I gave her a general idea that I wanted 5 turquoise/blue braids and let her do her thing. Let me just say that she did more far more than I could have imagined I wanted, the way she blended the colors looked amazing and the braids looked so clean! Ok fine, no problem. 48 hours later, no response. Call back. During the conversation she says she can't hear me very well and so she'll call me right back. An hour later, no response. Call back. Once I've caught her up for the third time she says she can't do it. It's a scheduling issue. That's weird. Since we haven't even discussed a time yet. First Class Braids is my go-to whenever I want braids. She also does weaves and other styles, but I prefer braids. Mercedes has been my braider for over 7 years now and I love the quality of her work, as well as her friendly disposition. We chat and watch movies together while she gently works on my hair. She doesn't pull too hard or braid too tight. Before I met her, I had been to a few others who were rough and braided way too tight, causing a bit of damage to my edges. Nobody wants that!!
