She claims to have years of experience but blames you for having "damaged hair" when it happens after the fact... Also, cuts are terrible- she can't cut straight so has to add layers to hide the unevenness. THEN she has the audacity to charge you the full price after blaming you for damaging your hair! Now on to Lydia: she always does an amazing job and today was no exception! I've always gone to her to get my hair cut super short, but I've been growing it out and want to keep growing it. Today was the first time she cut it in a "long" hairstyle, and I'm super happy with the results. She asked if I wanted it layered, and I said, "It's up to you," because if there's one thing I've learned over the years, it's that Lydia has an amazing eye and knows exactly what will go best with your face shape, skin tone, etc. Also, I'm not entirely sure what "layering" is... She asked if we should go back to the "ash brown" color she used to do for me, but I turned it down. I agree that a lighter color looks better with my skin tone, but I'm starting to get gray hairs, and I want to hold onto my natural hair color for the few years I have left with it. (Darn you, time!) She also suggested that I get a keratin straightening treatment the next time I was in, which I'm super excited to do. Anything to do away with my straightening iron!
