That's my address, routing, account number, and signature. That's pretty bad! I did not consider dropping the bank at that time, but yesterday I received another "breach notice" and the hackers now have my DOB, SSN, Name and phone number. I work very hard at keeping my personal data out of the hands of people who would victimize me online, and my bank has just given it away for free. Please fully expect a reply to this review that 1) The bank cares so deeply about me and my data, 2) The bank offered me a complimentary credit-watching service that I would never have needed had they protected their servers. I am a computer programmer, and I suspect that the IT wing of this bank is reactive and not proactive. So I will open another account somewhere else. I simply can't afford this bank. Probably there is a guy in a high-rise saying that he did everything he could to prevent the breach, and he didn't. He's not qualified. He has the job because of his uncle, or grandpa or whatever.

I explained that my endorsement gave them full recourse to me for the check, but the branch manager got involved and stated that all banks require that now due to a Federal mandate. I didn't believe him, went to Chase Bank and they happily accepted the check saying that there was no Federal requirement as Wells Fargo had claimed. A lie cost you a 33 year customer. A wait of over 20 minutes to give them my money at B of A with attitude. Changed my bank to Chase. I arrived and was greeted, which was great! My appt. was on time and very respectful. Cameron was concise yet did not waste time. He was clear on options. Also they have a 200.00 bonus right now for opening select checking accounts. Nice! Third Federal still took out the payment through automatic withdrawal after the payoff and even though I brought the death certificate and the will showing I'm the Personal Representative on her estate, they refused to communicate with me about the refund needed. They were extremely rude at the St. Petersburg, Florida office and I would never do business with them in the future. I have found every other business I have dealt with following her passing to be very kind and sympathetic with regards to such business. But these people were mean. And on top of that they owe a refund to my Mom's estate.

What a great bank…read more The phone call to get my refinance started was easy. My agent Kim made sure I had on - line access and I was able to just upload everything they needed. The program they offer under low cost is great. If you don't plan on staying in your home more than 5 years it isn't worth adding 3 or 4 k to your loan. The closing costs are $295 bucks. Additionally if the Fed lowers interest again In a year or two I can relock for another 5 years for $295 bucks. The have conventional programs too. If your in the market for a loan check them out. I had to drive to St. Pete for closing because other branches arent open, but that's okay. Ps. They escrow taxes, and they don't escrow homeowners insurance, you just pay that once a year yourself. Don't let that scare you off.

What happened in that 97 days interest rates went up. They slowed my loan down to get a better interest rate for them selves, that change caused the loan payment to go up $400 more dollars a month. I will be selling this mobile home ASAP to get rid of this bank, they do NOT deserve my business,
