My dogs looked forward to our sessions with Khaled and their ears perk right up at the mention of his name.

But then came the excuses and lack of response to texts and phone calls. Different people we getting different stories (he *had* a FB page so it was easy to contact other people that were also waiting). Then he took his FB page down as people started to post negative reviews. Some people got dogs, some did not. He just stopped all communication with no explanations. Avoid this guy AT ALL COSTS!

I sent the owner, Rick, a check for 500 in March to secure a spot on a waiting list for a chocolate lab. He acknowledged he had received my check a few days after I sent it. As the date for puppy pick up approached I tried reaching out to Rick with questions regarding when I could come pick up my puppy. I texted him daily for 3 days and received no response. I then started calling (no answer, full mailbox) Facebook messaged and emailed. No response. He finally responded to me 5 days later saying some puppies had been stolen by an employee and he was "sorting things out". However he communicated on FB that the puppies were sick. I continued to try reaching him for several days to no avail. Several families were in the same boat (no response to repeated attempts to contact) and we were communicating our confusion and concern on his Facebook page. Shortly thereafter he took down his Facebook page. I have since heard that some families did get their puppies but several did not. I also heard from some families that the price originally quoted increased substantially once it was time to pick up. So we're left bitterly disappointed with no explanation and no puppy. There are several reputable, licensed breeders in N.H. Choose one of them and steer clear of this guy.

We have an 8 month old bull terrier puppy who has a great temperament but needed to develop her…read moremanners and had a couple of behaviors that we couldn't get on top of. We started with a manners class that was taught by Jess. Jess is able to bring the best of the dog training knowledge base into her practice, and then she helps owners apply it to the unique temperament of their dog. While it was an 8 person/dog class, we walked out with particular ways to work with our puppy that got us the results we wanted. She did this with each person/dog in the class. As a result of that very positive experience we contacted Jess to work with us on some specific problem behaviors. One had to do with walking on a leash. Our puppy would walk for a bit and then go totally nuts jumping at whomever was the walker, grabbing and biting the leash, and generally being totally out of control. Jess, with her dog focused observational skills, was able to diagnose what the trigger was, helped us establish ways to shift away from that, and set us up to be successful. It worked. We stuck with what she said and walks are now totally pleasant. Jess listens, sends extensive feedback and follow-up, and does NOT have a cookie cutter approach. I highly recommend her.

I took my two dogs to The Barking Dog to be boarded for their first time for three days. I called…read moreonce a day to check in and everyone said they were doing well but there were no videos being posted which concerned me. After I called they did post one that included my pups but I had been told that there would be one a day and the video had only a single clip of them. My dogs come from a shelter and I needed to know that they were getting out to play with other dogs and people and not just being cooped up in their 'condo'. When I picked them up they gave me a report on how they did in the pool and during playtime with a picture on each and they had been given a free bath so they smelled great. I understand that videos are a pain to post but that was my big hang up. I was upset when I arrived because I didn't even know for sure whether or not they had been given bedding. I was never shown where they were actually going to stay after it was set up and the other dogs I saw during the tour either had their own bedding or did not have much. I would take my dogs here again only on the contingency that videos would actually be posted and I had verification that they were given bedding. Otherwise, I would have absolutely brought bedding rather than just two measly blankets if I knew that might be the case. My dogs are so precious to me and I just needed a little bit more reassurance without feeling like there was some dishonesty happening. A place like The Barking Dog is difficult to maintain and dog hair is a pain to clean. I am very grateful for all the work the staff does and the time they take to ensure they get exercise and socialization. Thank you for taking care of Emmie and Myson. I hope that if there is a next time things can be a little more cut and dry.

Nearly every time…read moreat pick up, they had to pee so badly it lasted for what seemed like 5minutes, and were so thirsty they drank 2 bowls of water. There was also urine or feces on their bedding after boarding- with no explanation or apology offered. We stopped going there. After nearly 10 years, and with a new puppy, we thought we would give BD another try. Practically from day 1, things were poor. The "Live" video never worked. When it did, it showed the dogs running around with one staff standing against a wall and on their cell phone. We scheduled our puppy for a bath- it never happened. A couple of weeks ago, we boarded our puppy for 1 overnight. I arrived at 8am (when they open), staff was not ready. I waited, along with 10 other parents, for my puppy to be brought down, and was told he hadn't been fed breakfast. I noticed he was wet, but it wasn't until I got him to the car that I realized it was urine, and all of his bedding was saturated with urine. When I got him home, I noticed that all of the food I pre-packaged for him, was still in the bag. He hadn't been fed at all while in their care! I had really hoped BD had changed, but it's obvious that they haven't. It's clear they don't hire competent staff or train them properly. I would not recommend anyone bringing their dog there! Yelp is making me rate BD with a Star- I wouldn't give one if I didn't have to!

We were less…read morethan satisfied with what we found in the area, i.e. very expensive, communication issues - just to name a few. So, we returned to Cornerstone and were very happy with the services for our aging yellow lab. During the exam, Dr. Greene was personable, patient, well skilled and knowledgable, explained and then summarized. The front desk personnel also very helpful. We left feeling truly happy with Cornerstone, once again. Thank you Dr. Greene.

After using them as a family vet for years, I called for a wellness check for my cat before…read moretraveling and was told they couldn't see me, and that I would have to reestablish myself as a patient because for some reason they sent the paperwork for my cats to another vet and I guess that meant I had moved to another vet (I had done no such thing, and they did not listen to me about this). In addition, I have been there with family members to go thru the hard process of putting a sick animal down and the staff there is pretty cold, rude and just not the sort of atmosphere you want to have to do that in. Honestly, I found it rather traumatizing, but I continued to go because I had no other choice. I highly do not recommend this veterarian. Over the years they have had different people, and not many of them have been nice, let alone personable. If you love your pets, take them anywhere else.
