Despite having a credit score of 870, I still couldn't get a good rate. The adjustable HELOC loan didn't follow the actual FEDs APR. There were multiple rate cuts that didn't reflect on my loan, even though it was supposed to; they just kept the interest the same. When I inquired, I received the most uneducated responses and excuses. With a credit score of 870 and up, I expect better from my bank. I paid it off quickly after noticing the issues and will never again borrow money from them. I don't recommend it as a bank in general either.

One relatively small deposit took 8 days before I could access the money, no reason why. Luckily I didn't need the money right away but what about someone else who has to pay rent or their employees? This happens all the time for no valid reason. I think the bank is earning interest on the hold. The Regions bank policies are not fair and it should be investigated.
