1st Choice came the same day I called which is very unusual I find. Getting a good HVAC/Plumbing company is harder than getting a brain surgeon these days. My brother-in-law is a builder and his HVAC guy ghosted me for three weeks, so I reached out to 1st Choice and they came through with flying colors. All I needed to get my condenser up and running again was a capacitor. The guys didn't have the correct replacement, they left and got the correct one and I didn't have to wait long and the service charge was waived for the work that was done. This is the second time I have worked with 1st Choice and I find them to be knowledgeable and fair with their pricing. Joe and Sammy showed up on time, diagnosed the problem with our ageing central AC system, presented me with a few options, and worked diligently to fix my AC (no Freon, find leak, re-fill, add sealant just in case). I would urge everyone to avoid this contractor. He made an appointment for a Friday at 9am. At 11am I emailed Mike the owner and I was offered an apology as he was short handed. I asked when he could reschedule and he said he would get this resolved quickly. It is now over a month later and I've emailed him twice with no reply. I've since read other similar reviews complaining of the same unethical behavior. Imagine him opening up your heating system and then never coming back. Avoid this company at all costs. read more

I hired this company because they gave me a reasonable price to change my water heater. When the plumber arrived he told me he will be back in a moment. The guy took exactly 2 hours to return because he had none of his tools with him in the morning. Rude behavior but he was able to complete the work but he left my house full of garbage I had to clean what they left behind. I will not hire that company again. read more
