Do not use this survey company. I needed a DWG file of my survey and they charged me an extra $100 for it. I called 4 other companies and 3 said they would have provided it no charge, one said $60. First choice also said they would match other companies prices. I sent them the estimate for $60 and they declined to match it. It is virtually impossible to speak to someone that actually works for this company. After multiple calls to them, I finally got a call back from someone. The people that answer their phones are an over seas company. If I were to guess, they are totally off shoring the business and then getting a local surveyor with a license to stamp their drawings. They have a local go do the inspection and measuring, then have a foreign service center actually draw it, then send it back to be stamped by a local with a license. I do not trust this company at all. The person that stamped my drawing is vice president of a survey company in Miami. Something funny is going on, beware. read more

So far this has been a nightmare dealing with them. When I ordered the survey I was told 3-4 days to see flags on the property. A week went by, no flags, I call and get told it will be done by the end of the week. This is 4th week of them telling me I'm "on the schedule" with the last call being yesterday, and them telling me I am scheduled for yesterday, no flags still. Idiots!! Guy just showed up, woke us up, and we ignored him by not answering his knock s, proceeds to open our side gates and open our lanai door to get into back of our house!! We confront him and question him. Idiot has wrong address!! Terrible and dangerous incident. BEWARE of this company. They did my neighbors survey and left holes in my lawn, cut several houses cables. When I brought it to the surveyors attention he blamed it on the cable company not burying the cables deep enough. They should have called 811 and found out where things were buried. NO REGARD for others. read more

My son purchased a home a couple years ago and the survey was done by first choice surveying, recently we were looking at the survey and noticed that they failed to put a location for the septic tank and the drain field on the survey. we have different vehicle's entering and leaving the property and have no idea where it is safe or unsafe to drive. the realtor stated that this should have been marked out on the survey. I called first choice and they just said they have no idea. read more

My mortgage company requested a servey from first choice. A very nice young man came out and did the servey with some very amazing drafting skills but sadly the servey was sent to us in a pdf. The font was illegible and so the tittle company couldn't use it. The staff at first choice refused to edit the file so we could use the servey as a legal document. read more

I cannot be happier with this company. The team is professional and knowledgable. The survey on my new purchase was done in a timely fashion. I am seeing other reviews that are negative. This is shocking to me, as every exchange I had with this company was a good one. The work was superb and the people I dealt with at the company were all courteous and extremely helpful. This company was hired to survey and provide an elevation certificate for a property I am buying. They originally told me documents would be ready July 7th. July 7th came and went. They then said July 10. Then July 13, July 14, July 15, July 16... I was reassured I would have everything by July 17. Well it is July 17 (end of business). I have called 4 times and all day have been reassured I would have documents by now. I am calling again and have been on hold for over 45 minutes waiting for a manager to resolve this matter. I would not recommend this company if you plan on getting anything accomplished in a timely manner or if you expect them to keep their word when they give a delivery date. FIRST CHOICE SURVEYING INC. ORLANDO, FL The survey company was hired by a neighbor to provide a survey and they cut my internet line while we run 2 businesses from our location. The surveyor started digging 2ft from the FPL pole with obvious lines coming down the pole into the ground. HE THEN COVERED IT UP AND WALKED AWAY! First Choice Surveyors was chosen by the closing company for my home in Venice, Fl. They have not lived up to their "First Choice" name. A survey was signed as complete and sent to Integrity Title. The problem was, it is not complete as no one set markers or survey flags. I have been in contact with the Title Company and Survey Company to no avail. All have promised it would be done the week after the closing, which was on March 17, 2017. It is now April 21, 2017 and nothing has been done. I have sent emails to all concerned one last time. If the markers are not set and the flags not placed, I will be phoning my attorney Monday, April 23. Steer clear of this company. Hire a local company. If they can afford to send employees from Lake Monore Florida to Venice Fl for the week, someone is pocketing money and not completing their work. read more

The team over at First Choice always takes care of us. I never have issues with them. The only delays are usually mother nature related and completely understandable. I appreciate their communication and top notch customer service. I've used other services before but been burned because they cut too many corners and I've had issues after closing!! A man shows up and is in my back yard. No letters on his shirt or his vehicle. Walking around on my property with no announcement. We live in a bad very bad section of town. I have 2 watch dogs and was just about to let them outside. Had i not checked first the crew would have been chewed up. Threatening to call the sheriff department because i told him he needs to wait till i receive a phone call from his office. His office could not confirm his name nor could they confirm that he was supposed to be here i was told i would receive a call back in a couple mins. A simple knock on the door with id could have resolved this. In my op this man has put his crew in danger and doesn't care about Tenants and his office still hasn't called to confirm that he is supposed to be here or that my address was supposed to have a survey done i. I never received a call from the office. I did called back and was hung up on from hold. I told to do what they had to do anyways and 2 hours later called the cops. The cops even said i did the right thing asking for credentials and despite what the surveyor say they do not have the right to walk around with out announcing themselves. But the reason this was retaliation was he called after his office received this review and they hung up on me. read more
