroke. I went to another provider and it was confirmed that I have a sinus infection and a double ear infection. I'm not sure if they were annoyed that I was back and my only complaint was sinus pressure and headache, so they intended to "scare" me not knowing I'm also in the medical field or if they are actually incompetent and should not be practicing.

Needs better signage because we were told we had to wait outside last visit, didn't have to wait outside this visit. No clue what happened there. Management step your game up and make life easier on your understaffed locations. Not fair to employees and doctors who have to jump through hoops in order to get a COVID test for patients. What should have taken no more than an hour at best has now taken 3 hours and I'm writing this still inside the location. Pitiful, fast pace.

We checked in with about 10 other people. Their process was streamlined and efficient. We were in a room in 1/2 hour. All personal were great but a special shout out to Dr. Smith. I have never seen a doctor with such wonderful manners and concern and compassion. He was funny and had my mom at ease immediately. We both loved him. He walked us to the exit door. Third time I've been here to get some Lab work done. The place is always clean, they have always…read moretaken all the precautions due to the pandemic, the most I have had to wait is no more than 15 minutes and that's including signing in, waiting in the lobby and having the blood work completed all in those 15 min. The staff even though they are short handed (You notice because there's only 2 employees that welcome you and they do the blood work as well) are very welcoming, kind and friendly. One of the times I went was because my wife needed some blood work, she is VERY afraid of needles, specially when it comes to blood work since she cant stand the sight of blood so when I was signing us in I informed the lady on front about it and they let me come in with her, hold her hand and stay with her, the employee talked to my wife about random things while doing the blood work to make my wife think about other things instead of the needle in the arm, which helped her a lot. They where very thoughtful. Today I went in and there was a 3rd employee which ended up being a student... They asked me if I wouldn't mind if she was there and if she could do the blood work, which I agreed to and she did a great job! She was very sweet, seemed a little nervous and shaky but who isn't when starting right?! We even had a little conversation about Star Wars thanks to my cap LOL. If you live around the area and need some Lab work, this is the place to go.

My issues are with the lack of seating inside this location. EVERY patient that was waiting sat at least 1 chair apart. So I wasn't able to sit next to my daughter who we found out had strep. Nobody got up to move or anything. There's no tv, radio, etc... as you wait. So it was very awkward. My main issue is that there are SEVERAL options for my sexual orientation, then there are SEVERAL more options for my pronouns. But for my biracial daughters race I only got to pick 1 option. I told the receptionist that she's black and white. I was told to pick Black since that's what she relates to the most... BUT IT'S NOT. She's being raised by her white mother.. can I get some credit there? If St. E's trying to be so "up with the times". Then why are they still so behind?

I thankfully questioned it and did not give him the medication; I followed up with his PCP who confirmed it was the wrong dosage (also stated it was the wrong medication for his malady) and stated, "those places will kill you." Pick an appointment time and show up on time. But the receptionist always has a problem. The mother has to call her. Then this time I was told the mother has to fill out the online registration. Why does it matter who fills out something online? Then I was told they needed the mothers license even though I am the one bringing her in. The requirements change even though the mother has told them every time that its ok for me to bring her. This time I was told that the mother has to come in and fill out a form. You are not allowed to take the form with you. If the mother could come in then I wouldn't be bringing. I had made an appointment online. When I got there we were told it was an hour and a half wait. When I asked about our appointment we were told it isn't really an appointment its just a hold. But if we were late for the appointment then we would not have a hold. The real reason for the wait that day was because they only had one PA working. If they had told me that then it would have made sense. So go to First Care if you want just dont expect to get through the door. I take my granddaughter to the doctor anytime she is sick. I don't get treated like that at any of the other places. Beware.
